Personally, I'd like 2 separate but intertwining campaigns one where you play as godzilla and one where you play as a human during the godzilla invasion. Maybe the protag could be a washed up, depressed and/or divorced reporter with nothing to lose so they chase godzilla for research and fame purposes

I got an idea.
A remake of the NES game, but completely overhauled to be a pseudo-fighting game.
Story is the same as the first, however after defeating Ghidorah, the Xiliens escape and begin attacking Earth from far away, leading to a second story arc where you fight reanimated corpses of the previous monsters as well as new ones, and an upgraded Mechagodzilla. Final boss is Keizer Ghidorah.
Mothra completely changed to actually be worth using.
Rodan and Anguirus playable in the second arc.
Rodan sacrifices himself in the final level of the second arc to grant Godzilla the Red Spiral Ray, is replaced with M.O.G.U.E.R.A, after the humans built the armor around the original Moguera.
A brand new fan made monster that acts as sort of a rival that you fight every two levels in the first arc before he joins you for the fight against Ghidorah on Pluto. In the second arc he's absent, until he's revealed to be under the Xilien's control in the final level. He jumps you right as your about to fight Keizer Ghidorah.

A godzilla kaiju multiplayer game (or sp also possible with AI)
Team of humans and team of Kaijus
There's basically a huge cityscape map with a police headquarters in the center. This is the humans base. Meanwhile there's all sorts of defense set up around the whole perimeter of the city like bunkers and turrets and shit with more people. The kaijus will be defeatable but will be vastly strong and able to probably kill anything human in 2 if not 1 hit. The humans have to try to kill it by pouring wave after wave of attacks and reinforcements on the defensive points to eventually whittle down the kaiju and defeat their team.
Each kaiju player will have control of one kaiju, godzilla, mothra, king ghidorah etc and the humans will get to play as a unique hero commander who has their own squadron to move around and attack defend as they see fit. With enough advancement and research they can even hire scvs to build more bunkers (or turrets for mothra) and defend even harder.
The kaiju team loses if they all die, the humans lose if all commanders die or the entire police HQ is destroyed.

Honestly I just want a good looking city with a great physics engine so the buildings topple and they have a weight to them, talking footprints left in the earth. Guest characters including but not limited too : Eva unit 1 and 2, ultraman, Gamera, Optimus prime, and gaogaigar.
But there would have to be more substance than that, so, I'm thinking a campaign where you play as humans and do something similar to advance wars where you have to take down a monster or something. A destruction simulator and a strategy RPG, it would never happen, but a man can dream.

Abe himself seemed completely blinded to the movie, calling it a nationalism piece and while he's kinda right it's not in the sense that the thinks.
The whole movie has Godzilla blowing down corporate buildings and politicians and everytime they try and use their weapon might on the thing it just pisses him off even further. It's up to the blue collar workers to take advantage of Japan's railway system to lead the beast away. So while the movie is taking pride in Japan, it's not taking pride in the excessive military might of the country but rather the elaborate connection system that they have invested in.

When I saw Godzilla '14 my theater applauded during the full-frontal SKREEEONK and both Atomic Breath moments (ESPECIALLY down the throat).

If it had online I'd prefer it be a co-op builder where you each get a section of Japan under your control with your own units/eco and you all have to work together to build/manage everything. You could even play it like a competitive RTS slinging strategy where two guys focus exclusively on building economy and send it all to the third guy who focuses exclusively on military.
Depending on how it's set up you could have one guy focusing on the core of your city making sure supply lines stay connected and power stations continue to supply energy to all your buildings, while another goes out to sea to get resources from fish/wind generators/oil platforms, and the last guy is out there controlling the planes and tanks with his full attention, making sure military units keep getting produced and sent to the right places.

Muh "not enough humans", muh "always night/cloudy" and the slightly more reasonable "human scenes are mostly just okay" although all miss the point. The Human/Monster split was like 55-45 or 60-40 instead of 2014's 80-20 and a decent amount of human moments were spliced into monster fights (which was one issue I had, you could've cut human footage to give more seamless fights and made the movie 10 minutes shorter).
I wonder how many critic reviews actually fucking mentioned the incredible cinematography during the kaiju/Titan scenes.

I just wateched KotM and 2014 Godzilla a few days ago and IMO KotM was way better, there were still way too many human scenes and the kaiju scenes were actually good (unlike 2014 which only had a few good scenes). The human parts were WAY worse with a few exceptions than 2014, though.

Maybe make something like the King Kong PS2 game with human missions but the human missions would be different perspectives like one mission you’re a civilian trying to survive, another you’re a military guy flying a jet while Rodan or something is trying to destroy you and Godzilla missions where you fight monsters and military. Then possibly a Mortal Kombat tower type deal where you can do multiple fights (or mini campaign) where you play as a different monster and unlock some alternate endings for each monster you finish as. And then just a normal single player/multiplayer fight mode or somethin

Honestly, just watch it and decide for yourself. I tried to, but tapped out midway the first movie. The pacing is a slog, characters don't develop or get any deeper, most of the dialogue is exposition. I guess there is some philosophical musings you can get out of it, if you're into that, but it's wrapped up into such an unappealing narrative (at least in my opinion) that it's hardly worth it.

The Oxygen Destroyer in this movie pissed me off so much. The 1954 Godzilla is one of my favorite movies of all time, and in that movie the Oxygen Destroyer plays a huge, extremely important role. Here it's introduced so abruptly, is made by the military instead of Dr. Serizawa despite Dr. Serizawa being RIGHT THERE, and worst of all it ends up being totally ineffective. The whole point of the Oxygen Destroyer is that it's such a scary weapon that it has the potential to be more dangerous than Godzilla. Here it's a joke to the point of being insulting.

There's a handful of moments where through expressions and head interactions it's implied that the left head is less focused than the others. IIRC there's some supplementary material on a website that states that Monarch discovered that each head has differing cranial density, implying that each head has independent thought and even different personalities.
The most blatant example is left head being to the ground, focusing on trying to eat people, only for the middle head to bite its horn to pull it back and get it to focus. I also really like Right & Middle being webbed to the side of a building by Mothra, followed by Leftie trying to rip it off, only to see Godzilla's reflection in the glass and panic.

Possibly. It hasn't always been easy to find dual audio or subbed versions of all of the movies, so it's quite likely I've only seen 2000 dubbed, particularly since it isn't one I tend to rewatch.
My personal favorites are Gojira, Biollante, vs Mechagodzilla, Megalon, vs Mothra, and Final Wars, all for very different reasons.
