Cope more, Google won
what the fuck is half this image even trying to convey you drooling retard? Are you that hopped up on memes?
>buy games whenever you want
Why is that on the list? Is there an option where you can't buy games whenever you want?
>buying games to stream them
absolutely retarded
i think he OD'd
I think they're comparing it to physical on consoles, which is fucking retarded like this whole project
The target audience clearly isn't gamers
oh boy I can't wait to stream 720p streamed content on my 4k TV at 120ms latency.
The word is latency and it's killing googlefags
american retard
It's only 9$/month goym
This
I was thinking this would be OnLive 2.0 which would be a good idea. It would sell.
But having to buy the titles ruins the whole Netflix of Gaming idea.
(games sold separately)
>Google won
With a worse game lineup and worse pricing that it's competitors?
>buy games
lol
el americano datacapeado
Are you an actual baby?
>sega channel but worse
>they won
Hahahaha no
I'm liking the memes.
>twitter.com
AHAHAHAH THAT DAMAGE CONTROL
>more HD graphics than pc
>first console to allow dualshock AND google support
>can be traversed easily with no lag when you go om roadtrips
>name based on greek gods, stadia coming from Standia (the greek god of upright psoitioning)
how is google this based??
Yea Forums:
>console good! i want a good new console! with fast speeds and memory!
google:
>releases Stadia, faster gpu than GTX 2080, 200GB of ram
Yea Forums: NO NO NO NO COMPANY BAD
>Yea Forums asks for a good console
>google gives an amazing fast console the size of a quarter that can run at speeds upwards of a giggajule
>company still bad
>despite specs better than my current pc which is legally classified as a megacomputer
LMAO
OH NO NO WHEEZE
now that's a shillforce
lol
So what are you guys griping about now?
>please mommy pleasssee i cant handle google being good!
>2080 IS BAD GPU!!!
>latency
just ping google.com, it will be similar
Microsoft:
>releases Xcloud, faster specs all around to STaDia, so even if you're a streamcuck it's a better choice not to get google
People actually have a problem with this? If it works and you have a good connection it sounds pretty cool to me. Especially since the hardware part is on their end.
MIcrososft:
>is poor
BASED
>Yes
HOLY SHIT I CAN BUY GAMES WHENEVER I WANT? THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER!!!!
>Google is being hit with anti trust lawsuits left and right
>People will be abandoning chrome massively
>There's probably going to be a huge backlash over google censoring people on youtube (legitimate censorship, literally Soviet Union tier)
>Now they're trying to release a product that half the world won't be able to even think about buying
>They have severe internal strife because of SJWs literally tearing apart their company from the inside out
Post them this video of their awful latency.
>I will actually be able to test the latency myself for free
Well color me surprised
We can finally buy games whenever we want, guys! You can even do it with the FREE version. BASED GOOGLE
>pay $10 a month to play games
>have to pay full price for them
>have to pay to play games you paid for
this was made by a retarded boomer jew who wanted to copy netflix
this is going to fail so fucking hard wtf
how did no one shoot this retarded shit down
Stadia is a fucking mess.
>2 TB of data required to play a single game on Stadia
>cope.jpg
Btw server was 10 meters away.
>people are willingly signing up for forced online subscription based sub-720p compression hell video games
>with a full second of input lag to boot
Streaming interactive media from a server miles away isn't what you would call a console.
Those aren't people, they're something much lower. Even roaches are more human than they are.
>the netflix of gaming but you have to buy the games individually + the subscription fee.
What a fucking rip-off. I hope to god normies don't eat this shit up but I doubt it.
Couldn't moderate the comments in real time, too much latency.
Are you poor? Can't you even afford to help poor multibillionare Google?
Until we use active lasers or some shit for internet connection, we aren't going to be able to improve ping much. So there's legitimately no way to currently improve. Every time the connection is handed off it's going to increase ping. You can keep it low with direct routes and increased packet management but it's still always going to be like 75-100 ping.
And to top it all off the "service" isn't a service. You have to fucking PAY them a monthly fee to buy games. I wanted a netflix sub where I can just log on at night, browse a few random games, play for a few hours, and get off. I don't want to buy single old games and stream them, wtf.
>trying to lure people in with Destiny 2 of all games
Blizzard added it to my account for literally free, it's that shit.
So let's say I buy into this and decide to purchase, say, the newest Ubishit game to play on the go. Who gives me the guarantee that the service is not going to be discontinued in my lifetime? Who gives me the money back if my internet decides to stop working for a week because of external, unpredictable reasons?
I've never played that game so I can't judge if that's actual latency or if the game just takes that long to swing.
>buying non physical games locked to a platform which wont exist in 2 years
WEW
I tried the Playstation cloud streaming service at my college dorm and surprisingly it worked perfectly, so assuming the internet uncucks itself this could actually be feasible.
However, we're never getting nationwide college campus tier internet, especially in this retarded political climate where we're either getting Funny Orange Corporate Cuck Meme Man, Old Pedophile Corporate Cuck Man, or 4 Years of Gridlock with Bernie
>not even a consistent delay
No one and I guarantee a clause in their EULA will make you agree
Why would there be a consistent delay? Shit is basically relying on the wind not blowing to be remotely serviceable.
That’s an old gif m8
>Btw server was 10 meters away.
I trust you're being honest here but can I see some evidence that the server is 10 meters away.
its not that bad but it doesnt work like that in real life
The fact such a wide gap exists shows it's not fit for purpose for this type of game.
Except latency isn't the issue, jitter is.
You fucking retard
>Buy games whenever you want: Yes
Its over bros
>Google SJW to engineer ratio is 4:1
They gonna rot from inside out.
FUCK JEWS
FUCK GOOGLE
FUCK YOUTUBE
FUCK JANNIES
>transfering 32 bytes in 7ms
>compared to fucking gigabytes
the first post was retarded but why would you even check this
Wait you still have to buy your games with this shit? What's the plan if the service dies?
I wasn't expecting there to be, but I'm just saying that even if a long delay were acceptable to some players with absolutely bottom scraping standards, an inconsistent delay on top of that means that they'll never be able to get their brains to become accustomed to the delay. Just like 30fps. As long as the 30fps is consistently 30 your brain can at least adapt to the information constantly being fed to you and even if it's choppy it's at least predictably choppy which you can work with to some degree. When it inexplicably drops to 20fps your inputs are being eaten and you're making mistakes that aren't really your fault because you were expecting information or feedback you didn't get and you were given less time to re-adjust than a human can ever react to. Inconsistency is a far larger problem than straight up delay, and it's something these normans are going to need to learn for themselves.
based
The plan if the service dies is for you to kick rocks like the chump you are.
