*sip*
Ah yes, now that's a real man's color scheme.
*sip*
Ah yes, now that's a real man's color scheme.
What seems to be the problem? You're not one of those faggots with a window case are you?
its actually smart marketing at this point. every build you see you can easily identify noctua stuff
A damn good cooler is what it is.
>having a windowed case
>putting your tower on the desk
ISHYGDDT
zoomers hate it. but me? i fucking love my nh-d15 and other noctua case fans
Meme cooler
>windowed case
kill yourself
>buy one of those shiny corsair case fans with the lights
>plug it in to the board
>it has another cable that doesn't fit anyhwere
>apparently the lights only work if you have that cable plugged in
What the fucking shit, I'm PC retarded but at least advertise this shit on the box, idk how to get the lights working
evo212 gang rise up
Imagine caring about the colors inside of an opaque box.
Having a windowed case with a visible temperature reader prevented my computer from burning down when my fans malfunctioned.
plug that cable in somewhere
Whats bad about a window case? I like just being able to look in it to see if it needs dusting.
a shit, cryorig h7 is cheaper and better
For me it's the 212x
They be only enabled by having a compatible motherboard.
This, but unironically.
It's the complementary asscable so that you can feel like a proper fag
For me, it's Pro Rock 3.
>Austrian alpine turbine magic
Why are they so fucking good?
you don't need a window
you don't need RGB
you don't need more than 3 fans
it needs to go to the board and sometimes power, and then the other thing might be to connect a string of lights or some shit
it doesn't plug anywhere on the board, I think (think) I have to buy some other crappy thing that plugs into the board and then the fan cable plugs into that. I have no idea why this wasn't shown on the box
>my fans malfunctioned
should've bought a noctua :^)
desk is fine unless you are going to tear out carpet. much less cleaning issues.
I have that same heatsink.
no user it goes up your ass didn't you read my post
you don't need a side panel at all for anything other than having dumb little kids around.
For me, it's the stock cooler.
Imagine paying $50 for a fucking palm sized fan.
>putting your tower on the floor where all the dust gathers
???
imagine being thermally throttled all the time
They're coming out with black versions in Q4 2019. They presented them at Computex.
>being an overclocklet
i got one collecting dust. i switched to a 240mm rad
bitch you don't tell if something needs dusting by sight
you have maintenance schedule and clean it out on a monthly basis
I have a Noctua cooler, it's good. I need a new PC case though, no matter how much dampening I put in this case I can still hear my other case fans vibrating. I need a case that's specifically designed to be super quiet.
for me, It's NH-U14S
it SHOULD be enough, but both intel and AMD cut costs and ship their 600$ products with inferior fans that don't cool their chips
Compare GPU stock cooling with CPU stock cooling and you realize you're getting fucked in the ass
>b-but muh extra 5 frames in fortnite
You buy stock GPUs?
>clean it out on a monthly basis
haha yeah
>putting your tower on the desk where all the noise gathers
???
Windowed case is good for keeping an eye on your fans and dust levels without having to open it up.
there's a reason why it's shipped "free" with boxed CPUs, It's loud and ineffective
but the FE stockshits are terrible too
>you have maintenance schedule and clean it out on a monthly basis
holy shit have sex
>he doesn't enjoy the sound of fans spinning near idle
heathen
>having your cpu constantly thermal throttling is okay
y'all really paying $50 for a fan and wondering why y'all don't get no sex huh
I have the Pure Rock, like pretty much everyone in my country since the three big stores have had it in top sales 100% of the time ever since it came out
I have the dark base pro case. Fucking brilliant will never need to buy another one. Going to get this cooler next.
I clean it out whenever I get frustrated because something doesn't run as well as it should. That's usually long after another dustbunny mating season. Usually it doesn't fix anything either but I feel better afterwards.
