>Dude, it's a stealth game lol >just make sure you don't try to do anything at all unless you're packing those amber potions, sweaty >what did this game mean by this
Has decent enough twists, and cool maps up until you're running around sewers for 5 maps, or until you meet the omniscient elves, then it just gets tedious.
After slogging through a bunch of knife-eared elf faggots the game decides to close itself everytime right before I beat the final boss. Good riddance I guess. Time to try the second game.
Are the Styx games actually good? They're on sale constantly but I always ignored them because 3D indie usually ends up being jank
Lucas Martin
The second one is great.
Jaxson Mitchell
never played the second, but from the sound of it they dumbed it down enough for Yea Forums casuals to enjoy it. First game is very good if you like stealth and can ignore the utter cringe that is the dialog and VA.
Eli Green
>never played the second stopped reading right there
Jacob Nguyen
Speaking of gobbos, has anyone here played Goblin Commander? I'm thinking of trying it.
Josiah Gray
sell me on it then faggot. I enjoyed the first game. everybody itt that says they like the second says the first one is "tedious" which is just a zoomer buzzword for hard
Benjamin Rivera
Hating Elves has got to be the most tired cliche of grognard losers.
Levi Flores
pros >bigger more open-ended levels, the game never forces you down a single corridor to progress >better controls (you can now drop down to a hanging ledge position directly, instead of having to do an awkward jump) >hard mode that forbids you from engaging in combat at all cons >still recycles some levels, but does let you start from a new position with a new objective instead of just "backtrack through the same set of corridors" >still has some bossfights
Parker Robinson
Yes. Dunno why people say the second one is easier, they're about the same.
Great stealth mechanics, lots of different tools, and the levels are excellent with heavy emphasis on the verticality.
Sadly, the story is meh, the levels are reused in reverse halfway through, and generally speaking it shows its limits as an AA game. But it's easy to get 20 hours of fun on each game.
Colton Gomez
>sell me on it It's not my job to do it. Go pirate the game and see for yourself.
Sebastian Kelly
Plus it has coop
Adam Powell
>It's a bug level
Dylan Young
both are great games and ton of fun to revisit but you need to be a stealthbro or you'll hate the game
John Johnson
wait what? there's coop? has this been patched in?