>mfw europoor and latency to US west coast is only 100ms
Hey, at least Australians get improved gaming.
that's just vanilla asscreed. shit's fubar when it comes to input latency.
Okay maybe I'm just slow, what's the deal with this?
cope more destiny 2
won what exactly? the whole idea is broken by default
>doesn't even have Skyrim
Dead on arrival
Needs a side by side.
it's more noticeable by moving one of the sticks once rapidly and repeating it
>It's not Staida it's the game.
Fucking hell then why would Staida even use it if it's so bad?
Me thinks you're full of shit.
>Pay 10 bucks per month to add input lag to games (that you have to buy)
I don't get it
>modern setups already induce multiple frames of input delay
>cloud gaming looking to double it and saddle client with visible jitter/lag as well
How many fucking idiots are going to be tricked?
Is this the future of modern gaming?
can we just go back to CRT or even improve upon the CRT model?
I see these becoming irrelevant quickly. It will go away like other game streaming shit from the past. Normies aren't going to buy it, and people that love games won't go near it. Latency and compression artifacts and needing to have a constant internet connection just makes it not worth it. Even if there wasn't 100ms+ input lag it still has issues.
You still need to buy the game you wanna try the latency with.
its a latency test
Free or $10 a month beats Geforce Now's "$25 for every 20 hours of play" by a huge margin. And Geforce Now doesn't include any games. You still have to buy them.
OLED has basically zero input lag, modern LED/LCD monitors also have basically zero input lag. It's only certain TV's you have to watch out for because some of them have bad input lag and some don't even have a game mode or low latency mode.
Who knows, maybe they'll put out a demo. Otherwise hard pass from me.
Yea Forums is usually a shitty place, but you are ok
>That engineer who just got fired for saying they need to stop forming mobs at google
It's glorious I can't wait for the company to die.
If you bought the stadia you're retarded so Google assumes you're too retarded to complain when they shut that shit down and walk away with the money
Still cheaper than buying a console or PC, paying for online and paying for electricity
Also it's free if you don't want the 4k. This will literally cut PS5 and next-Xbox sales in half because casuals who buy a console for only one or two games can now play these games without investing in a console.
Wait a moment, only a few games are covered by the 9.99/mo fee?
You pay 130 dollars to buy the stadia streaming box, then 9.99/mo to have a couple free games on rotation, then 60 bucks to actually buy and play a game? What the fuck is google thinking?
no different than what happens to your Steam games once the service dies.
>What the fuck is google thinking?
Money.
Alright Fuck this stupid thread, recommend me your FAVORITE futa doujins
You still have to buy the stadia console though. For $130 bucks plus $10 bucks a month you get a worse experience than just buying a $200 PC and running in low graphics.
You don't have to pay the $10 a month. 1080p streaming is free.
You don't have to buy any streaming box. It works on anything that can run google chrome.
If you want those games on rotation you need to pay the monthly fee
Right, but that's just the display.
There's inherent input delay in your setup as well.
Since windows has to control all the devices connected, it runs off a priority list.
Stadia will also be behind that wall.
By nature, stand-alone consoles are the only thing that could be configured to eliminate delay, but even those have a home screen buffered in the background, constantly processing/looking for online activity, etc.
Stadia wants to put you behind a wall of ping as well; why would you want even more delay than we've already got?
Stop being an idiot. Google Stadia hardware is equivalent to a ~$800 PC. Doesn't cost $10 a month and you don't have to buys the console. It almost certainly streams to the device you are using right now to shitpost here
the shilling for this is gonna be extreme.
stadia is on my chink phone?
>1080p streaming is free
Its "free" but it doesnt come with any game nor features any free game rotation.
You can install the storefront that supports up to 1080p, but you still needs to buy a game before playing.
Imagine if steam had no free games or demos, it would be like that. You can make an account for free, but you cant do jackshit with it
>you don't have to buys the console
Pajeet, just stop.
Yea Forums hates Stadia and no amount of shilling will change that.
And the better the graphics look, the more inherent input delay you're going to get; there are more calculations involved to display the image, adding more visual delay.
There's simply no way around it.
Throwing additional processing power at it just makes the situation more tolerable, it can never truly eliminate delay.
Just look at how your FPS varies in a single game by looking at different areas, or drops during intensive action.
Not only is this immersion-breaking, but it also has visual delay consequences.
Imagine how mad people will be when they buy games for this shit and Google closes it down in 2 years due to low business.
An $800 PC doesn't lag like you're swimming in molasses, that's much more serious an issue than muh graphics.
>At launch, if you’re a Stadia user, you can play Stadia exclusively on Pixel 3 and 3a devices. However, you’ll be able to create your account and make subscription and game purchases from any Android M+ or iOS 11+ device that has access to the Stadia app.
Depends on how far you are from the nearest server.
>35Mbps
>4k
With what, a one second input delay at 20kb bitrate?
>It works on anything that can run google chrome.
Not all devices can uncompress and play 4k video that quickly, and its added latency.
I have mibox thats one of the best streaming devices around and it still needs some time (about half a second) to buffer a 4k video
So I get to keep them all? Proofs?
You can play Steam games offline
This, people underestimate the processing cost of playing 4k video on a small cheap device.
>streaming video games
only a completely soulless corporate husk could possibly accept this. that's why it's so awful, because there are so many of those
Steam just sells you games.
Stadia also provides you with the hardware to play the game.
compression artifacts out the ass
DOA
Streamlets stay cvcked
>the “I bone you” shirt on Xbox
Such stupid joke. I love you.
>Features
>Buy games whenever you want: Yes
Kek. Get your asses ready because google its going to make getting games whenever you want and optional feature eventually.
You can not get into offline mode without being online first. If Steam gets shut down your games will only work on the computer you currently have them installed on. No way to install your games on another PC.
Except for the hardware you have to purchase.
Windows, other OS's, and console OS's take at most 1-2ms of lag away from a game. It's really not even worth noting as your other hardware like your GPU rendering the image takes more than that and the game itself creates its own input lag even if it's only one frame, also many console and some PC games force vsync which adds 16ms of lag at 60hz. Having a monitor with 3-9ms of actual input lag isn't going to make a dent when at best a games native responsiveness is already at like 30-40ms behind the input. It only becomes a real problem when you double or triple that 30-40ms again which is what a bad TV or Stadia will most certainly do.
>provides you with the hardware to play the game.
>"Play" the game
>With 0.25s+ latency
>"""""Play"""""
Stadia offers a all-around worse experience for more money
Valve reserves the right to end your subscription when they shut down the service.
They don't do this for fun.
Then that's a bummer. At least most of the games have Steamwork cracks
>$500 hardware plus game price
>free streaming to plus game price
which one is cheaper?
