thanks OP

I was thinking of the other one which goes "Vrrrr dooo dooooo"

Good to see i'm not the only one playing it right now. That huge bridge across the Upper Niben, just next to For Alessia? that's a great place to watch the moon rise.

I replay Morrwind, Oblivion and Skyrim once every year.

Yeah mods look pretty until you realize you'll spend most of the time inside caves and ayleid ruins.

This game was the reason I failed freshman English in high school. Went ahead and picked up morrowind again on Saturday and already logged close to 20 hours into that (on top of the hundreds of hours I put in as a kid). What the fuck happened to bethesda. I didn't like Skyrim at all and they've only gotten worse since then.

How did such an incompetent studio make such a comfy game?

No

How goes it citizen?

two words: Jeremy Soule

is it confirmed that jeremy soule is axed? i know he got pissed at bethesda for doing a skyrim concert without him

All of Soule's stuff is barely distinguishable from each other. He's the videogame equivalent of generic orchestral trailer shit.

>barely distinguishable
Perhaps to the untrained ear.

>you don't get it, Soule is 2deep4u
go back

Where?

you gotta have soul to get soule

God this game makes me happy

This one?

There's no doubt in my mind that bethesda's dev team really, really tried with Oblivion. It has soo much heart, and a mammoth sized amount of content. It's incredibly ambitious for a game that started development in the early 2000's.

It's biggest faults (outside of the engine) were just bad decisions because they tried to hand-hold the casual player too much, rather than from lack of effort. Like the world scaling, so it's levelled around the player. Or the odd way the player levels up. I can see the logic behind *WHY* they did these things, but they were ultimately bad choices. Thankfully, both of these can be easily fixed with mods of your choice so it's an irrelevant point in my mind.

>Jeremy composed these OSTs when he’s at death door
What a legend

Sounds like a typical Souleless opinion :^)

Real answer? Pete Hines and the marketing team at Bethesda. Everyone shits on Todd for ruining the games, but the reality is that they've always been a buggy mess. The loss of soul was because Bethesda started to introduce poor quality DLC (not the expansions) with Oblivion and adopted a lot of AAA accessibility with Skyrim to try and squeeze as much money out of as many people as possible. Skyrim didn't really ruin the Elder Scrolls that much. You can tell there's a lot of interesting things they did with the lore and Nordic culture. It was just the execution that went south. You can see it got even worse with Fallout 4 (which also showed just how ignorant Pete Hines is about the lore of Bethesda's IPs) and culminated in Fallout 76, which is a perfect illustration of how the company shipped out a revenue-making program, rather than a functional game.
In short, give Todd a break. You can tell he cares about the games he makes.

Todd is the only director that stayed with his franchise for 20 years and still does. There're literally no other devs like him.

This. This is very nice. How was it made?

So, is OpenMW finished now?

At least he doesn't just pretend like he's never made games prior to, say, Skyrim. Epic wants to forget they even existed prior to Fortnite.

Any Yea Forums recommended mods?

>dfw you will never live in a comfy chapel and live as monk worshipping gods that actually exist while delving into the deepest reaches of history for knowledge and going on low-key adventures by travelling to far off shrines with monk bros

>that lone piano at the start

So good, man I miss all the /comfy/ hours I spent in high school playing this game. I wish I could go back to that state of blissful ignorance again just for an hour.
