I can't into video games anymore, they're all so boring. Which games actually managed to get you back into it? I'm desperate here.

Play arcade games, you literal retard. Your problem is probably that you have shit taste.
For me it was Doom with wads. I literally spent a whole month fucking around playing the wildest wads and variations you can imagine. And it was the most fun I've had in a long time.
Go back to classics, play games you have a strong sense of nostalgia for. Maybe something will make your vidya taste sparkle up again.
I don't.
saints row the third with mods.
it's actually cyberpunk.
oh, and kane and lynch.
backlog, man.
unironically minecraft
List what you like. It'll almost definitely be typical reddit nerd garbage.
Don't worry WoW classic, is being released soon.
Ding Ding Ding. Winrar.
You bought into all the meme games Yea Forums's shilled you and think that's all there is. Go back in time, watch one of those platform catalog videos at high speeds with your music of choice. You can tell from even a short video whether something will draw you in or not.
Rabi-Ribi
What have you been trying to get into? Lately I decided to stop trying to play all this bloated bullshit and went back to play some snes games. Best decision. The simplicity in video games is something that I’ve missed and many of the games from that era tried their best to be unique.
TLDR play more “gamey” games
>Oh no oh fuck video games are so boring bros why don't I like video games anymore what do I do
*plays slow braindead turn-based RPGs*
*is a NEET that doesn't value his time and does nothing else*
*buys into hipster Yea Forums recommendations instead of playing fast and fun games*
>Oh fuck gaming is so miserable woe is me
I live gooseposters so I’m giving you my bump.
I play Overwatch competitively and practice every time I can. The game is fun about half the time but getting into new teams and social dynamics every match is interesting all the time. Something about improving at it feels like progress. Maybe you can feel something good too.
Otherwise I recommend of Might and Magic Dark Messiah, walking to the nearest breakfast joint in the morning, and little goals.
Horizon Zero Dawn. best game I've played in years.
Yea same. I can't tell if I'm just growing out of games, if I'm depressed or something, too lazy to play, or what, but I'm losing desire to play any games in my collection, and I'm only really looking forward to Death Stranding; and that only because it'll be an interesting movie.
Emulators.
>Tehehehe if it's not fun why bother
I just tried playing Deus Ex again but i had to stop after 5 minutes. The only game i'm able to play for longer than 20 minutes are the same games i've been playing for the last couple of years and which i can play on automatic, mostly Warband, but i can't say i enjoy it that much anymore.
>Might and Magic Dark Messiah
I remember really enjoying that one, i guess i'll try playing it again.
>fucking reddit spacing
of course 1/2 of you plays overwatch competitively and unironically says "gooseposting"
fucking kys
Nintentoddler etc, but BOTW was the first game to make me really care about a game in a while. Other games kept me enthralled because of the story, world, or whatever, but BOTW is the first time I felt compelled due to how the game actually played.

I understand how you feel. I don’t know user. I was in a slump for a while but I’ve been playing a lot of games lately. Don’t force it. It’ll come back to you eventually. I can only recommend either trying something completely different from what you’d usually play or just taking a break.
try roguelikes or 2hu
something much more difficult or obscure then your regular mainstream game
The last game i actually managed to get really into was Elona, so that might be a good idea, i've been interested in UnReal World and Stone Soup for a while.
>Which games actually managed to get you back into it?
H-games
I'll go through any kind of bullshit if the gameplay is enjoyable and the porn is great
Get an actual hobby that you can become skilled at.
Yea Forums dont play video games
you are in right place
enjoy your wojacks, animu and gosling posters
I played Shantae for the first time a short while ago, and I couldn't put it down. It's a very charming and soulful game.
Yup, BoTW is the only game I've completed in recent years. All other games make me depressed or are boring.
That being said, I wouldn't advise buying a Switch exclusively for BoTW unless you're looking to sell it for close to the price you bought it.
I tried other games and they're all a pile of colourful wank stains.
I stopped playing vidya around 2008 and got back into it in 2012, I think.
Saw Yea Forums shilling Dark Souls and thought I'd give it a try. It's still one of my favourite games, too bad the series got memed to the point you can't tell it without spergs starting screeching at you about your shit taste.
Prey 2017 was great, definitely cured my vidya burnout