It's for the RGB bullshit. Newer motherboards have headers for them to plug in, otherwise you have to buy that manufacture's RGB lighting kit which would come with a hub to plug those extra connectors.
this is what peak cooling looks like
>pretending to be a nigger on 4channel
Man i still have this one and even without the fans still cooling my 965 x4 be 3.6oc.
>965 x4 be 3.6oc.
that is one ancient relic
Red LED
>faster, but runs hotter
Blue LED
>cooler, but doesnt run as fast
RGB LED
>you become gay
How come the fan I got only had brown padding?
I have one of those. Barely fits in my goddamn case.
I'm fully erect right now
Fucking love the nhd15
>Green Led
>You're literally saving money
I got a nice tinted ones.
tell me you fags bought a noctua and didn't fall for the AIO meme
Will literally never fall for the aio meme
>when I RGB lit my setup just to show the glorious beige
It's a 12V RGB cable. You need a modern motherboard with that has them (usually 2-3 on a board). Or you buy a RGB hub controller that you hide behind your case and connect with molex/sata to power the RGB's.
What's so bad about windows and lighting? I love looking at the components
this is peak cooling aesthetic and you can't convince me otherwise. This thing is gorgeous
I have the lighting node pro for my RGB LED strip and that fan rgb cable wouldn't plug into it. So i need 2 hubs? one for the fans and one for the LED strips? I mean why the fuck its all lighting how is it not all compatible
Yeah I have one of those right here. Encased and out of view for years.
>zoomer aesthetic
I bet you listen to Billie Eillish too.
chads vs virgins for PC building. Chads have windows and lights coming out of their ass. Virgins seal the case with ugly beige noctuas
That thing is a son of a bitch to attach to the motherboard.
COMING THROUGH FAGGOT
>bit-tech.net
The lighting node pro is for the 3 pin RGB strips, you can't plug in the 4 pin 12V RGB fans into it. You need something like pic related.
Peak aesthetic was back when things were still made out of copper and fanless was viable, it's all downhill from there.
Only excuse for an aio is in cases with motherboard height restrictions e.g. micro itx builds.
My next build will use an asatek 92mm aio in the dancase A4 SFX
thanks homie. Wish they sold this shit at best buy so I can just buy it but apparently only choice is to order it off corsair
literally my next door neighbor's peacock's heat sink
Fanless is back, baby
This seems like a bad color scheme because the brown part does all the work
I've just installed it into my case 3 hours ago lol
This thing is a beast. Looks like both pure sex and imposing at the same time.
w-why is the color of cooler important? Don't tell me there are people out there having windows cases.
The caged brown part has do to all the work while the white part chills, seems about right
I bought Dark Pro Rock 4. It's fine
I hope you're ready to get blacked
I can't wait to build a Zero Moving Parts (ZMP) machine. Dead silence is so satisfying. Even with my current PC I listen to music at 0.1% or 0.01% max volume when I'm writing.
*dabs on your cooler*
almost all cases come with a window now
Shut the fuck up.
very nice
Coffee and cream
I have the phanteks version of this it rules
*siiiiip*
still kicking good
isnt this like 4lbs
Do you need to go to the gym or something?
probably the 2nd best price/performance processor ever released, I sold mine to a friend and he's still using it
that was before cpus could step themselves down and you were stuck at 800Mhz or whatever 24/7. now you can underclock if you have to and can get a decently quiet system for anything but gaming very easily.
fanless is a bit of a meme since good big low speed fans aren't too loud to begin with.
anything more and you might as well go buy a big block of metal or mount your cpu to an i beam.
Isn't that a lot of weight to put on the cpu?
>anything more and you might as well go buy a big block of metal or mount your cpu to an i beam.
There are cases that do this
t. can't afford kino tempered glass case
glass cases are a meme
there will be gaps between them and the metal, which are points of entry for dust and doesn't keep your case at a good pressure for optimal venting
I love this thing. I used to have a corsair liquid cooler and hated the sound of the pump.
t.
