Seconding this. So many games have skeleton NPCs or enemies but none of them let you play as the skeletons, it's unreasonable.

Well, Divinity Orignal Sin 2 already have that as a playable race. Skyrim has a mod for it, and the mod for the skeleton race for Neverwinter Nights 2 allude me. It possible to make a skeleton race in Champions Online, but only if you're rich.

I have no fucking clue what direction they're going in now. What started off as a reasonable project that would appeal to a specific audience looking for a new fantasy MMO, has now become a babysitting service for ideas guys and men with tits that squeal "Ooh! Yes, and-..." All day, still adding gimicks and bloat to a game that should have been released a year ago. And now they're asking us to "build hype". The game has made 0 dollars so far, and they're now discussing hiring a team specifically for social media.

Oh, I know. It's still not the same. There's no point to any MMO if I can't be transported to another world as my skeleton character once it shuts down.
Singleplayer games are less of an issue, very easily modded, but few games let you be a skeleton and have the game world acknowledge that. There's too few skeleton games in the world.

I know that feeling, but with bug people. Anyways, I had to check and yes, if you consider floating skull as a skeleton, you can probably play City of Heroes/Villain as well.
I remember some shitty ass browser MMO I barely played as a kid, but had this skeleton costume I wanted so fucking badly.
I managed to get some bootleg one that gave me the skele body, but also left the human head so it just ended up looking dumb. I also want more mosnter races in MMOs

If costume based system is more popular with other mmo, it could almost eliminate all these X race problem. Its the reason why I play City of Heroes/Champions Online. I seen some crazy stuff being made with that system in many costume contest held in both games.
