I love them actually. I know Republic Commando had dmg sponge enemies and most guns were unstatisfying, but I loved the more gritty atmosphere this game had. Loved that ghost ship level and the Delta Squad as a whole. Didn't feel like a slog to me and I loved this game.

Republic Commando is pretty fantastic, but so is BF2 and Force Unleashed. Starkiller was a great protagonist and certainly better than what nuSW concocted with Rebels.

Dark Forces: The first time I got to shoot a stormtrooper was awesome!
Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight: First time you could really use a lightsaber! Also, the cutscene where Katarn cuts down Maw.

Something dumb I would like is a game where I could just cherry pick the units and characters from each faction I like and use them against other people. A total sandbox not bound by continuity. I want old Obi-Wan leading clone troopers against General Grevious backed by First Order stormtroopers on Bespin.