Easier cooling now :^)
clip your toe nails and watch your feet, nigger.
wat
You can have Noctua fans without the butt ugly color scheme now you know
well, tempered it was!
Only faggots care about aesthetics.
So I can have 1990's Department Store Register Beige/chocolate, or Monster Energy Drink Faggot. Amazing color pallets, I need to go buy some noctua right now.
the shit has hit the ventilator
Found the Dellfag.
I have one of those Corsair all in one liquid cooling solutions. The H90. Haven't changed it since 2016, and shit's running pretty hot on my CPU as of late.
Should I just keep this or buy either a boomer fan or a new AIO solution?
Performance and longevity matter most. If you're buying parts for their looks you're a sucker.
Well those fans come with a bunch of colors including red, white, blue, yellow, whatever your theme is. Don't let my le ebin gaymet aesthetic hold you back, I know the typical spineless Yea Forumsirgin would be caught dead before choosing to have even the smallest semblance of a personality for fear of being called out for it.
>beige plastic has better longevity than black or white plastic
If the performance and the longevity are identical then the price comes next. You're paying a premium for different colored parts. You're a retard.
Your pc shuts off at a certain temperature you dumbass
That's what I always presumed too, but my temp was reading 101 Celsius, that's enough to damage components.
Never really cared what colour my computer parts came in, but I kind of wanted to build an orange/black/grey one...
Corsair?
Want a mini ITX case but can't fit in my GPU & don't want to buy a new one.
That color scheme is fucking rad. It's like Mars or something.
Fuck off Elon
>ye olde pc couldn't run far cry 5
>get a new pc that runs any game without even a purr
>but sounds like a goddamn jet engine when playing far cry 5
nani the fuck?
still the best
fbpb
Noctua is the king of cooling. I will happily buy their fans again.
No man. It just pushes the connections on your CPU closer so that it can run faster. It's pretty simple really. Closer connections means less distance which means faster travel.
reminder that window cases are objectively superior to non-window ones because you can always do a quick visual check to your parts on the move and at anytime without having to dismantle panels.
the MACHO cools almost as well as the biggest coolers from the likes of noctua but it costs like $50 instead of close to $100. get that if you're on a budget that allows for something more than a hyper 212. the 212 is a great value cooler but don't expect it to keep up with very hungry CPUs OCd.
this
the stock AMD cooler are much better than intel, which ship metal blocks more often than not. with AMD you get actual heatpipes and fins, enough to even OC a little though with a louder fan.
pcpartpicker.com
Will Ripjaws V ram fit under the Dark Rock Pro 4?
I only have Ballistix on the list because someone on /g/ told me to
This
It is the only PC parts company that I like.
>bitch you don't tell if something needs dusting by sight
Thats exactly how you should clean, the maintenance schedule is just so you remember to look.
literally higher IPC than anything AMD had until zen.
I'm still rocking the Pro 2, but I will probably get the NHD15S when I finally upgrade to a ryzen system later this year. It served me well.
Same.
It's like installing a component in your fucking car.
heh
the faggot version
I think the case they had it in use a support bracket. they had one with no fan and one with a single silent fan. both were able to handle a 9900k at load, the case just got hot.
there are itx cases that allow even the biggest GPUs, research it.
>look it up
>115usd
how is that cheaper than 35usd for evo212?
that's some major price gouging, i got mine last year for 30.
Idle temps are just 30c right now in a 24c room with this on my 6600k and rarely goes above 60c. And it's cheap as fuck. Expensive coolers are retarded.
So how come people hate AIO coolers? I've always used them on my mini ITX buils and never had issues, I use to sell PCs too and never had any complaints.
lmao i just looked at its price history, what the fuck is this
Fuck all of you
Yea Forums doesn't know shit about computers.
Because a bunch of fags asked them to make some black ones so they did it at a markup.
