June 2019... My generals are dead... I am... forgotten
no pvp so it gets old after u beat it theres nothing to do after you get all the achievements
Yet it GOTY so far
>the absolute state of western games when a subpar FROM title doesnt have to try to be goty
Of course, beside Ape and Ape 2x: Electric Boogaloo, you were a retarded, boring, obnoxious game from Memezaki. You obviously failed.
Is there going to be DLC for this?
That's what happens when you try to make a Ninja Gaiden clone instead of the long awaited Bloodborne sequel.
I dropped the game when I got to Owl. Boring L1 spam - the game.
Me too, I returned it. Owl and Emma are fucking jokes.
Dogshit
ROBEEEEERT
I beat Owl, I dropped the game after him because I cba to go on if they game was just gonna be more of that shite.
Shame because I really liked the ape fight.
yeah i was pretty disappointed with this. i couldn't even bring myself to finish it despite me being super excited for it. the gameplay is also incredibly boring
Yeah I mean it’s a single player game that’s not a live service triple AAA cuck fest
Dark souls 3 proves you don't have to be a live service disaster with constant microtransactions to be a solid experience that lasts more than 3 hours. Sekiro failed at that, miserably. It's remarkably similar to dark souls in it's combat, but worse in just about every way, from flat out telling you when enemies are using attacks with the kanji, to only having one real weapon to choose from and some tools that you only rarely use anyway.
>SWORD MAN GAME TOO HARD!!!! REEE WHY CANT EVERYTHING BE EASY CASUALSHIT LIKE WITCHER 3 AND SKYRIM
a bunch of single player games still have threads on Yea Forums. sekiro is just very forgettable and also not that great
June 2019...still seething...
I just beat my first run. I feel kind of bad for using lightning reversal on sword saint since it's way to easy to pull of for how hard it punishes them for using lightning attacks. Only demon of hatred left before i go into NG+.
Fuck all who say it's shit.
Although with all the threads around I already knew not to get into it expecting another darksouls/bloodborne
But...but it's hard!
Therefore it's good!
When is it getting DLC? That's when I will play it
its actually trash, terrible story and le edgy dialogue, only.. and I mean the only redeeming thing is the gameplay
>SWORD MAN GAME TOO HARD!!!!!
>GIB ME WITCHER!!! GIB ME WITCHER! GIB ME WITCHER! GIB ME WITCHER!
How can it be forgotten if faggots like you make this thread every day?
You cheated not only the game, but yourself.
You didn't grow.
You didn't improve.
You took a shortcut and gained nothing.
You experienced a hollow victory. Nothing was risked and nothing was gained.
It's sad that you don't know the difference.
I'll keep on playing until I finally kill this old smug bastard. No other fucking boss gave me that many problems, something on his timing just throws me off time and time again. I should be at around 40 deaths by now...
I'd rather it die than have an obnoxious retard spam it like Bloodborne and botw.
>It's remarkably similar to dark souls in it's combat
You can just say that you watched a video of it but never played even 2 minutes of it.
iirc it was initially designed to be a new take on Tenchu and the only bosses that seem to me "souls-like" would be DoH and the fucking ape anyway.
>betraying kuro
eww. i hope you are not on your first run.
and that's good. sekiro is overrated game.
The game that exposed Yea Forumseddit. Yea Forumsedditors are still fuming.
Game of the year for me
It also looks gorgeous at 1800p on XboneX with a 4K TV
Bloodborne multiplat remaster when?
Third run, beat every other boss except him. Emma by now is mostly trivial, also Isshins first phase, it's the second that keeps on fucking me up time and time again.
I feel like sekiro was better than bloodborne, but that's just my shitty opinion
Fuck off underage ESL
At least it showed just how full of casualfags Yea Forumseddit is by now. Not having the option to get help trough summons really pulled the mask off of them.
>Will live for years in players for being such an enjoyable and original experience
>forgotten
Why am I even saying this, OP obviously hates Sekiro and doesn't want to ear anything else.
