Oh yeah Breaker 3 was great, Im talking New Gundam Breaker. the one that discounted so far on Amazon JP that they were practically giving it away.
Really the biggest issue was that the roster got gutted and they DLC. I lost my main and I never really felt right without him.

Made as a console standalone game to avoid having to port Maxi Boost and treat it as its own separate thing with its own balance (the DLC units shared between GVS and MBOn had differences) separate (and simplified) mechanics.
But very quickly turned out to just be like SFV with gutted roster, dumb mechanics, DLC out the fucking ass (and a garbage selection too) and was essentially abandoned for EXVS2 (which hey turns out a lot of the units from there are based off changes from GVS).

New Breaker was a fucking travesty, Even the last pre-release trailer had Kamille complaing about the new mechanics. Bamco handed the game off to a new team and the game suffered as a result. Its a shame that this was the first one to get an full-on English console/PC release in the west.

It's the first real VS game we got since the PS2 and was even said to have been designed for a world wide audience. Even with it's problems it's still a good and fun game but GOD Bamco just left it out to die and clearly won't ever bother again with another console VS game.
Worst thing is that it's not that hard to revive GVS at all. Just do a balance overhaul patch, permanently lower price on DLC, offer a F2P option with a rotating roster, offer a full DLC pass for a discount, OFFER AN UNLOCK KEY FOR THE ASSISTS FUCKING HELL and you're on your way to a good product. Then maybe start backporting EXVS2 units (since the whole point of GVS was to make it console friendly and not cut into arcade profits).
