I have just ordered a switch. What should I expect? What to do first before starting to use?

open the box
Probably gonna need some charging it too.
Ignore the entire eshop till you've done breath of the wild.
don't forget posting about it on Yea Forums to trigger snoy boys
hit yourself because you purchased a non hackable revision
Put a foil on the display of course
Laugh at peasantfags like
I ordered pro controller and BotW with it. And got crash bandicoot trilogy cuz I loved it during ps1 era. How long does this keep me entertained?
Youll play
>Mario
>zelda
>rabbids
>splatoon
>Boredom
get mario tennis and cuphead
then check the serial number to see if its compatible with cfw
get pic related if you don't have any other platform
or for the sake of portability
You better not enter ps4 or vita threads to consolewar linde a fucking fag
How was the worst version or doom?
I dont know, I deleted it.
expect a switch coming in the mail
you'll need to unbox it before you can play it
get a procontroller, skip botw, get blaster master, preorder spongebob, and get either xenoblade smash or odyssey
Worst fucking advice ever besides telling you to get BFBB. Xenoblade 2 is essential incelcore and Odyssey is pretty weak. BotW shits on both of them.
Screen protector.
SD Card.
Avoid Ninendo branded ones, they're just more expensive for the exact same product.
be prepared to buy some accessories for your console like screen protector, caring case, etc
Get the adjustable charging stand. Literally the most based accessory for the entire system beyond your essential glass screen protector.
Also is SpongeBob that good?
is xenoblade 2 actually good or do people just play it so they can jack off to the waifus
This.
Immediately buy a screen protector, a protection case if you intend to travel with it, and a 64gigs SD card.
Joycons can be a bit rough on the hands (especially in games that require you to have your hand on the right stick at all time) so maybe consider buying a pro controller.
>What to do first before starting to use?
Dilate
>64GB
Pleb, at least 200GB or go home
if you like botw then that's 100+ hours.
maybe 15-20 hours for crash trilogy, more if you wanna go for all the gems etc
Expect to feel a mountain of buyer's remorse when they announce the upgraded model at E3 in four days.
BOTW is boring as fuck once you get past the novelty of the physics interactions.
Did you order an SX OS dongle with it? Expect disappointment unless you've got 1000s of neetbux to burn on turning it into an SP/port machine
>he doesn't know
If you didn't get a hackable model, you wasted your money.
Expect to have fun. I love mine.
Get a fucking carrying case. You can get a cheap $10 one from Walmart.
Buy a Pro controller. Its a dramatic improvement from the Joycons and totally worth the price ($57 from Walmart).
Buy a few indie games from the Eshop. Minecraft, Stardew Valley and Golf Story are good picks. BOTW and MK8 are overrated.
Keep seething fag. Even if they did, would it be able to play totally different games? No way in hell. The games will be the same. And even then, the model wouldn't come out for 6 months.
Get a grip. The switch continues Nintendo and Sony's trend of making ergonomic dumpsterfires of handhelds.
In all seriousness you're gonna want to buy a screen protector for it quickly, you can get official ones from nintendo or 3rd party from amazon. Get one put it over the screen and you don't have to worry about scratching it when putting it on/taking it off the dock any more.
>BOTW and MK8 are overrated
>Buy a few indie games
Terminal soy.
>He didn't hear the news
Don't get your hopes up for a switch pro for another year.
Nogaymes
The amFilm screen protector is a good one in particular.
Put a glass screen protector on it.