It's fucking pride month and Stadia is the gayest shit I've seen recently.
Google is getting 1/10 second of lag under their optimal conditions.
Stadia is going to be a train wreck.
can i play bloodborne on it
>streaming device
>you have to BUY THE GAME
What the FUCK were they thinking? The only reason why Netflix is as huge as it is today is that its a flat monthly fee and the movies are part of the service. They took the single advantage and fucking ruined it.
>Google Stadia
>still have to buy games
Wasn't that the whole fucking point? 9.99/mo adds up to the cost of a console faster than new consoles come out. And I assume you can't play any Xbox or PS exclusives.
That's why the only good option is buying physical copy with steam activation code.
Isn't it generally considered legal to download games that you've purchased?
So you could "pirate" the games legally.
>do a speed test that tells you if your connection is good enough for stadia
>unlike every other speed test it doesn't tell you what your latency was
...
>Steaming
It’s fucking cancer
>buy games whenever you want as a selling point
>1080p 60fps when even consoles are able to get 4k now
You are sending a fucking ping request, not a stream of 4k footage
You dense motherfucker.
>another move towards 'subscription-you-don't-own-shit' service
Hopefully this massive flop is the straw that broke the camel’s back
Expect massive layoffs from google in the future
>Buy
>>People will be abandoning chrome massively
give me the redpill
>>There's probably going to be a huge backlash over google censoring people on youtube (legitimate censorship, literally Soviet Union tier)
>Until we use active lasers or some shit for internet connection, we aren't going to be able to improve ping much
If repeaters are not accounted for, copper wire and optical fibre already pass EM waves at ~70% of the speed of light.
It's only possible to reduce delay by ~30% more, after that you hit the physical limit.
Also, transmission delay is not a problem to begin with, since Google has a really good CDN that they've been building for 10 years.
I'm certain that >90% of the delay observed in this product is due to processing, which they can't do anything about because the games are not their IP.
Oh man I fucking hope so. Fuck that shitty company.
Google is killing ad blocking by changing the way the webRequest API works. Called Manifest V3. There was a huge backlash, and google basically said
>go fuck yourselves, you're gonna watch ads and you're gonna like it
ghacks.net
>Expect massive layoffs from google in the future
Image those SJW execs firing all remaining engineers
Not defending stadia because I think it will fail like every other streaming service has but only the Xbone x really does native 4k. Most PS4 pro games are upscaled 1440p and almost none of the """4k""" games are 60FPS. The Xbone X is also rarely 4K 60 outside of a few first party titles like Forza or Halo 5.
Why is anyone pretending this is new? We had this, it failed.
No refunds
chrome is getting rid of adblockers
They will soon block Adblocks such as Ublock Origin from working.
Either gonto chromium and stop updating, or gonto firefox or icecat.
SNES games used to have 2-3f (40ms~) input delay with CRT technology.
Modern games and remakes can have 6f or more input delay throughout the chain.
It's something that really needs to be considered profoundly by developers and the industry as a whole.
More input delay = more disconnected feel = less immersion; very simple.
Stadia wants to throw another 3f minimum at you, and that's not even considering video encoding.
In an ideal scenario you'll be directly feeling 10f input delay, nearly 200ms worth of lag.
>tech literate enough to use the command prompt
>also so tech retarded that he thinks sending a ping is comparable to streaming an executable file
I’m impressed with how goddamn stupid you are.
DUDE ITS FUCKING LAGGING
>Surround sound only in the subscription fee
This has got to be the most dumbest thing. like come on
Gold fish parading around in human bodies make up the consumers of this industry.
I'm trying out Brave.
This service isn't for Yea Forumsirgins who always buy the latest console or the latest GPU.
This service is for people who would want to play the latest GTA or Asscreed but don't feel like paying several hundred $ to buy a Playstation for the privilege.
>buy games whenever you want
damn, thanks google
Can't wait to see a bunch of faggot streamers get paid to hype this shit up.
Being able to play a game like Cities:Skyline or Project Coaster and not worry about your PC eventually tanking because your world got too big sounds fucking amazing. Any other games like this?
>This service is for
No, this service is for nobody, because nobody will have a network good enough to deal with streaming this shit.
>streaming an executable file
that's not how it works Mr. Tech Literate
>unironically uses the word privilege
im sorry, you seem lost. See, twatter is that way
Why do they ALL have dicks? I swear this place is gayer than lgbtqitbrap sometimes
stop posting my wife nigger.
No way fag
Some of us do live in civilised countries.
>i need to buy my games to stream them
ah
future
Here have some tiddies to de-gay yourself user
It doesn't matter if you live in a country with terabytes of bandwidth, shit still needs to travel you fucking pin head.
That's a fair point, but we're also on the verge of a new generation of consoles, and it's almost guaranteed they'll be able to run games at 4k 60fps.
this is how I played Alpha Protocol on the PS Streaming shit a few years back. Shit was horrible. No clue why this service is even a footnote considering how garbage the idea is.
Haven't checked the legislation in 10 years, but usually it's the sharing that's illegal.
Even if you own the game, you still can't copy it for others. Not that you "own" Steam games anyway.
Basically the only longevity with Steam is Gaben's promise on some forum post that your games will be available for download before his company shuts down for good.
user is
why even waste your time with this retarded low effort bait post
>Using privileged
>Fucking ever
I will RKO you straight to hell
that's just a pipe dream, fag. Consoles will never hit that level of quality, simply because manufacturing them en masse would become too expensive
How the fuck is 4k 60fps going to work on 35mbs internet?
There is no fucking way unless it is full of lag and heaps and HEAPS of compression
>It's ma'am
that is old as fuck and was made to make fun of onlive
I'd rather play my games at about 60fps. Would be nice if I didn't already have a computer and consoles for exclusives.
>people were expecting a subscription model that lets you play games for as long as you pay
>you actually have to buy games on top of paying monthly
OH NO NO NO NO
bigger
>censored
nice
>Still believing in relativity
Light travels instantly, kike scientists are lying to you.
Downloading a game, ANY game, is not illegal not is it copyright infringement.
Playing the game without a license is copyright infringement
Distributing the game without a license is XTREME copyright infringement and is what gets people fucked
>light travels instantly
why do you need GTX 9000 and 600TB of ram if you gonna stream your video games?
We do know next gen console specs. (Same sort of spec as the Stadia hardware)
~6-8 times the computational power of PS4/Xbone. Can certainly run games with PS4/Xbone graphics details at 4k.
gifs that are captioned, but the gif doesn't loop the whole way through what is captioned pisses me off. This doesn't have a caption, but this is a poorly compressed gif and it pisses me off because it doesn't loop the whole thing
spyware.neocities.org
Brave has analytics and shit. Its because this browser is made by the same guy who made adblock plus which was whitelisting advertisers who payed him to.
