The guy can't personally recommend the game and gives you precisely the reason why and even pros for the game. I don't see what's wrong with that. Some people, even pervy ones, may want a bit more realistic story. You can easily get tired of extremely contrived porn.
It's certainly a better review than "the game is shit lmao".
Granted I do think Steam reviews would benefit heavily from regional segregation. What is considered shitty in one region may not be in another, especially when talking things like localizations or lack thereof. It can be completely valid to both recommend a game to English speaking users but not recommend it to Russian or Asian ones for instance. Let alone any cultural differences people get butthurt over.
