The only thing that differentiated the FFVII cast was their Limits really, and all had pretty good stuff. If anything Aeris had the best Limits. Use anyone you like, whatever.

This half-orc multi class sorcerer/barbarian failure from Neverwinter Nights. His AI is so fucked that he constantly interrupts his own casting animations, but he won't melee for you unless you use console commands to lower his Charisma to the point he is unable to cast anything. On top of how completely useless he is compared to the rogue/cleric, he's a huge fucking asshole who refers to himself in the third-person.