You are really stuck with palemoon or chromium
light speed isn't the limiting factor here. 1000 miles of obtical fibre cable is ~8ms delay. That's half a frame at 60fps.
>Brave has analytics
Fuck. I guess I'll check out chromium, but isn't that going to adopt manifest v3 also?
I think that unlike chrome, you can block updates on chromium
>nearly 200ms worth of lag
If that's the real math of how much Stadia lags then I don't know how the fuck even normies wouldn't start to notice their controls feeling like molasses coated ass.
You'll grow up one day, kid.
I’m almost certain 90% of the money made from ps now is one time purchases, as in someone pays a month and then cancels immediately after.
you’re actually autistic if you feel any difference between input lag in SNES games and modern computer titles. no one complains about it because it’s so easyto be conditioned towards
>inb4 “human eye only sees 30 fps”
input delay is an issue, yeah, but not to the degree this makes it seem. there’s input lag between your muscles and your brain
input lag is only not an issue if you've never played games with low latency
cope google nog
This shit will only work when every household is connected with optic fiber and even then inside the houses with wifi and copper wiring the latency will make any action relfex-heavy game like 2D fighters and fast-paced fps unplayable.
I can do more with a standalone pc, and it doesn't eat my bandwidth like a fat kid eats cake
The lag's that bad with almost nobody using it. Imagine a new game dropping.
They advertised it as the Netflix of gaming, but apparently not. Why not a fixed subscription price and free access to the entire library? Fucking Microsoft already do it on the Xbox.
>light travels instantly
>which is why it takes minutes for instructions via light to reach probes on mars
Yeah, no... Nothing travels instantly.
>he thinks we deliver information at true light
>"""free"""
If light has a fixed travel speed...
Why not use darkness instead?
Think of it, the places the light needs to reach are already filled with darkness.
Yeah, and now it’s being used to make fun of google
>buy game whenever I want is somehow a fucking feature
>60FPS limit
Absolute garbage, I unironically hope Google gets truck-bombed.
It's an issue for all games, especially shooters and platformers.
I'd much rather sacrifice a tiny bit of visual flair to gain a few frames of responsiveness.
People don't complain because There Is No Alternative unless you exclusively play retro titles on original hardware.
Anything over 5-6f delay (@60fps) should be unacceptable to the community, and we should be aiming to LOWER that number in the future.
Stadia demos have shown 166ms (10 frames) in ideal simulated lag conditions. Please check Live data before buying into this. Please post back on how laggy the experience felt for you after launch.
My private tinfoil conspiracy theory about this is that
>Stadia is an intentional flop
>People whine and bitch at how shitty a service it is
>Google says "it's your connection, bro, the service itself works perfectly"
>People say almost no one has both low latency and no datacaps
>Google aggressively expands and advertises its GoogleFiber service, which currently only has as a complaint that it's not available to enough people
>They push the fiber, get hailed as the next coming of jesus by retarded basedboys and make money back on the Stadia shitfest
>maybe some extra retarded people even subscribe back into it after getting Google fiber, because of sheer stockholm's and google gets 2 subscriptions out of some and 1 out of most people.
>Stadia was just advertising from an advertising company
This user might be on to something.
Any sciencefags around to confirm or deconfirm the speed of dark?
It's not a good test because 8.8.8.8 is anycasted to pretty much every major IXP on the planet. You will get a better test by trying to get to Google Cloud
>166ms
no wonder they're banning everyone on YT they're pissed about this one haha
God, I fucking hate shills. Die already
>additional free games
>but only if you pay
>free
>pay
>they bundle free stadia in with your subscription to google fiber
Actually brilliant
>GoogleFiber
Google is rapidly abandoning Google Fiber, they completely pulled out of Louisville 4 months ago
Input lag matters more depending on what genre you play. Playing mostly rhythm games and fighters I can be pretty sensitive to that shit.
That said the worst part about stadia is not going to be the input lag itself but rather that I fully expect inconsistent input lag. SFV has bad input lag but it was so much worse when the delay was varaible and went up and down throughout a match.
It's the same here unless you like 1-2 free games a month.
>there is a such thing as fake light
Wtf are we communicating with? Are we secretly shooting white crayons for instructions or something? That seems very dangerous...
I would be fine with that if it put pressure on cable companies to actually improve their services.
As it stands though google fiber can't even expand anywhere due to roadblocks from mostly at&t.
>rapidly abandoning
They abandoned Google Fiber before they installed anything. They flat out said that they had no intention to create and sustain it but rather they wanted to push the need onto other companies and hopefully get someone to take over where they started.
This was well worth the 2.68MB
Someone link me that stadia speedtest
Yeah but mods and workshop content are what make something like Skylines great. I'm not sure how that would work on Stadia.
It already is. Everyone in these threads is telling them is shit but they drone on because they are paid to shill this garbage.
Must be depressing being reminded by every single non-shill on earth just how shitty is the crap they are pushing lol.
It will happen just like with every new generation. They don't know any better and will just suck it up.
Yup. The Yea Forums butthurt just cements it. A Fortnite box every parent can get for their kid. How many users do you think staidia is going to have by next year lads? I’m thinking 20 million.
It is NPCs we are talking about tho. They'll probably forget about what they bought in like a week.
What makes you think it won't tank? Streaming isn't magic. Servers generally have several dozen cores each with lower single core performance.
It will feel like playing on an TV. Sorry Yea Forums. You lost.
lmao
be thankful if you get artifacts numbers, shill
So google only has to change the law to make low latency gaming illegal...
I JUST CAN'T SEE ANY REPLIES
THERE ARE 192 REPLIES BUT THERE'S NOTHING THERE
How retarded do you have to be to even think this? Honest question.
>Ass Creed has a delay in itself
>Using a fucking F310 or whatever
That controller has the worst input delay of any wired controller on the market. That's not a fair test.
Yeah that’s why console gamers playing on Home Entertainment Screens died out in the mid 90s
I'll check it out. Why not?
He's right though, the additional input delay should feel similar to playing on a laggy non-gaming hdtv.
assuming no jitter, which there will be
That’s what all the reviews say and the specs match. PC gaming isn’t your sekrit club anymore. cry moar.
He is paid to say that. He would say the sun is green without even the slightest hint of shame.
I can see the bright future of Stadia
This level of cope should be possible.
Not like Stadia would help the situation any then
>b-but my 2800 dollar gaming rig. I thought I was joining the PC master race. How can all these NPCs play PC games too??
I love seeing Yea Forums eat shit.