Is that bad boy pure copper?
this is a good heat sink
Reminder that people with fancy modded glass cases are literal dicklets
fuck you
FUCK YOU
DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO FIND A CASE TODAY WITHOUT A WINDOW?
MOTHER OF DICK DONT TELL HIM TO SHUT UP. YOU SHUT UP. TRY TO FIND A GOOD CORSAIR (OR GOD FORBID ANOTHER BRAND) WITHOUT A WINDOW THATS IN STOCK. GOOD LUCK.
No RGB = No gaming.
Get with the times, Grandpa. RGB makes your gaming computer run faster, efficient and cooler.
Pure thin copper. Don't cut yourself(literally its that sharp, I owned and used one for a while).
Oh my god it was. It even had to uninstall it because I realized it put it in wrong. But fuck it works really good. Mine came with an additional cable to make it quieter, but the way I have my setup, it's already quiet enough I didn't even bother with it.
>No one has settled for this bad boy
There are good cases called be quiet! which are all mat black with no windows (I have one).
Should I get a 3rd fan for this?
what about getting some software that monitors all the temperatures and voltages of every single components like every non-retarded person has?
Too bad it's a pain in the ass to set up with its stupid fucking metal X that keeps wiggling around when you're trying to install it.
t. Have a 212 Evo in my current build.
how the fuck did that happen?
I have one installed above it (attached to the case) and there is not that much of an impact.
If you are talking about adding it for extra exhaust, you don't really need it.
I tried really hard to find one without because I'm old school like that but I couldn't find one so I settled on one that had a small window on the upper side of the case. it came in handy though because my mobo has these LEDs that blink in sequence on boot to show that the parts are working and I can see it from the small window and it helped when I built it because the RAM wasn't inserted correctly
I saw and held the newest Noctua 120mm cooler
Yeah it fits and cools great but that shit is heavy as fuck
It'll rip a motherboard off than its actual monster D15 cousin
fpbp
You 'avin' a giggle mate?
I like the Noctua color scheme.
neat
> sucking corporate dick
> """personality"""
lmao
Pointless if a simple air does the same thing cheaper.
I got this for 60 bucks brand new, not usually a fan of windows but it's a great case and has a light switch for the ports in the back.
another point of failure that's not needed at all for non hyper gayming OC setups
this is mine, I payed 50 free shipping and it has tempered glass
I like your case but the plastic is shit
I have this, well, a friend gave it to me for free. I've no complaints with it.
they probably kicked it
Telling others you like a brand isn't sucking dick, and simply recommending a product isn't shilling, get it through your brainlet skull that people are allowed to talk positively here for things they like and not be cynical shitposting fuckweeds all day.
I have one and I only have it so I can easily tell if something like a fan is broken, which hasn't happened yet, but if it does, I can easily check.
I have the s340. I wish i got this one instead, those hdd bays are nice.
Tan & Leather. Tried and true. If you're using RGB fans, you might as well put a gay pride bumper sticker on the side of your computer.
Meshify C is top tier bros
4 years ago I fell for the AIO meme and I'm still not going to look back despite temps being kinda garbage. To me the practicality of not having a 2 ton radiator in the middle of my case is too good to pass. It's easy to install, no maintenance, works well enough.
I just spent to many years wrestling these aluminum mammoth with shitty plastic push-and-snap screws or whatever other bullshit it always comes with.
I'll always have a little nostalgia for the zalman monsters but never again. Now I'm even considering getting a 360 AIO for $120 and hanging it out my case, to get actually good temps hopefully.
Try not being illiterate for a start. If your """personality""" is plastering an advertisement for a company on your property/yourself, you don't have a personality. No shit you can talk positively about things, but someone buying Noctua has a lot more personality than someone just buying the most generic gaymer garbage (with RGB lights, of course).
>windowed case
they're a reason they're called ricers
absolutely disgusting
Ignore that user, for Corsair fans specifically you'll want this hardware. All your fans plug into it, and the device itself plugs into a slot on the Lighting Node Pro.
t. someone who actually spent money on this bullshit
All the RGB headers plug into it*, I should say. Fans plug into either standard PWN fan headers on the mobo or a fan controller.
