That might be because its including all the cutscenes from both versions. Which means there are a good amount of repeats with the pokemon swapped around.
Like how Tapu Koko fights either a Buzzswole or a Pheramosa, or how most of the later cutscenes involve either Lunala or Solgaleo.

Sure, the game will sell like hot cakes since it's Pokémon, but I don't remember Pokémon getting GOT anywhere for a long while.
An any% speedrun of the games is over 3 hours, and that's rushing through with optimized strats, skipping everything they can, and knowing everything in the game ahead of time.