Ah yes the paragons of honesty and integrity that are video game journalists. Surely we should trust them and not the input lag you can visibly see without slow motion demonstrated at their demo booth, which was under ideal conditions and was phisically close to the server running the games.
Then why isn't Google using something better then.
>166ms
how can Yea Forumsincels compete
>Stadia also provides you with the hardware to play the game.
>provides
The word is "sells," user. It sells hardware. They're not just handing it out for free.
people don't have four arms you pleb
Yes, yes shill. Cope, seethe, tranny and all that. You sure are blending in beatifully with your 2 minutes course on anonymoose and totally inconspicuous 300 simultaneous threads.
Yes, here comes the seething. I love it.
Funny because that is going to be your primary source of food once google gets broken apart and close their gaming division, shill.
So when are they going to add advertisements to the games?
No you don't. You hate is being here but you get 5 bucks/hour.
>people only taking into consideration the latency of signals being sent from stadia to the server
>they are not even considering how bad it will be if you add human reaction time
archive.fo
Well, for that to happen, Stadia must have a huge demand.
If Steam shuts down, they'll likely(though not 100% sure) set up a way to disable all the DRM on all their games in the weeks preceding final shutdown and give warning to download and back up/burn what you want to keep. Or sell their massive data to GoG or someone similar to take it over.
You'd have to be more retarded than the faggots that scream MODS MODS MODS over every little thing to think Steam is just going to up and disappear with no warning one day, short of world war 3 nukes, but at that point, being able to play your Steam library is the least of your worries because you'll be playing Fallout 3 IRL.
It works in a browser. No need for special hardware
Isn't google pretty widely hated?
>Giving away Destiny 2 when it literally just got announced as a free to play game today
ha
When they are bleeding money and going bankrupt they will surely let you download terabytes of data for free.
Oh wait. They won't. They could go to prison for doing that.
kill yourself, shill
Steam doesn't require "special hardware" either, user. Comes with its own browser, in fact, not that it needs it for gameplay.
No I come here for my generals, which are full of great discussion of my favorite games. I love coming back to the main board and seeing Yea Forums get btfo.
This was during their initial reveal and had servers set up onsite
What's your average reaction time, Yea Forums? If it's over 300ms you have no right to complain about MUH INPUT LAG when you're slow as shit to begin with.
lmao off yourself shill
Thanks.
>epic threads start to decrease
>suddenly stadia threads starts to increase
kek
Yes, yes. Of course you do, shill.
Steam requires a gaming pc user. You know, that machine that you wasted as a used car’s worth of cash on that streaming is making increasingly obsolete.
Own less, pay more
>The average human reaction time, is on the order of a quarter of a second (250 milliseconds)
But user, I can get under 200 and thats including display and input lag from my setup.
Human reaction times are much lower than the methods we use to record them.
>we're going to make our competing browser unable to run adblockers
>this will surely draw people away from firefox and fucking internet explorer
nobody at google could be that retarded. nobody with a job who has used the internet for more than 10 minutes in the last 10 fucking years could think this was a good idea without suffering a brain hemorrhage.
Destiny 2 went F2P?
Their playerbase must have been fucking abysmal it probably still is
...
>$9.99 per month
> $119.88 per year
What the fuck, even PSN+ is a better value.
I don't understand why people are thinking the Stadia will be successful? Were they not around during the Xbox One launch scandal? They act like the industry will always just swallow whatever shit is shoved down their throats, but that's clearly not true, considering Microsoft back then touted online only digital only games as the future, and nobody accepted. What has changed since then?
First attempt was 310ms, second was 260ms and third was 219ms
By the way, this has nothing to do with input lag, it's going to affect everyone in the same amount
It's almost like the same shitposters make the threads because they know Yea Forums will get mad over it
Literally FOTM bait threads
This will officially kill vidya
go home Dredgen Yor.
>that machine that you wasted as a used car’s worth of cash
kek no wonder you're in favor of streaming games.
this but unironically
Idiots who love Chrome for some reason will stick with it and provide Google with more ad money
They just want to sell dlc
If Google fuck up the competition, they create a vacuum for a new browser to fill. People would donate millions to not have to see ads.
Nobody:
Not one person:
Not a single motherfucking soul on the planet:
Yea Forums: LATENCY WILL KILL STADIA!!!
You guys are ment to wait before shilling. Not shill all at once. I hope you don't get payed for that
Google income is mostly ads. They dont care thar much if people will stop using chrome, as it doesnt bring any money directly.
>mommy mommy! Please buy a new computer so I can play fortnite. Everyone at school is playing it and they are making fun of me because I can’t!
I’m sorry little Thanos, but mommy and daddy already spent the entertainment budget in funko pops and we can’t afford a gaming rig.
>mommy you can get google stadia it’s only 10 dollars a month. Please mommy I need play fortnite.
Face it. Google won.
STADIA
IS
NOT
A
FUCKING
CONSOLE.
It will though. It will be multiple seconds of latency at launch
Screencap this
Fortnite is not on Stadia as far as I know
>r*dd*t """memes"""
>mommy mommy the stadia has 166ms and 5G gave me cancer!
>thats it im suing google
>mommy mommy google was dismantled by Trump at the end of 2019
BUT THE HUMAN EAR CAN'T MUNCH PAST 30 ODORS PER NANOLITER!!!!!
Yeah, it's something even worse
I'm amazed they managed to make something worse
Really fucked up unrealistic analogy, let me fix that for you:
>child plays Fortnite on PS4, or Xbox One
>manchild plays Fortnite on the go on Switch
There we go. What child plays Fortnite on a computer?
so the plan is to crash their own browser as hard as possible, creating a power vaccuum for a competitor to be donated to? why? they already put all the work into making the browser work in the first place, why run it into the ground?
on topic: streaming videogames will never be viable, it's for non-interactive mediums and mediums where your latency is essentially irrelevant. you'd need a serverfarm right outside your fucking house and it still wouldn't be fast enough for certain genres, it's confusing that they're even attempting this whole thing instead of just making their own console or VR tech.
283 but I've also been drinking.
>Google trying to push le streaming meme
>Local rural internet wants to change billing structure to $20 a month PLUS 20cents a GB
What do they mean by this?
>60fps only
>4K only if you pay
>"""free""" games only if you pay
>$800 PC
>4k
that for confirming that its a laggy and choppy piece of shit
>PC has children
>They try, but do not live up to their parents expectations. They always try, but are always disappointing.
>PC's disappointing children grow up one day and having children
>They are deformed, mutated, mentally handicapped freaks of nature
Its like a casualization, of a casualization, of a casualization. Like a chinese bootleg copy of a Taiwanese bootleg copy of a Korean bootleg copy of Pokemon Red, so transformed you can barely read the text boxes and can barely even be played at all.
