If they're not at E3 with a new game it's safe to say they're the worst managed studio in the entire industry

they'll give us some info on their newest barbecue

This

Expect a cheeky picture of some Texas BBQ like usual

I hope they show DKCR3, goddammit TF was great.

I mean, their first president was a sleazy douchebag dudebro and Metroid Prime was a shitshow of a development. So it would not surprise me that they are this badly managed. I bet it was Miyamoto who told Tanabe to give Prime 4 back to them. They owe that guy a lot.

I think giving MP4 to BANDAI NAMCO OF FUCKING SINGAPORE in the first place fucked them up
that team up was doomed from the get-go, but Retro would've still been working on their 2015-2018 IP (which likely took even longer to bring over from the Wii U)
now that they've been handed MP4, that IP (much like the Prime HD collection) has been sat on for months/years as to not interfere with Nintendo's schedule for releases

I'm sure we would've gotten the HD collection last year if development for 4 hadn't gone wrong
releasing it around the time of them announcing the change of developers would've taken a hit in sales

as for Retro's IP, they are Nintendo's bitch - it's up to the big dog to decide what and when escapes their dungeon into the light

I just find it funny how desperate tranny leakers fooled the populace into thinking Retro was actually working on a fucking Star Fox racing game, when it was actually their insider sources trolling the fuck out of them and giving them corpoeate mandated red herrings, that Star Fox racing shit was just an extra mode for Starlink all along. And now Reggie deliberately hides a new character with a Mario figure in the Retro parting gift portrait. It really must be a new IP for having been worked on so long and kept on a leash by Nintendo. Be glad it didn't come out on the Wii U, that would have tanked it right from the get-go.

It wasn't given to Bamco Singapore. They were experimenting with having multiple studios worldwide develop a game, like Activision does with Asscreed. Obviously it didn't work.

I actually started getting hyped about this retarded star fox racing rumor, that's how desperate I am for a new retro game

I would love to have a Prime collection on the switch, just let me play Prime 3 with normal controllers and none of that motion controllers shit.

Every year since 2015 is THE year when Retro shows up with their new game.

>Activision does with Asscreed
what

I used to think they were working on something they'd eventually show. After announcing they were going to make MP4, I think it's likely that whatever they were working on, it's cancelled.

If they don't show jackshit this E3, they have been officially wasted for 4 years.

Please show something

I want to pin myriam down and fuck her tits

>worst managed studio in the entire industry.
Pretty exaggerated, it's not Sonic Studios or Hot-B

They had to be working on SOMETHING right?

>After announcing they were going to make MP4, I think it's likely that whatever they were working on, it's cancelled.

I’d like to think whatever they were working on is wrapping up, so they decided to divide resources and start working on Prime 4. But I don’t know shit about game development and how that works, so maybe I’m just being too hopeful.

Retro is having major problems apparently. They completely scrapped the team designated to Metroid Prime and brought in the origional creators to do it. You know how badly you have to fuck up a project to have it completely scrapped like that? Pretty badly

I think you are confused.

you got a source on that chief

>After announcing they were going to make MP4, I think it's likely that whatever they were working on, it's cancelled.
why?

they started working on prime 4 at the beginning of 2019 while tropical freeze development ended in 2014

that's more than 4 years of development, more than enough to finish a project

Yes, that is confirmed

Imagine being this stupid

I don't think they'd have teased that Reggie photo just to not reveal a game this summer

I guess it could just be a beef brisket with a robot arm
