What better offense or defense?
What better offense or defense?
no offense but it’s nofense.
Go back
These are so ugly
the video literally showed that the sword couldn't break the shield
checkmate swordfags
swordfags seething
The Shield couldn't break the Sword either, though
how does the one on the left eat
Oh no! You’re going to hurt me with the shield! Somehow...
But the important thing to remember is that you’re going to beat me!
The sword is bound to it magically, it will float if it stops biting it
Depends of your strategy, do you want to destroy the enemy with massive firepower or tired it until victory is easy?
would you rather have an unstoppable force or an immovable object.
The correct answer is you want both.
Haha a dynomax battle between those two would be epic!
Like a kaiju battle. Very badass.
Is a reference to the old saying "what happens when a unstoppable force meets an immoveable force?" Answer: they cancel each other.
An unstoppable force is just an immovable object in motion, all the shieldog has to do is run around and ram shit
The virgin defensive pokemon:
>toxic is only source of damage
>just used to set up for the REAL pokemon with stealth rock and spikes
>switched in to eat attacks so more useful pokemon don't die
The chad sweeper:
>can 1 or 2 hit KO everything
>only sets up for itself
>rest of the team just exists to support it
These look like fan designs.
Cute.
what absolute shit designs. do pokefags have any standards at all?
Fan designs are better now.
To be fair, the shield isn’t part of captain America’s face
The best defense is breaking your opponent's spine into thousands of pieces.
>literally a fucking dog holding a fucking stick in it's fucking mouth
>just an immovable object in motion
I dont think you know what the word immovable means bud. To move is to attack, an immovable object can only defend.
To put it in the games terms, shield pupper probably has absolute dogshit attack and sword doggo probably has trash defense. having a team of both is the right answer.
>No one wants a bad ass Sif legendary
>No one remembers Sif, The Great Grey Wolf
I hate this place
That guy draws pretty nice curves and something about it looks very soft
Deoxys Speed
Depends, in this case i think Shielddog looks better then Sworddog at least.
Shields can be cool as fuck when done properly like say, M.W.S.
But the enemy can't hurt you if you are dead, and either you win fast or die fast, or you not taking damage might not actually help you win you just stall forever, just look at 20th Century Boy. And honestly, if a couple of points can mean i can beat a enemy without them doing anything it is the obvious choice, not only because it means faster battles, but also because it means faster GRINDING since each fodder dies faster, which means i can get in more battles in the same amount of time and end up a higher level faster or at least reach the "softcap" of a area faster.
Ah, but it is not the job a of a Shield to break a opponent, it is "merely" to protect its user, even if the shield would gone after a clash if the user is a in a good state after the clash then Shield did what it was supposed to do (Protect the user) while the Sword did not (Kill the enemy).
second I saw swordpup I knew I had to get Sword just to nickname it Sif.
Don't forget the baton pass cucks
What if my defensive Pokémon just spams boosts and then metronome? Or my defensive Pokémon is a fun bro?
Anyone know where to get the DS pokemon roms? Haven't been able to find a good a trustworthy site
Defense.
Just stand there and take the hits. The offensefag will tire himself out eventually, by which that point you just flick him away.
Are they letting that James guy do all the pokemon in S/S? Who is he anyway? All I know is he did a few pokemon for gen 5
I'm actually getting used to their designs. They were the only monsters announced of the seven that I didn't like much but I guess most of the feeling came from the bad angles on the cutscene and the atrocious box art.
These are the legendaries they're going with? By far the worst designs yet.
Haha imagine if they started sniffing each other’s butts while dynamaxed
No, he's just the art director.
Dude's been around for a while, he did stuff like Shadow Lugia but only in the last few gens he's been getting more work. I like the dude, he did meh Pokémon like the Vanillite line and Mandibuzz, but also really good shit like the Golett line, Buzzwole and Poipole.
For legendaries it's always best to go with offense.
All that's needed to make a good offensive pokemon is to have high stats which is a given with legendaries.
For a pokemon to be top tier defensively you still need the stats, but you also need great typing, ability, and moveset.
