Face it, you guys are scrubs that can't accurately read a good johnny players movements and fundamentals, so you call us memers while were out here honing our skills by having johnny mirror matches, while you ether and guard faggots hide behind your piss easy gimmicks and not going on a monster kill streak

One Shot Johnny Is the Chad pick.

Okay, so obviously One Shot Johnny is the meta boogeyman, so let's analyze the characters primarily based off of that matchup.
>Rictor Mortis
All you have to protect you is your Shockwave, and if Johnny baits it out, you're probably fucked. As a plus side though, Shockwave lets you endlessly kite anything that's too slow, which punishes some common anti-Johnny shrimps.
>Samantha
In terms of the Johnny matchup, like Rictor but way less reliable. Any Johnny main with a brain will just dodge your projectile spam and rape you. You'll filter out the bunga Johnnies, but against any good Johnny it's a crapshoot.
>Brunt the Terrible
Forces a draw against Johnny, and you can beat Rictor-kite if you can keep up with good positioning, the 3-second window between stuns is more than enough for max-attack to destroy him. Mediocre matchup against Dome and Special-focused shrimp, so it really depends on the meta.
>Zippy Smalls
Discount Johnny. Even if you're ADHD enough to control him properly during Turbo Boost, you'll get fucked by Brunt/Dome all the same.
>Notorious Z.I.P.
Almost another discount Johnny if not for the higher defense, which gives you more of a chance against Brunt/Dome. Zip actually lets you outmaneuver Johnnies if you're REALLY good, but that's pretty low percentage. Like Zippy, good matchup against the Special meme shrimp, and unlike Zippy, good against Rictor.

The go-to anti-Johnny option, making them work twice as hard for a victory. Unfortunately, it gets destroyed by Rictor-kite and struggles against meme picks like Samantha. Really depends on the meta.

Half the time you'll get Johnnied before you can even go full invis, and even if you can go full invis AND teleport in time, now Johnny's on the other side of the map waiting for your invis to wear off and now you're basically playing Rictor with 1 speed. Beats Dome and other slow shrimps in twice the time and with half the consistency that Rictor does.

I don’t care how good you think you are with your parry timings, all you’re doing in the Johnny matchup is what Dome can do 100% of the time. When you’re not barely pulling out low percentage wins against bad Johnnies, you’ll be getting Rictor-kited and projectile spammed into the dirt. Enjoy.

The anti-meme meme pick. Almost no one plays it because against Johnny it just paints a giant target on itself and waits to die. Gets Rictor-kited just like all the other meme picks, except now it takes slightly longer.
>Bumpsy
If you like playing Johnny but everyone else won’t get off Dome or Brunt, this is your pick. Knocking people around like ragdolls is fun, but having such a high time to kill leaves more room for error. If you’re good at fighting games, you’ll probably beat everyone, but everyone will hate you.
