The problem with those games is that the gameplay gets old real fast. The battles are slow as fuck and the encounter rate is stupidly high.
The fact that the remakes didn't even try to fix this and instead focused on replacing the music and artwork is a travesty. Meguro is a good composer but dogshit director.
I would ask for proper console remakes but they'd probably be P3-ified and turned into visual novels.