>not using watercooling in 2019
Fall for the AIO meme.
ty
>those fans on top
user..you do know hot air is pushed upwards by gravity, gravity?
>monthly
Holy shit do you live in the desert?
You know convection force is really weak and can be easily overcome by even the weakest of fans, right?
You do know you can flip fans so that it blows in or out, right?
>tfw tech companies give you the wide range of color choices of white or black
When will these faggots realize there's a whole fucking rainbow they could go off of? All I want is a pastel green tower with accented darker pastel green parts but nooOOOoooOoo that'd be too fucking hard now wouldn't it?
All those gauges on the dash just to tell you you're getting smoked by the minivan in the next lane.
>watercooling
>paying more for a worst performance
Now is that really necessary?
>nhd15
The performance of water cooling without the risk and hassle.
>worst performance
t. 50c on idle
this
>hyperx 212 cooler getting rickety
what do I replace it with im terrible with this shit and want my i5 6600k and 970 to last as long as possible before I move to a better build
watercooling is a meme on par with RGB fans
deal with it
I have watercooling and get 50°C idle
80°C on load
100°C in stress test
I like the corsair 200R but I feel like I need more airflow..
You do know there's no reason to go against the laws of nature, right? also that fucking front radiator better have all the fans at the very least pushing air out the front. If this is set up to blow the hot air IN to the case then the top fans being backwards is the least of your worries
it's wrong in the picture that he posted, I don't care if he plans to fix it
what's the point of water cooling if you're not going to zoom zoom with leds and clear tubing with UV coolant and shiet?
In case you didn't notice my fans and heatsink ARE noctua, and that's what I was showing in the image. And do tell what part of it is a plastered on advertisement?
whatever you say, sub-overclocklet
time to clean your fucking loops then
bet there's a whole fucking algae colony in that shit
either that or your pump gave up long ago and you're running on inertia
That's midly amusing.
You should try adding some fans to your radiator.
I'd personally like an orange PC case. It's my favorite color and barely any electronics are made in it.
what is this airflow
odd, i dont have a picture of my new motherboard.
This fine ass shit keeps my cpu lower than the fucking room temperature
>watercooling radiator against a semi-grated panel
what the actual fuck man
>so ugly but has one of the best temps on the market
Why is noctua shit so much different than other shit?
the top has a filter, its the easiest way to keep the dust out of the radiator.
bro, you don't even know what push pull is.
are you a retard
> what part of radioactive green gaymer decal with product and brand name front and center is an advertisement
?
Big air-coolers outperform water cooling, dummy.
no
big air coolers outperform closed loop AIO water coolers, they both fall behind on custom built big water coolers.
What a flamboyant faggot.
>monthly
The fuck is wrong with you? I only need to dust my computer every 3-4 months.
This is idle for me and I have the cooler in the OP
Where the fuck is the hard drive LOL. Did you substitute it for more fans?
this is now your reminder to clean your computer and or your radiator.
>those fucking gaming chair seats!
>smoking near your PC
>not having your case on the ground to have larger space on your table
what is wrong with you
No need because I vacuum my room instead, you filthy fuck.
If you want to bring up custom loops, sure, but that's a specification of the earlier claim that "watercooling outperforms air-cooling". Do you have a source on custom loops outperforming let's say a Noctua DH-15?
There are two kinds of lighting connectors these days.
Four pin RGB plugs, which just do basic lighting. One pin for ground, three pins for colors.
Three pin Digitally Addressable RGB plugs, which allow each individual LED on whatever you're plugging in to be independently controlled. One pin for ground, one pin for voltage, and one pin for data.
Your motherboard might have the former but not the latter.
yeah
its all about surface area, a custom water cooling unit can be as large as you want, 1440mm x 1440mm, hell grab a radiator off your car or truck. More thermal mass and greater surface area for contact distribution = better cooling.