You realize that is regular latency for a console right you fucking retard?
It isn't.
input lag for streamed games is like 20ms, you retards can try this shit with psnow.
it super isn't, fighting games would literally not exist on the console if it had 100ms input lag, it's closer to 15, more like 5 with a wired controller.
>60fps cap
>fuckhueg latency
Into the trash it goes
You realize that it's additive right? People with bad reaction times will have a worse experience, not better. It's not like by being slow you're somehow skipping the input delay you mental midget.
>only tweets they are letting through is people saying they bought it
Just proved me right, the latency isn't comparable at all.
Why do you have to pay per GB when the sites you get your data from are already paying per GB?
so is the gym, fatty. Go workout
70-134 ms of input lag is the range for fighting games you absolute retard. For other genres it is typically even higher.
Reminder to pour thermite on your local 5G towers or shoot the transformer
>get game latency ON TOP OF the irregular 166ms+ of stadia
OH NO NO NO NOOOOOOOO AHAHAHAAAA
>70-134 ms of input lag is the range for fighting games
Let me fix that for you
>70-134 ms of input lag is the range for bad shitty fighting games that do not count
There we go~
your microwave is worse than 5g you fucking brainlet
You do realize that the latency measurements were from controller input to movement on screen... right?
Forgot the added latency from Stadia's controller fuck ups. Now you get why this is worse?
Only for trash fighting games like Street Fighter 5
And with streaming the latency will more than double
based
Quick, give me a game idea that will take advantage and make fun of the latency so I can release it on stadia.
>people streaming on their high input lag, high response rate blurry Wal-Mart tv's
>with the added network latency from the service itself, their wifi router and their wireless controller
user, pretty much every fighting game or even shooter, action, adventure, etc. you can think of is 50-150 ms...
There are two measurements of latency going on idiot.
1. Latency from Controller to Stadia.
2. Latency from Stadia to screen.
So tell me another one. Which latency are you saying isn't so bad so I can kick your fucking ass with the other one.
>is the range for bad shitty fighting games
so all of them?
But its not. Its clearly not, and you are clearly lying.
What's the latency for stadia?
>Shit was horrible
Are you sure it wasn't just because you were playing Alpha Protocol?
*$9.99/mo +tax +tip +GAMES
Which latency are you talking about?
Nothing so far has shown Stadia input lag to be substantially higher than current gen consoles.
Also the input lag from consoles is mostly from this generation of consoles, there are many examples of games that have 20-30+ ms lower input lag on last gen consoles.
you can't shill effectively if you quote two contrarian posts and say they're both lying. please report yourself to your boss.
>You have to pay for games as well
Wait what? Whats the fucking point then
Anything that requires quick reflexes to progress should work
>here is a site with extremely in-depth procedures for measuring input lag as accurately as humanly possible with high FPS slowed down footage to prove it
>nuh uh you're wrong!
>Nothing so far has shown Stadia input lag to be substantially higher than current gen consoles.
except for actual hands on impressions you faggot shill
Again, you are just spewing common damage control phrases, you are actually reading and thinking about it. Yes Stadia has normal latency from Stadia to screen, but you are NOT accounting for the second latency source that stacks on top of that. You falsely only tout one source while ignoring the other.
Are you literally implying there is as much input delay between a console and a wired controller as there is between your connection to googles servers and back?
I was telling the idiot saying the Stadia has normal latency that according to that other user it doesn't. Which is true, Stadia latency is bad. Really fucking bad.

>Stadia
>not even once
This is why games being sold as a service is a fucking joke.
If you don't invest in a physical you are literally screwing yourself over.
>Buy games whenever you want: Yes
im working on a game with networking capabilities
beyond 120 ms delay it becomes unplayable, its gonna be even worse
I keep hearing the term "games as a service" by these faggy corps but what does that mean exactly? I honestly don't get it, you buy the game, then play it. How do you stretch for a service out of it? Isn't the service buying the fucking game and maybe the console with it? I really don't get it, i truly don't understand.
>doesnt know how a microwave works
ever notice that black, metal grid inside of microwave doors?
Apparently you can put "as a service" for anything. Google shills, for example, offer shitposting as a service
you obviously have a point, but percentage wise the input lag is not as bad if your "brain input lag" is higher than usual, thats the point he was trying to make
naturally a smaller input lag is still better and people with small reaction times would also definitely notice the difference, especially for anything apart from fighting games or fps, since the delay feels the same for everyone
Mutliplayers games might as well be a service since all the content is reliant on servers to be running to even be accessed most the time. Think of For Honor or something like that.
It doesn't work that way. latency + reaction time is worse than reaction time alone.
I'm curious.
Give me exact numbers button to pixel of input lag or shut the fuck up
It has nothing to do with controller. Modern consoles have a huge amount of input lag over retro consoles and PC gaming. Most have 50-150 ms of input lag. For example, the Megaman X Legacy Collection on SNES has 47ms of input lag, on a Super NT has 47.5ms of input lag, while on PS4 the input lag is a whopping 132.8ms of input lag (youtube.com
?
It has separate measures for display lag and for individual game lag.The lag from a controller, even a wireless is only like
good enough for all the movie experiences normalfags play
31 year old boomer here. Surely some young zoomer can beat this
>so it doesnt count
actually lol'd
you die with it
Here, even retards should understand this
$120
A hundred and twenty fucking dollars a year just to play games online
How are you guys okay with this?
eh, steams just pretty chill
theres still a big difference between buying games and (((streaming))) them
Everyone associated with Google should have a bullet put into the back of their heads in Minecraft.
If you think about it, there's kids and people paying $100+ a month on mmos with microtransactions.
22 and fucked up
>eh, steams just pretty chill
Yeah, streams chill for about 120ms
this is 100% untrue; every setup is different and thus you're all affected by varying degrees of visual and input delay.
The best setups and players can score slightly over 100ms consistently, but you need BOTH the reaction time and a low-latency setup.
Actually it's more like
>controller
>server
>hardware
>server
>tv
I did end up getting a 188 and 189, but I averaged out at like 204.
They're exploiting what they think is the typical demographic of farming boomers that use the internet to look at facebook.
im on a low latency setup. those are my only attempts
they already pay $60 a year on their consoles so they can connect to other players
like what are you, poor? lmaoing at your poorfag ass
nice projection.
What is the point of this again? Is google just going to stream phone games?
>steam
>stream
>STEAM
Destiny 2's base game is going free forever.
All of their expansions still cost money.
I have $1.73 million in the bank right npw and you're a retard. Why would you give these kikes your money for absolute dogshit? You don't even own any of the games.
