Not trying to be a shill but lets say the basic monthly fee is 8 dollars a month because the 10 is the pro with the highest. Buying pro for 10 dollars a month you are spending 120 a year. A life cycle of pc that you spend 1200 is about 3 years before you would want to upgrade the video card for 500 to be current.

So 120 a year isn't that bad and is about right for maintaining a high end pc on average. So Stadia is perfect for normies that know nothing about this stuff and don't want to bother with it. It is not a slam dunk but it isn't terrible. Plus if it is shit you can quit your sub and not be out big bucks.

Except a high-end PC will give you far better image quality and much lower latency compared to Stadia.

Every single video game streaming service have been shit in the visuals department. It's not even really a question of Google's tech, it's a question of shitty internet.

Unless google has literally invented an encoding algorithm that is sci-fi tier, expect the image quality to suffer and contain visual artifacts. It's not gonna be as bad as Twitch obviously, but it's still gonna be noticeably worse than playing it yourself.

Be easy to decode so low-end devices can do 4K/60 FPS playback
Have high compression so the bitrate can stay low(35 Mbps or 4.375 MB/s is their 4K limit)
Have very high or near-lossless quality

This is just impossible. All compression is a balancing act between quality, size, and encode/decode speed. VP9 isn't magic.

Assuming the technology works as advertised, which it probably won't but assuming, Stadia is just going to offer a more consistent performance than competing consoles for a way better price. If you don't buy into the online subscription of other platforms it still takes like 3 years from a new console launch for the one time purchase to become more efficient.

You can more or less only get your account revoked when you straight up do something illegal with your account, like scamming people or post a bunch of child porn. If you cheat in a game or call someone a nigger in chat it's up to the game to deal with it, they can't touch your steam account. If you act like a retard on their community pages or while trading you get banned from the community pages or trading and so on. Getting you games revoked is incredibly unlikely to happen.
