huge complexes like groznyj grad. More than two countries. Night time so dark that its practically impossible to see anything without a light or night vision. AND A FUCKING STORY
There were suppose to be 6 areas remember? Even old mother base we were suppose to visit
Meatier content. MGSV isn't a small game -- all the 70+ hour play times are believable -- but much of the unique stuff is actually rather thin when you understand the objectives. It's even thinner given how lopsided the game's enemy placement can be (one path might be tense and fraught with enemies, but another might be a light stroll to the objective, and there's no way to know what your path will entail ahead of time). It seems like a long game, but when you're used to how the game works and know what to do it's often not that involving or time consuming to complete a mission. None of the previous Metal Gear games are long either, but it makes MGSV's bloat that much more grievous.
People complain about what's absent or what gets repeated, but the unique stuff itself is underwhelming to me. The game doesn't take into account the player's options as well as it delivers them, and the objectives rarely help anything.
An ending.
i wanted Big Boss
instead i got a boring open world and WOLBACHIA
Outer Heaven as its own buildable base like DD
This
I just wanted more arms
you know kojima was talking about making a zombie metal gear game then mgs survive came out people hated it, Kojima must be heart broken lol
I'd settle for MG1
it did though
> More story content directly related to the MG Story, and BB.
> Decrease the development time/requirements of everything in the game by at least 30%.
> FOB's was great. But completely fucking useless without a working Nuke tab. The absolute hypest aspect of the game and its useless.
> More dialogue from Kiefer Sutherland.
> A connection to MG1 that was more concrete and less metaphorical/thematic/artistic.
> MGO but actually stable and playable.
> An actual end to Chico's story.
There is that concept art for his boss fight / possible buddy outfit
Interiors for sneaking around in, and interiors at Mother Base.
More Big Boss dialogue.
To actually play as Big Boss.
To have Big Boss interact with Liquid Snake more than twice.
>A connection to MG1 that was more concrete
Like what? Big Boss is building Outer Heaven during the events of the game.
>All that pre-release hype
>That "Oh shit" moment when BB starts gunning down children and his own soldiers in the trailers
>Everybody speculating all sorts of crazy shit about how BB starts going off the deep end
>People suggesting that he murdered the kids because they stole his diamond dogs
>Somebody posts how you can fulton extract child soldiers and everybody thinks you can actually add them to your army
>Theories that Skullface was gonna die early on and start going all Tyler Durden on you
>Theories that you join up with Skullface and start working with him
>Wondering whether or not your soldiers are going to betray you and that's why they point the laser at you and BB guns them down later
>Either that or you just undergo a PTSD meltdown or start hallucinating
>That one guy who suggested that the soldiers figured out about you starting the wars that killed their families and you have to kill all of them to prevent them from spreading the information
>Ideas where you have to kill everybody in a mission for S-rank to cement Big Boss' step into villainy
>Somebody points out that Sahelanthropus' spikes looks like a lot like the shrapnel in your head and that you might actually be having an hallucination when you're driving away from it in the car
>That fucking idea where the game ends with you infiltrating your unique and fully customized Mother Base as Solid Snake
>mfw this game was one of the biggest fucking disappointments that I've ever experienced and I will forever search for a story that does something like the trailers depicted well
Get on board the disappointment train.
woke poster
Remember this next week.
no venom
an end to the story featuring big boss doing some reprehensible shit that sets him as the villain in MG1 and MG2
building outer heaven
ending the game in an MG1 remake with you infiltrating the Outer Heaven you spent the game building as Solid Snake
I mean I think a lot of that falls into open world nonsense. A game that could have been a tight cohesive package becomes a bloated shallow mess, for no reason. The overworld almost serves no purpose other than just for spectacle. There's these mechanics that act as incentives to want you to leave the overworld, but the games fundamental flaw is that you don't really want to stay out there anyway, there's jack shit to do.
There's a PC mod revision that adds a lot of stuff and this is potentially one of them
several ENB's also make it dark as fuck
>More dialogue from Kiefer Sutherland.
This already exists somewhat. They cut out like 90% of his recorded lines for some reason, but they're in the game files.
