I was thinking about it earlier today actually. Looking back on it, DDD and KH3 felt like one of those movies thats split into two parts (Deathly Hollows, Hobbit, etc.). Like it could have been one game, but they decided to make it two games. It was really drawn out. I won't say it was a bad game, but it was dissapointing in some regards. Overall I enjoyed myself, so I guess I can't complain too much. My favorite moments: >title opening video >Toy Story world, all of it >first half of Monsters Inc. world >Davy Jones battle >The Final World sequence >SoD/Xemnas/YX battle >13 Darkness battle in Scala >that one attack where Xehanort sits on his throne and shoots lasers at you (even though I died too many times to it) >the ending scenes after they return to the Keyblade Graveyard (when Sora leaves and onward)
Hudson Morris
It's still the best selling game of this year
Chase Phillips
>Sora turns back time >But this time lingering will helps out Why the fuck did this happen?
Benjamin Powell
It's mediocre, but it being mediocre is still way better than the inexcusable dumpster fire that was FF15.
Juan Reed
Marluxia would rather cum on Saix's dumb scar than do that
Ian Morales
Namine says she'll send Terra to help when you meet her in the Final World.
Benjamin Perez
She wishes. Literally. They met for the first time as kids, and she's carried a crush on him ever since, even when both of them had their memories hard wiped by a rogue time travel jump. The only reason she's in the Organization is because he's there.
Josiah Edwards
Watch final world missable cutscenes you probably missed it
Jackson White
It sold entirely on hype and good faith from 2, get back to me when the numbers for whatever comes next are in.
William Moore
One of the stars Sora talks to was namine. She went and told Lingering Will to fix this shit. There was bs play or something that showed how Namine and Will were connected
Cooper Rogers
To be fair that doesn't explain anything, does the Final World just exist outside of time or something? Because if Sora just erased time up to that point then his conversation with Namine should have been erased too.
Landon Russell
Time is convoluted.
Julian Watson
Why wasn't he there in the first place? It's not like he goes anywhere. He was literally waiting 10 years for this shit and he misses it the first time. Unless the original timeline was the original and the second timeline was Final Mix
Chase Parker
If sleep worlds exist out of time no reason after life associated world wouldn't.
Nicholas Harris
That's why the thinking man's theory is he jumped to a parallel universe
Dylan Jones
He was likely asleep.
Nicholas Ward
I liked the combat a lot, compared to how slow the first game was. It certainly didn't "play itself". Did you play on easy?
What I didn't like, however, were worlds like PotC where the ship slowed the game waaaaaaaay down, and Frozen where you had to climb the same mountain and the boss comes from nowhere due to Disney's meddling
Jose Jackson
He literally rewrote reality with the power of waking.
Ryder Ward
Sora's gotta Link the Fire.
Samuel Nguyen
Then... why would Namine have been talking to that Lingering will instead of the one from her universe?
Elijah Gray
THE WHOLE PLOT WAS NOTHING ALL THAT BUILD UP ABOUT THE BOX ALL THAT OTHER SHIT STREWN OUT OVER YEARS OF SIDE GAMES WAS RESOLVED IN THE LAST 15 MINS
WHAT THE FUCK
Elijah Bell
Has anything interesting happened in the mobile game since KH3 released?
Andrew Thomas
So why the fuck did I play all of these shitty handheld games if none it mattered at all? I'm still pissed off at how this game was handled.
Charles Collins
No, they went to Wreck-it Ralph world because the land the Dandelions went to was retconned into a data world and it's causing glitches.
Dylan Cook
Seething
Jaxon Edwards
>>literally plays itself just like FF15 It wasn't anywhere near that bad.
Their world turned out to be a data world computer simulation. And Brain is evil. I think those were after 3.
Jaxson Morris
What do you mean none of it mattered?
Andrew Baker
Because in the end it's still jewish Square who want your money not you enjoying a game.
Caleb Fisher
>even Larxene was disappointed by KH3
Jason Flores
He means they spent years setting up everything with the BBS and Days trio for all of it to be solved in the last few hours of the game as quickly and as easily as possible. There's no strife, it's just a bunch of retards making up reasons they can't get anything done until Sora's done fucking around in Disney worlds.
Parker Martin
>Aqua is trapped >Ventus is trapped >Terra is trapped >Sora's gotta awaken his power to save them How is that "making up reasons"? None of them would be back on their own.
Adrian Collins
>Aqua is trapped And it was Riku's job to save her, which he didn't do because for some reason it had to be Sora? >Ventus is trapped And Sora had the power of waking all along so all that piddling about in Disney worlds was pointless. >Terra is trapped And was being held captive by Xehanort's heart, so that was never something they could have dealt with until the war.
Dylan Hernandez
>And it was Riku's job to save her, which he didn't do because for some reason it had to be Sora? It didn't have to be Sora, Sora just asked Riku to tag him in and Riku said sure. Riku has the same power of waking that Sora does and could have done it if he refused Sora's request. They're not competing to see who can save the others first. Whatever works works.
>And Sora had the power of waking all along so all that piddling about in Disney worlds was pointless. And could only realize that by piddling about in those Disney worlds and interacting with the Organization members there to reflect on his situation.
>And was being held captive by Xehanort's heart, so that was never something they could have dealt with until the war. So? Sora wasn't the one who ended up freeing Terra, despite contributing. That was Ventus, who awoke Terra's will and freed him and Aqua from their chains.
And the others were similar too. Roxas returned thanks to Ienzo, Demyx, Vexen, and Roxas' friends being in trouble in proximity to Sora. Xion returned due to Lea being in trouble in proximity of Sora. What's the issue?
Ian Flores
>It didn't have to be Sora, Apparently it did otherwise Riku wouldn't have jobbed to a tutorial boss twice. >And could only realize that by piddling about in those Disney worlds and interacting with the Organization members there to reflect on his situation. Uh, you're wrong? He didn't even know until Ventus told him the truth because Nomura can't write anything but deus ex machinas. >What's the issue? The issue is why was none of this paced out throughout all the empty fucking space between Disney worlds? Why was it all rushed at the end where none of it could be given the time it needed to make it a great moment? It just all happens at once in a fucking blur and no one gets to take some time to reflect on it because the game ends immediately afterwards.
Lincoln Cooper
>Buying anything by Square-Enix after FFXII
Aaron Garcia
Final world connects all universes
Brandon Cook
But how would she know which LW to talk to? And how would she even know Sora was going to hop universes?
Ian Butler
She spoke to all of them, brainlet.
Ayden Gonzalez
And how do you rationalize that Nomura explicitly stated what happened making this all dipshit headcanon anyway?