>Tfw you beat all the bosses and finished the game twice but still feel like a casual
Fuck I'm tired but maybe I need to charmless bell run to feel up to par
>Makes a character action game for soulsbrainlets
>Souls brainlents don't understand the concept of the game
>Wonder why no one talks about it after 3 weeks
Geez... Who could imagine that the dumb soulsborne fanbase only wants to play new Demon's Souls reskins over and over again...
i played it through two or three times.
for a game with no pvp and limited RPG elements thats pretty good. Feel like i definitely got my moneys worth and would look forward to DLC/Sequel
I found people saying the Shinobi Tools are weak though which surprised me. Some are pretty limited in use like the Fan, Spear and Axe (pretty much each for one enemy) but Firecrakers are OP vs everything, Shuriken is generally useful, the whistle can manipulate AI in some interesting ways, and the feathers are my favourite, the first upgrade to them is fucking nuts.
I think a sequel that trims some of the fat (weak Shinobi tools, Ninjutsu in general, weak talents or mandatory ones like Carp/Mikiri) and adds some more interesting stealth/combat elements will be fantastic
Valid opinion.
>pvp
>achievements
kill yourself zoomer
Pretty fun game but I don't feel like replaying it only for Owl Father, Emma and Old Isshin.
Nobody talks about it because there really isn't anything worth talking about. No builds, no online memes, uninteresting lore, no news of DLC
This game being hard is a meme right? Surely Yea Forums can use the very forgiving counter time?
Anyone who dropped Sekiro should commit sudoku.
Boomer here
Outside of the stupidly hard (bad) NES games I remember, Sekiro is the hardest game I ever played
I takes me about 2-3 hours to beat every boss (I just got to Genishiro or something, the dude with the bow)
game is too boring to replay
it has the same problem as souls, its not a real action game with actual combat depth so the gameplay isnt fun once you've memorized enemys movesets and timings
except even worse since there's literally only one weapon
I forgot it 1 week after finishing it.
Let me tell you boy, it's no Souls, no legacy will be left behind of this forgettable trash.
I know contrarians will quote "it's no Souls" in the opposite way that I meant it and think they are super clever, no one cares
Define "combat depth" and give some example of 3d action games that have depth
Fire umbrella
did you beat ss isshin ng+ charmless bell demon?
Why charmless? Does charm and bell not stack?
It’s not having the charm that increases the challenge, you got it backwards. They do stack
You can't keep talking about a linear single player game for too long you retard. Obviously it's discussion is dead.
Why do people call it linear? I mean it's not THAT linear
>I am... forgotten...
Shut the fuck up one of the worst memes ever created
His first phase is literally a carbon copy of SS Isshin. His second phase is a joke if you don’t stand on the fire
well the kanji thing was mainly a way to tell the player certain defensive actions won't work such as parrying which the game highly encourages you to use at every opportunity because of posture killing. Without the kanji some attacks would then seem arbitrarily unparryable which would cuck and frustrate players out of building posture damage. In Souls rolling worked against the vast majority of attacks. In an intense situation where you are running on adrenaline and instinct a panic-roll might just save you, but a panic-parry won't be as effective. So you can just imagine the rage it would cause people wondering why certain attacks (almost every enemy uses a typical weapon unlike souls where eldritch horrors could be blasting you magic and shit) can't be parried. The kanji is more QoL than anything.
I agree with lack of weapon variety, especially since enemies can use different types of weapons. Tools could've definitely been improved, firecracker was all you really needed, everything else was niche.
>Dark souls 3
>good
It's like with DMC5, I had my fun and I eviscerated the game but I can't keep playing forever, it's a self contained game, not a fucking service like what they're constantly trying to push. I do hope for a well crafted dlc though.
That looks blurry as fuck for fake 4K. Native 1440p on PC looks sharper and more detailed than that.