Improved version
this website is making me feel like im working in slow motion, every time i click im like
>fuck man, your finger didnt move for like a year, you could do that way better
but i cant
>should sue them
For what? what damages? Does sony have a patent on streaming games?
Occasional Smash Ultimate matches are like this. Like the whole match is consistently exactly one second behind. Really fucking weird, feels like no other lag I've experienced in a game.
Nintendo's subscription is $20 a year
PSN and XBL subs are $60 a year
This is fucking $120 a year
Stop corporate dick sucking
>Playstation should sue them.
Playstations are the kings of copying. You can't steal anything from Sony without first stealing from someone else.
Reminder:
Modern consoles have input lag ranging from 50-150ms just depending on the game. This is inherently 20-100 ms higher than PC and retro gaming consoles, depending on the individual game.
Mice/controller typically only add
I'm mostly telling you that people are irresponsible with their money. 120 is a drop in the bucket for them.
Zoomer a shit.
I'm also 31 with carpal tunnel developing.
>60 fps
No way fag
you're a fucking moron
Based and redpilled. Fake gamers eternally BTFO.
This is coming from someone who has accomplished dozens of extremely difficult feats in gaming and is in top < .5% in multiple online games: input lag doesn't fucking matter you goobers.
>implying your reaction times matter when talking about input lag
you just know its 30fps interlaced with checkboarding compression
It'll feel twice as bad as playing on TV since all these fucking normans using the stadia will be playing on a TV anyways, even if they're used to the input lag that comes with playing on a TV they'll still feel the additional input lag that comes from the Stadia
dicks aren't gay tho retard
I'm 31 next month and I got 219 ms
It's called "rent seeking." Instead of just selling you the game one time (that you can keep and play forever) and calling it a day, they sell you access to a "service" that provides the "content" on a subscription basis. You have to keep paying to keep playing. If you stop paying, you lose your access to the service and everything you got from it. Game goes "poof," leaving you with nothing, and they keep all the money you paid them.
>Can buy games is listed as a feature
This is like the 6th time I've seen this today, and it still genuinely makes me laugh
>he doesn't have a 1ms gtg, ULMB, 240hz monitor
I mean unless i'm missing something, you're not buying a console so that yearly subscription+games is all you're buying.
Not that anyone with a functioning brain should be hyped for this, but wouldn't more burderbois potentially be hyped for this if Google got off their fat asses and actually ran Google Fiber in more places that aren't bumfuck nowhere in the midwest? Like yeah I'm really in love with the idea of streaming my video games with a comcast connection ya fuckin idiots
GTG is not input lag you absolute moron.
It's literally just marketing speak. Meanwhile you have 50 ms of input lag from your kb because you also bought into mechanical keyboard marketing speak.
just hilarious how gullible people are without doing any of their own research.
there are stadia shills itt
why.jpg
most here are educated on vidya, your bullshit wont fly here
>tfw Ive never heard of this before this thread
You forgot you can buy them whenever you want
that's right
>stream from my PC within my own home network over a wired connection
>latency is still unacceptable for anything other than turn based games
Literally why is anyone trying to push this?
Stadia dies, games and saves lost forever
Steam/other download services, dies, can still pirate the game and keep your saves and can mod
>Destiny 2 is supposed to sell us on this
OH NO NO NO NO I DROPPED THAT PIECE OF SHIT AFTER LIKE TWO HOURS WHEN IT WAS GIVEN AWAY FOR FREE
fosho my niggle
>>/lgbt/
user...
Stoned 30 year old boomer here.
even without the ad block stuff, there are several browsers that are faster than chrome now, while using less resources. chrome eats a shit ton of ram and the way it splits processes can crash other intensive programs if they run at the same time (at least anecdotally I've seen that happen with many people.)
Inb4 phone poster
>Literally why is anyone trying to push this?
Imagine spending lots of money and time on something you thought would be a good idea at the time but then when it was time to release that good idea it wasn't such a good idea.
You could either abandon the whole thing or try and make a quick cash grab before the whole thing turned upside down.
Youd do things like disable comments on your media to hide criticism from those who know better and youd also get people to shut down any public discussion of shit product by shilling for you.
Youd target those who didnt know all the bad things about your product like mum and dads with kids
fucking maggots man
>implying youre no longer able to click your mouse as fast as before because you have developing capal tunnel lmao
What 3rd world country do you live in that charges tax on downloaded games?
New York
desu its not a terrible idea for a lot of single player games
casual gamers will fucking love this
it just wont work online i think
for rpgs and shit i feel like your brain is able to compensate for the additional input lag
>Google won
LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOO
This. Using steam link makes some retro platformers more difficulty than when I just play them directly (like the last boss in Mysitcal Ninja where you have to do a frame perfect jump to dodge over his attacks). I can't imagine streaming it over the internet even with fiber internet.
60 fps means it can't be faster than 15 ms at the fastest
inb4 doesn't make sense for your own posts, dumb phoneposter.
me 5 drinks in
I have shit reaction time, idk how I got this score.
the time it takes to press a button isnt input lag you stupid fucking shill
>anything above 200
>some people unironically bragging about 300s
retard, subhuman tier
>average time lower than last time
wow there, subtle sonic
BASED
>400ms depending on genre then is pretty much irrelevant
fucking hell man
But GGXrd and T7 have about 35-40 ms with monitor delay and about 25-30 without it according to that database. Stadia is about three times worse.
>user count
>phone gaming
>thisisit.jpeg
>didn't effect games because casuals aren't gamers

>latency kills it since the only people(-casuals) with good internet wouldn't buy this
Gaming is over. Pack it up.
>$800 PC
>still comparing this shit to consoles
stop shilling lmfao
How are you guys getting so low scores?
t. Has never played with uncompinsated input lag
Here's a tip, all those online games you play have no actual input lag, they render and display your inputs locally and use predictive tech to guess where you're going to go so the other players can still see and shoot you even though they haven't received the actual inputs from you for that point in time. I have played games that don't do that. WWE2K14, to be precise. I was wresting on an episode of VGCW Arena, it was a ladder match, I was Katia. 2K games are so shit and so cheap they had no compensation and it was like trying to wrestle in a bowl of honey. The match took forever because it takes a quick time event to pull down the case and win and no one could get the timing right with that amount of delay. It was an absolute shitshow and not something I'd recommend to anyone. And every stadia game will play just like that.
>I just dilate during lags
>It's OnLive all over again
It's DOA inside the first year, guaranteed
>press button
>action happens
i see no problem here
I can't wait for the day 1 server catastrophe like every other always-online thing.
