OP here. I'm used to playing at 144 hz and going to the shoddy 30 FPS that BB has was atrocious. I still have to admit that the game is phenomenal, although my experience of it was sabotaged. Would have been more enjoyable on PC.

Point stands, PS4 has literally ONE game going for it.

bloodborne is overrated but still solid. i could be convinced that spiderman deserves a spot in A tier and detriot deserves a spot in B. both were kinda riding the line for me

Higher framerate=faster response to your inputs. Basically there's a delay from pressing a button to an action being performed on the screen. A higher framerate reduces this delay so it feels better. Again, I don't think there's anything wrong with 30 fps its just not the best.

The retard you're responding to has no clue what he's talking about. Framerate doesn't affect input delay in any way, shape or form. What it does do, however, is make it so the image is much more fluid when in motion, which gives that much more information for your brain to respond to, which is why high FPS is a standard for action games and competitive play. However, after playing enough games at 60+ FPS, it's very hard to regress to 30.

If I press the jump button at 30 fps, I see the jump begin 1/30 of a second later. At 60 fps I see it 1/60 of a second later. That's why I'm saying it feels more responsive. This might not be the case for everyone, but I personally can only tell the difference between 30 and 60 is when I'm the one playing

They're pretty flawed and underwhelming sure, but they're fully gameplay focused and keep you engaged throughout the entire thing. This already puts it above half the list.

How the fuck is he not right? One frame in a 60fps game is about 17ms. Ignoring all other potential sources of latency, it takes up to 17ms for your input to mean anything. It takes up to 33ms in a 30fps game, depending on how early in the frame your input was. Higher framerates mean the controls more precisely respond to your actual timing. The lower the framerate, the more of an approximation it is.
