Mid 90's and early 00's RPGs had A LOT of %gear drop on kill, %gold drop on kill, exp loss, etc. It was all but normal to PK anyone that passed by you and WoW classic was just at the end of that thrend so it carries some aspects of old RPGs

Personally I don't understand what peoples problem is with what Soda is saying, he's not asking for a special streamer server where they have admin powers or something, he's not asking Blizzard to constantly fly around them like a bodyguard, and he's not even complaining about genuine PvP on a PvP server.
Back in Vanilla if you were known as a douche on a server, some people or guilds avoided you, and some people flocked to you. Soda is essentially suggesting that because all streamers are going to play on the same server, on both factions, they could band together and create a blacklist of people to shut out of their guilds. This isn't some special power and has always existed, if enough Yea Forums rejects decided to populate a specific server, we could do the exact same. It simply relies on enough people adhering too it, which is easy enough when ALL wow streamers agree to it.
The easiest way to avoid such a list is to just play on a non-streamer server.

The only reassuring thing about it is that it's largely a fucking meme spec in BGs. Basing your spec around a 10 minute cooldown is a joke. And while it's on cooldown they haven't got a fucking chance in duels either. But in WPVP as a class with stealth? They can ensure every single encounter they take is when they've got all their bullshit up. And there's no real counterplay you can manage.
The game appears to have some glaring PVP balance flaws and I'm not sure I'm okay with consistently losing this sort of match up even if the player is mediocre because they get to sit on this bullshit disable. They also overlap their stuns and blinds and shit by haff a second or so. So there doesn't seem to be any counterplay as a Shaman.
Please convince me otherwise. I'm losing interest in playing. It really doesn't help I'm gonna be forced to play resto all the way through the 6 phases because ele is dog shit in PVE. I'm tempted to just play Mage at this point.

Why is stream sniping a big deal anyway? In a card game I can understand because they can see your hand gauge information from that and play around it. In a FPS they could find your location and shoot from half way across the map. But in WoW? Only thing you get is their CDs which you can keep track of normally and their location. Their location isn't that much of a big deal since usually when you get ganked, you can expect to be corpse camped for a while. You can find their general location from using /who anyway on an alt.

shaman is terrible in anything but group pvp, and terrible as anything but ele. what's ironic about this is that ele is absolute trash tier in pve and you can only raid/get gear as resto. all of your BiS are cloth as resto, and probably for ele as well until naxx, so you will get exploded by any warrior or rogue if you ever set foot into pvp. don't play shaman if you want to pvp. they are fucking garbage. i keep telling people but nobody listens, they keep thinking it's like private servers where everyone starts with naxx gear and pops their 3m trinket + 3m cooldowns and FaPs 24/7 in every fight. it's not like that at all in vanilla. shamans are probably the worst pvp class until you start getting decent ele drops from nax/bwl (which you are at the bottom of the list behind mages/locks and probably other resto shamans who want it despite not pvping, also probably druid healers who want it for their boomkin spec which they will never use probably).

All hybrid classes are big memes,that have to be healsluts except shadowpriest and EleShamans every X minutes.So many Classes need to be extremly geared to compete with Warriors/Rogue/Mages/Hunters.
Also many Classes are extremly flawed Talent/Ability/Playstyle wise.For example as a warlock the Felhunter is the superior pet in 80% of cases,but if you don't have a succubus against Warrios/Rogues you will get absolutely murdered.You will legit die always in the stunlock of a rogue,firstly because the insignia of WL doesn't remove stuns and furthermore because you need be absurdly geared+Soullink(a Spec usually nobody plays) to survive without a Succubus.If you are Alliance you are even more fucked because every UD will dab on you.
The same can be applied to Warriors,no Succubus or Soullink ? It might happen that they charge you and crit with Mortal+Auto+Swordproc all in 1 second and you instantly lose 70%-80% of your life.
Many Specs/Classes are garbage without R14 or Raiding Epics,literally every off Spec and a few Classes like Warlocks(need a huge Healthpool for PvP).Mages/Hunters/Rogues can all achieve much with very little gear compared to other classes.

In all honesty,as a Euro myselfs all Slavs I raided with and other Euros were pretty based.We properly had all Nationalities,everybody had accents and nobody gave a fuck.Everyone was friendly yet determined,good at the game and had dark humour.

I can't comment on Arabs or Asians,but the Euro raiding groups were more based than the US raids.

Pretty much any damage spec can do good damage, usually the issue is resources. Shadow Priests, boomkins and Ele Shamans are a good example. You'll blow shit up for like a minute then you'll be left hitting them with a stick. SOOOOO if you have a 5 man group that isn't shit, you should be able to really put out damage. You'll be drinking a lot though. If you stock up on mana potions and whatnot you'll be a lot more effective.

I did the same for him. You use a cross faction char to /who people and watching which zones they're transitioning into. From there at 60 it's fairly well known what content spots people generally go to, especially if they're farming.

Slow him with frost shock, remove poisons on you, run away a short bit and Healing Wave yourself. Rogue has no ranged interrupt aside from Blind on a 5 min CD (unless he is good of course and levelled engineering then you can say your prayers)

This happens nearly all the time to me. Flame Shock doesn't stop them doing their business. At best it stops them bandaging up the damage my lightning shield just did to them.

At best you have a 1s window to pop NS Healing Wave and then they just stun you, get you low again. If somehow you're not dead at this stage they just pop their blind sap and go at you again with zero DR because 18 seconds have passed. I've even seen rogues utilising gnomish death ray while they have you blinded. Poiosn Cleanse maybe spellbatches with a blind 1% of the time.

Even with mail armor and a shield they're still getting me from like 5k HP to 1k in their CS KS. And this is with General gear with some spell power bis too. I think my armor is like 4800 or so. Sure it's not a kill but they either cold blood and finish you off with eviscerate + sapper charge or some shit while you're blinded or can open up on you a second time.

Guy has 10-20k subs per month. For 2018 the average was about 14k subs, which is $35k/month with a 50/50 split. And that's subs only. He once accidentally leaked his donation amounts ($230k).
When you make that much money, it becomes hard to spend it all, or rather, spend it all on things that have no resale value. You might buy an expensive house, but that can be sold later on.
Why do I feel the only way to counter this is to start streaming on the opposite faction on his server and just make a cult of hate for him. Just build a guild dedicated to ganking him and his army, slowly building a following of haters.

The only chart I've found has a 10 level range, I know in vanilla dungeon mobs had a wide range of levels but it was more like 4 or 5
Yeah but that all inevitably dries up at some point, that and the guy doesn't really have any prospects beyond "I can play video games". End of the day it might be great here and now but once you reach the end of your rope reality crashes in pretty hard. That and on top of that you have to account for inflation, today's millions might be tomorrows trillions and everything could dry up as soon as tomorrow, just look at how fast guys like ProJarad crash and burn.
