I like to fly ships and EVE makes me feel like I'm flying nothing.

They killed the game with alpha clones, skill injectors, Citadels, and the Rorqual rework. Also it's now being invaded by botting chinks since their containment server went offline. Oh, but we have new skins every other day and new Triglavian ships nobody asked for, so it's okay.

mass effect walking simulators did exist but they add literally nothing to the game and it's good that they are gone. the game is about fucking space, not you walking around

I do, I lived a C6 for a while. But the wormhole CFC made that lame, and k-space is for nerds that like pressing F1

because a game thats just space combat isnt fun.

Because I already work at a job 8 hours a day.

Every time I undock from a station someone opens a chat with me full of Russian and I see craft flying towards me and I freak out and dock again.

They removed Captain's Quarter so I will now not play their game.

Having an excel spreadsheet while looking at the UI occupying 90% of my game screen isn't what I identify as a "fun video game"

I loved fucking around in low sec(no friends in 0.0), hopping from belt to belt hunting rare spawns. And occasionally playing cat and mouse with a player killer.

It's literally just hard work if you're trying to achieve anything.

Been playing a lot the last 3 years. Just got through with some of my long term goals.

Time to go and spend some of this isk I've made in some big fleet PvP.

2 hours prep/searching for 3 minutes of actual fun isn't engaging when I have an actual job and limited free time.

I played maybe 6 months and lost interest. Skills taking literally years to finish and the fact that you don't actually sit in the pilot seat and fly are what made me stop playing.

There where manual controls added the last time I played (though its completely useless given the ranges combat occurs at) and you can double click to set a heading and use keyboard shortuts for the menu stuff like aproach, orbit, dock etc.

Because the one time I played it I went out into a wormhole to scavenge some shit and a dude showed up out of nowhere, killed me and then just fucked off without even taking the shit I'd scavenged.
What's the point of playing a game if it has people like that in its community

Because the game isn't centered around PVP like it was at its peak and it's been in the same stagnant state for ~5 years now.
Gorgeous game and I hope it gets a surge like it did in 2013, but I began doubting that when I heard they sold the company off to Pearl Abyss.
