It's not the worst game I've played. There's no denying that the game was buggy/glitchy as fuck. The nexos weren't as cool as the blisk and none of the bosses were well-designed. The game was quite funny at times, but it felt a bit more 'goofy' than 1&2. Still better than Big Willy, though. At least they got the actual voice actors.

None of the Pandemic games are that huge with sales with the exception of the Battlefront series. They're mostly had a consistently good quality so each games has their dedicated fans and that's why they're always be sorely missed.
DAH 2 already had a tokyo level with ninjas and godzilla. A weeb level for a sequel isn't that far off.

Pandemic seems to have simple concept for gameplay, which is "let's make a fun gameplay where the players can have a pure fun experience playing it". They're not the most competent developer but their games oozes passions. None of their games feels generic as a result.
Great. Graphically stylish and unique with the black & white vs colored areas, story is a bit cliche but fun in a campy and corny way, and the gameplay is a good blend of GTA, Assassin's Creed, and a little bit of Hitman stealth. It's the best game ever but I love it so much.

i played it when it came out and then a few years later i revisited it. i'd tend to agree with you, blowing things up gets old pretty fast, there's not much of a story and much of the game feels barren. not as fun as DAH, but still a pretty good sandbox game nonetheless. fun to just fuck around in for a while.

who cares about open world maps. there are challenges and carnage, the game's fun is to be had in the story missions, which are challenging and fun. if they ever make a new DAH, i want more body snatching and infiltration. that bit in DAH1 where you have to convince the townspeople is gold.

I remember watching a developer’s commentary of the first game over an early build and I remember seeing the death ray having the capability to directionally cut buildings apart (or at least it looked that way in the footage), that would be an incredible inclusion into a potential reboot game

uhh..no, many of the missions don't have bosses actually. there are missions in which you have to follow people, convince people, escort natalya, read people's minds for information, there's lots of variety. and the parts that are shooting are actually fairly challenging, especially where there are turrets and robots.

I actually use the police box in that level to raise the alert level to the highest point go onto that path through the trees so I can watch soldiers fight it out with the black ninjas.

Plays similarly to Goldeneye but each level is set in a different time period. The best thing about it is its God-tier co-op.

Both DAH and Red Faction have a special place in my heart for different reasons, so the possibility of only one being officially announced is tearing me apart.

A new red faction game was leaked by Nvidia on their site showing games that support Ansel. That's why everyone thinks a new Red Faction is going to be announced.

Both games are in the same position of being independently confirmed, and it's completely up in the air which one is tomorrow's announcement. The background teaser was determined to be a city. That could go either way, right?

Yeah the Darksiders fans were already appeased not long ago with Darksiders 3, so they really should have taken this opportunity to cater to a different fan base.

The fans didn't want this Diablo mobile shit at all, so definitely.

A City is probably more likely to be DAH, since it tends to take place in more populated areas. Red Faction tends to be science facilities or vaguely rural-ish environments. The only cities in Red Faction are in the utterly despised Red Faction 2, and maybe Eos in Guerilla.

Assuming the new DAH is a sequel instead of a reboot, will it just ignore BWU and POTF? I mean POTF ended with Pox becoming Emperor so he'd have little reason to be involved with Crypto.

you guys remember that mission in 2 where you have to get a dish for pox and protect it from increasingly more tanks? I don't think I ever managed that fucking sidequest. Got to the last line of communication once but it still fucking blew up.
