Why is it so comfy bros, it's not fair
Bad games can have soul
I agree, but I've yet to see any examples posted ITT.
I need to play some GBA games again. They simply ooze with SOUL.
I've never cared for FE, but the GBA animations are my favorite shit.
The GBA games (mainly FE7) are pretty good. I haven't played a lot of the games in the series but that's the installment I enjoyed most.
Hector's a fucking legend
Could they do Mario Kart on NES?
>inb4 the zoomers come in and say MK64 was garbage and the worst game in the series while saying shit like MKDD was the best like last thread
at least post a real one
I want to toss her into the pool!
DD had the best drift mechanics and the second item slot let you prepare for blue shells instead of relying on luck
64 has terribly awkward drift mechanics that are only good for snaking and the hands down best fucking battle mode in any of them to date
35 y/o boomer here. MKDD was the best.
Gamecube gathered some of the worst fanbases.
31 here, agreed. Multicup was the best time waster in the history of the franchise
That was easy
>DD had the best drift mechanics
Nah, that would be the DS one. Not to mention, you can easily evade the blue shell (and pretty much anything) without any items in DD.
>you can easily evade the blue shell (and pretty much anything) without any items in DD.
all the more reason it's the best one
DKC2 has so much soul
Nah, kinda makes the whole thing pointless if you're playing against people. Not to mention the game is slippery as fuck, and not in a good way like some vehicles in F-Zero GX.
There's a reason why they never went back to that style.
Ah, I get it now. Soulful just means nostalgic.
>learning how to play better shouldn't make you better at the game
fucking listen to yourself
man, this title screen always gets me. it feels like it's the last ride, before you have to move on.
Mario Kart 64 was my first console game ever, and it doesn't fucking hold up. It isn't the worst in the series (snes takes that one) but it's pretty fucking bad.
When was that implied m8? All I said is that the item switch mechanic is meaningless when the biggest threats can be avoided without any items at all.
Why is the F-Zero GX Port Town skybox so soulful?
>kinda makes the whole thing pointless if you're playing against people
most people can't do this on demand
I just can't enjoy new games anymore, lads. All I really have fun playing anymore is 64 games with friends..
you can jump and see her pantsu
how sega got away with it
I can hear the music.
Other than the games with an item switch, it's by far the easiest MK to pull it off. I seriously doubt anyone that has played the game for more than one month doesn't know how to do it. Specially people that grew up playing it.
Hm I think I will need some evidence if I am to believe you.
Fuck sewer Savage
I felt the same way about mario kart ds's credits scene.
It hit me hard.
...
That was the thing I missed the most about DD, until I discovered than you can setup an all track cup in versus mode in Deluxe. Now I need to go back and check if previous entries don't have the same option.
these types of images make me feel so weird. happy, nostalgic but also a deep sadness
So much soul I almost got pregnant
Its the best futuristic racer ever made.
Everything about it is fucking amazing desu.
>mario kart ds's credits
Good shit, ninty games used to have the most soulful credits
Especially the old Pokemon games. RSE's credits take me way back
