I'm an idiot who never even knew about YMK/Granny Smacker or even that Gene could roundhouse/uppercut and I still beat the game.
I didn't even use the good short attack commands.
Like says though, I understand the game's not for everyone. It's rough, tough, and can be really janky if the controls and play don't suit you.