>smoking at all
>caring about color schemes
You sound like one of those mincing interior decorator faggots
I got you bro
>glorious beige
surface area of what? The CPU doesn't become bigger, the bottom part of air-coolers is the size of the CPU heat spreader, bigger has no advantage. Do you have any benchmarks?
Switch the panels so the window-less one with all the padding faces the components rather than the back of the motherboard. Makes it a little more quiet
now that's that good shit
Do they sell cases that are just almost entirely glass? I legit want no fucking metal or plastic at all, or as bare minimum as necessary. Are there any? I'm curious if these are sold and it also serve to trigger the glassfags
the surface area of the heatsink.
at a certain point the cooler becomes heat saturated and can no longer dissipate heat faster than the cpu can generate it. Both air coolers and liquid coolers suffer from this. A liquid cooler has more thermal mass, so when a large custom loop is being used for hours/days at a time it takes it far longer to reach the maximum temperature of the loop, combined with the sheer volume of fans that can be attached to the loop, you can have upwards of 24 fans in push pull configuration on a large radiator.
A traditional heatsink and fan, even the D-12 is a large heavy mass directly hanging off the cpu socket itself, its limited by the size and weight of what the motherboard can support.
the contact patch on both for the cpu is the same, but the capacity to carry the heat away from the cpu and keep it away is far greater for custom loops.
>Yea Forums can't into simple airflow
I seriously need to step in for this? here's the diagram of both possible scenarios depending on your radiator fan orientation, for you mongoloids. In Situation A you have cold air entering from both the front panel and the top of the case. The radiator on the front ejects the now warmed air into the case itself which then gets ejected out the back. I probably don't need to say this but pushing hot air INTO the case is NOT a good idea.
In situation B it's a little better, you have cold air going into the case from the top, the fans then pushing air into the radiator (still cool) and pushing the hot air out the front. The big fucking problem here is the front glass panel and the back fan. The fan on the back is pulling air out of the case, yet so are the front ones pulling air out the front, you split the flow of air circulation right down the middle instead of allowing it to circulate properly and cool everything. Then the front glass panel is being shit on nonstop with warm air ejected by the radiator, it's going to look like a dog's ass in a few months.
>he doesn't show off his chad boomer cooler
you gotta be 18 to post
>noctua
I actually bought one of those things and it was a bitch to install due to how big it is. But it's true to their word... shit actually keeps my cpu pretty cool and this shit is the most silent cooler I've ever had in my life.
Whenever I turn on my PC my R5 2600's stock cooler goes fucking apeshit. Should I replace it with something else?
Any noise coming from my PC makes me shit my pants.
Imagine being a ginormous Luddite faggot that avoids the convenience of window cases just to be a hipster fuck. I like seeing if something craps out in my case at a glance, you raised pinky finger tea sipping fuck.
If the thermal capacity of any heatsink was surpassed by the heat generated by the CPU, the CPU wouldn't cool down anymore. It'd heat up and eventually trip the damage protection and shut down. Since that doesn't happen, I don't find the theorycrafting that believable. Do you have any benchmarks showing a custom loop outperforming (as in, keeps the CPU at a lower temperature under load) than a top-of-the-line air cooler, like a Noctua product?
Isn't it better to just buy an AOI instead of this bulky cooler ? for the price of this thing you can get hold of apretty decent one
> convenience of window cases
you have RGB strips everywhere too, you cocksucking faggot? It's a PC.
>caring about color scheme inside the case
>not caring about the monster cooling a Noctua provides keeping your shitposting machine at subzero temps in the dead of summer
Where my DH-15 bros at? Summer aint got shit on me
GUYS!
WHAT FUNCOPOP CHARACTER SHOULD I PUT IN MY CASE. I'M THINKING CAPTAIN MARVEL AND I CAN MAKE ALL THE RGB LGBQT COLORS YAS?
