I've been meaning to play thing game for a while now, but never got around to picking it up. Is it worth it?
Opinions on Okami?
way too easy and way too drawn-out
It's okay. Playing as a dog was fun.
If you do a block with the shield thingy you do an izuma drop counter and it's really cool
It's worth playing, the combat feels smooth and requires different method of attacking for defeating certain enemies. Be ready for unskippable dialogues though. It's something players have to go through when playing the game for the first time. You only get the option to skip them in New Game+.
Prepare for never defeating BIG DICK WALL
If the setting and style are what you're looking for then it's an amazing game.
Fun game overall, feels rewarding to explore the map, soundtrack is great, bosses feel pretty shitty to fight, it's a comfy and easy game.
I'd say it's worth it if you like Zelda or adventure games
it's a good zelda game that isn't a zelda game
It's a long game, but it's split very well into several arcs, so you always have a sense of fulfillment and closure when one ends.
The combat is on the easy side, but it's a lot of fun and you can do a lot of over-the-top secret moves and combos. The powers all get great uses in the overworld, and there are plenty of nooks and crannies to explore.
Overall, if you enjoy Zelda-style games, you'll have a blast with Okami. The art and music elevate each other too.
Bland Zelda clone. Just play Zelda.
Don't try to complete the game 100 percent. You'll have a hard time with the trial gates, which are a gauntlet that you have to conquer them in one attempt.
Better than all 3D Zelda games except maybe OoT and MM.
Not OP but thank you. Also wondering about Okami.
Its considered one of the highest rated game of all time, and I keep wondering why when I hear about how long it is and the annoying cutscenes.
Drags on too long although i think the second half was better, the journey to orochi could be faster.
It's a Zelda game but with better mechanics imo. The artstyle is great, so is the music and the story is nice enough. However, the game is extremely easy (I mean not that Zeldas are that hard either), I never had any sort of trouble in combat outside of the last devil gate trial, also the text speed is slow as hell.
I beat it 2 days ago and it's honestly one of my favorite games now.
100%ing the game was not so bad but there's no real reason to go for all achievements because you don't really get anything important from fishing or completing the tomes.
Also Blockhead Grande shits all over any and every enemy in the game, even lmao3nagi
It's the best wolf-based Zelda game that released in 2006.
mediocre trash only praised because it sold like shit
how is it on switch, bros?
Overall worth playing if you like Zelda, the combat is okay, the graphics just gorgeous, and the music is pretty solid too.
But holy fuck, does it drag HORRIBLY at times. Prepare for death by text.
>brain dead puzzles
>easy as fuck
>shitty dungeons
>bland as fuck level design
>repetitive side quests
6/10
Yes I have played it 3 times twice on wi iand once on pc
Okami was made for PC mouse I feel, only sad thing is the framerate but it's 30 and smooth
Since this we're talking about Okami, is Okamiden worth checking out?
Fantastic style and music
Easy as piss gameplay
Overall a great game
Caan you imagin zeld is dog
Thanks for your opinion but the critics say otherwise
Nice art style, but it's as stimulating as a Zelda game.
really? I'm playing for the first time right now and it's let me skip just about every cutscene I wanted to, it's F1 on PC I think
Really? I guess it was a PS2 only issue.
I think there are some that you HAVE to watch at least once, but I'm not entirely sure.
It's a pretty amazing game. Played it on the Wii and then played the HD on ps4 last year.
I was pretty happy to beat the 'final boss' wall memorization without cheating since i could never do that shit as a kid
Why would you retards skip cutscenes on your first time playing anyway? The game's super easy so you won't watch anything twice.
Yep is only ps2 currently replaying it right now and still looks good for a ps2 game.
I took a picture and paused the emulator as I went. Remembering the order isn't a problem, its the precise positions of several points that is near impossible.
On sale, sure. But not the sequel.
Plays well. Dungeons, story and characters are pretty good.
Downisde is that its so laughably easy that you'll most likely never die, and the game gives you a lot of outs even if you do die.
Yep thats Ocarina of time.
Yes I enjoyed it greatly. It might cheapen the sotry of the original a bit, but you play as okami's son and all the other zodiac animals kids are in their place. It's good though. First game I played on my 3ds xl
There are some that are story heavy that you can't skip. I think any that have flashbacks are the ones who mostly do it
We don't talk about that game.
Blockhead Grande gave me neurosis and I have some symptoms of it to this very day.
The Switch version lets you skip cutscenes right from the beginning now. A pleasant surprise cuz I remember that being a big problem on ps3.
BLOCKED head grande
It exists. I wish it didn't but it exists.