I can hear it now: "We severely underestimated how many of you would play! Were doing everything to get back online!" And no matter how much money they throw at it the servers continue to drop for the next two weeks by which time everyone has moved on.
Control, obviously.
>If it's over 300ms you have no right to complain about MUH INPUT LAG when you're slow as shit to begin with.
If it's over 300ms you have literally ALL the right to complain. If you're slow you don't need latency issues to fuck you over on top of that
>41
>296ms
I feel special.
Imagine wanting to play a game but instead of downloading the binaries you download images of every single fucking frame of the game for the entirety of your gameplay.
l m a o
LMFAO, fucking retard thinks he's smart or some shit?
It won't be an issue for them because even the normalfags aren't interested this time.
No. Not the same. A game has context and you can preset reactions accordingly. This "test" is just a color switching with no warning at a semi-random interval. Not a comparable test.
>hey bro just pay me a monthly fee if you want your games to be HD
>your brain is able to compensate for the additional input lag
The delay is inconsistent. It varies form 80 to 120 all the time - a brain would not help with that kind of thing. A stable delay of any amount is what could be compensated.
>214 avg
>even got one under 200ms
SO then Stadia will have the inherent input lag PLUS the streaming input lag? Bloody hell
>Paying for a discount
so this is it, huh?
this is what finally unites Yea Forums.
All the shitposting and console wars and complaining about Nintendo and Sony and PC and Microsoft will all end because of how much we all hate google?
what if they are secretly working with Elon Musk and his Starlink project so everyone everywhere on earth could play stadia with a high conection and almost no latency
Question!
Is Stadia a good choice if I want to play pc games but don't want to spend a lot of money on a new pc?
To be clear, I have no problem saving up a $600 rig, but I like to know my options first.
>$10 a month
>$120 a year
>afford
I'm going to guess you have a very small nose and at some point in your life considered
>pic related

;_;
>Is Stadia a good choice
No, it's the worst choice.
>comments are disabled
ahahaha
Goolag knows its days are numbered
But the dicks are on chicks???
Wait are you saying I can buy games whenever I want!? This is a game changer.
It's not about reacting, it's about the time it takes for your physical input to register on the screen. It's quite simple sweetie, the Stadia latency has got to be smaller than local hardware latency for it to matter on the competitive scene, that's the point. Hell even the PS4 has gotten massive shit over it's latency hence why games like Tekken had deep code alterations in UE4 to try and negate this.
>comments disabled
>tweets deleted
>google can't delete shame on Yea Forums so they send in the shills to defend their garbage
o i am laffin
Might be a better investment to buy some fine rope for even entertaining Shitdia
Save an extra 200 bucks and build a competent rig. You'll be paying out your asshole in data from Comcast every month so you might as well just do a one-time payment up front for the PC.
A $600 rig is good enough to play whatever you want at decent graphics so long as you don't get scammed by the shop. Stadia will provide better graphics but compress them for transport and add painful amounts of input lag, and worse inconsistent input lag, that will make it near impossible to play any game besides turn based strategy.
But in the end it's your choice.
Buy a 1080 and not have to worry about running a game for the next decade
PC masterrace
I see. Thanks for the input.
By the way, which build should I be looking for if I want to do emulation and online gaming?
Go ahead and ask any non online workmates, friends, or whatever if they're even aware of the stadia existing
>what's a switch?
>By the way, which build should I be looking for if I want to do emulation and online gaming?
The build that punches you in the balls every time you have a thought about using Stadia.
after playing geforce now and google's beta test with asscreed, streaming games is a massive joke with a mouse. With a controller it's somewhat acceptable.
I don't see how anyone who actually enjoys games would like this unless you lived right next door to the location of the boxes
>Modern consoles have input lag ranging from 50-150ms just depending on the game
Here's a question, why does the PS4 hardware have input lag?
>It has separate measures for display lag
Not the lag I am talking about.
>and for individual game lag
Not the lag I am talking about.
>The lag from a controller, even a wireless is only like I will now damage control wireless controller latency, even though it isn't a big deal
Fucking why then? Why do people complain about it if its not a big deal? Why does it bother you that people are bothered by wireless controller latency if its such a non-issue to you? You tend to drone on the hardest on the issues you constantly say don't matter. I cannot tell if you are a hypocrite, a contrarian, a hipster, or some weird mix of all three. Or maybe you are just a lawyer.
180 last I checked.
Problem is latency/jitter on the user's end. Especially when you have 50 other people in your apartment using their wifi alongside you.
> 129 for console
> 120 for year subscription

The fug? My steamlink averages like 17ms.
Jitter you hand left and right while you click to keep it active. If you just keep your hand in a completely neutral position you'll always have a higher delay in clicking.
Do they not know why Ouya failed?
Do they not know why the Steam console failed?
Guess google doesn't care since they have so much money already.
Stay mad
2000 for an equivalent PC
Is Chromium a good browser faster than Chrome. I've been having an issue with Chrome being unresponsive after having about a dozen or two tabs open that has forced me to restart it each time.
>Hello mr. Yea Forumseddit. We're happy to have you our board here at Blockbuster. We know that you were CTO at Sears before, before Amazon caused thier business to close down all those stores. We know that was unforeseeable. Now, we let's return to the matters at hand... one of our technology consultants was telling us about "digital streamin---"
You can stop right there. Digital streaming is never going to take off. Nobody is going to want to stream a movie at low resolution, deal with network interruptions, datacaps and a limited selection of titles. It's a joke.
>But Mr. Yea Forumseddit, market research indicate--
With all due respect, Mr... what was your name? Don't ever mention streaming to me again.
>but Yea Forumseddit-sama, streaming...
Stop. I'm going to need to you clear at your desk.
These shills, they're unbelievable. Now, for an Old Fashioned. Ah... 1958 oak barrel...
not to be rude but from the sounds of it, a prebuilt
or, spend some time shopping around looking at parts that fit in your price range, build a pc on pcpartpicker and then research the parts after to make sure they are good.
emulation is CPU heavy. intel is better for raw performance per core, but is expensive. amd is on the rise, cheaper CPUs that focus on multithreading. so intel if you want to have it shread singular processes (like emulation) or an AMD if you want to be able to stream and game or game and do other shit. it all depends.
R U OK?
I like how you call the person Mr. Yea Forumseddit to imply he's wrong about anything, and pretend the people who're pushing for stadia aren't also the people who bankrupted Sears
>streaming a movie is the same as streaming something you need literally constant input for
Not mad, just dissapointed
Even if you have a high 300mb/s internet speed, your ISP can still shit the bed when it comes to ping and you could be dealing with extra lag when playing adding extra frames of delay and making fighting games, rhythm games and even action games a shitshow to play
what kinda setup tho?