Help a tech illiterate user out.
My GPU gets up to 70°C when I play some games. Is that safe? That temperature has red colors in Speccy.
Can I buy something to keep it cooler?
No, I have PCs that need maintenance instead of outright getting mommy to buy a new one as soon as your can of Monster energy drink is empty faggot.
>user..you do know hot air is pushed upwards by gravity, gravity?
Hot air weights less than nothing. hence hot air rises and that's what people use for hot air balloon rides. Meanwhile cold air sinks.
It's fine to have fans blowing hot air upwards while the side take in cold air.
Try putting ice in the case
>Having a green computer fan is personality
You do know that a fan pushes air?
My PC is a dull, unlit clownfest of mismatched color components, the case is windowed though. Noctua looks hilariously ugly yet effective.
what kind of maintenance your awesome zoomzoom machine needs that's more than dusting like every 3 months?
Are you really this insecure about your tastes l?
Did you read over the part about comparing it to a top air cooler?
I had dead fans on more than one occasion, and if it was up to you roundabout hipster faggots I'd need to open it up to even see what the fuck is going on. Cause "m-muh clean vintage industrial look".
buy better fans, faggot
You have to open your case to replace the fan anyway and you would easily be able to tell that a fan was dead without a window.
Windows serve no functional purpose on computer cases.
AOI are pretty fucking meh. Installation is a bitch and it's not really cooler at all. Unless you really want a low profile cooler then it's not worth it whatsoever
I love it, but if I have it take out my GPU it can be a bitch.
>No Noctua fan colored gf
it hurts
Seems like your brain serves no functional purpose in your head too.
chad pc case coming through
How old is the GPU? Temp is fine regardless, pretty much everything has failsafes to prevent your parts from exploding assuming you're not going out of your way to make it happen.
That is pretty normal user.
It's a RX 480 from like 5 or 6 years ago (?).
I don't really have money to buy a new, better GPU yet, so I'm saving up for next year.
By all means, link me these adamantium fans forged by Peter Dinklage himself that last forever.
Yes, I have to open it up anyway to replace the parts, but at least I have a general idea that the fans are dead and that I can now comfortably fry eggs on my PC with a glance. Or have visual on the mobo signal leds if the power or motherboard gets fucky.
>I like being denied extra information
This is literally you.
Good lord has it really been 5-6 years?
I had the lower end version of this for years..
Great case.
ty for the chuckle user
I want a computer in the Noctua colours. It will look like some kind of Famicom knock off.
no. It's been 3 years.
I'm baffled, genuinely baffled, at the idea that you are actively monitoring your fans through your case window. Have you heard of monitoring software? You could have that up on a second screen to keep an eye on temperatures and rpms for your fans if you are really that paranoid about them failing.
Not that you wouldn't notice a system critical fan failing anyway due to rising temperatures, throttling and ultimately a system shut down.
fist pumping every user with the holy trinity of hardware seasonic/fractal/noctua,
X4 955 reporting in, although I think I have an evo212 or whatever was the best budget option at that time (2011)
Thinking of building another rig but I want to move out first
The amount of times I have to shoo my cat off my pc...
why do people have rear exhaust fans installed when there's cpu cooler fan 3 cm behind it already blowing hot air out?
the fixation system to the mobo is all retarded though, unless you have a two feet wide case it's a fucking chore to install
this, I've had it on two rigs since 2011 and it's still a fucking pain in the ass to install. And it looks like it breaks easily
>bought new PSU a few months back, plugged it in with no problems, silent as the dead
>suddenly it starts making this weird trilling sound like the internal fan is some kind of spin the wheel game
Apparently it's an issue the whole series has and doesn't count as a fault for the purposes of repairs and replacements and somehow I never saw any mention of it before I bought it.
The sound is driving me nuts. It's so damn irritating, especially after being so quiet for so long.
