did you also love this amazing game back in day? it's still alive. we need more players, new and old to join and populate it once again. there are some active private servers, i'd personally recommend m2o as its the closest to the original ijji client and u can fb share to get coins for premiums, so in that sense its not even pay2win like ijji was. come, we are waiting for you
Remember Gunz: The Duel?

let it die in peace user
I wonder how you fuckers look in real life lmao and what mad twisted fetishes you have.
>use smgs instead of honorable katana dueling
>get kicked from server
GunZ was so fucking retarded and I loved it. I even liked GunZ 2. I have no interest in playing it anymore.
I WANNA FUCKING GO BACK
I remember it being a barely-functional glitchy mess infested with cheaters. However there's something uniquely mid-2000s about it
hey man I used to play it back in the day. I still do. I hope you succeed in ur mission.
user it's been too long. I'm almost 30, I'm not as quick on the draw as I used to be. I think I'm done, man. Sorry.
>spastic retards doing 50 key inputs a second to swap weapons constantly and fly around the map
>this is hailed as the pinnacle of skill
>just equip and assault rifle and shoot them in the face every time
good idea for a game but shit implementation
if you could hit them they weren't doing the block input correctly
NO. i will not accept the fact my baby is dying no matter how few people give a fuck and how many think its a shit game cause they could never dbf...
>have a fun matrix-wsque shoot em up
>>some soulless Asian autist discovers a glitch that allows you to break the game and be functionally invincible to the game's primary weapons, guns
>instead of fixing the glitch the devs encourage it and it becomes the dominant playstyle
>entire game meta devolves into who is more autistic
I put about a 1000 hours into the game over the course of its life, but ill always remember it for what it could have been rather then what it was.
>lost contact with every single one of my old gunz buddies
>will never speak to them again
>tfw this is the first online game I played and got me into PC gaming
I looked at some gameplay and I literally do not understand what's going on. What the fuck is this game
Jesus Yea Forums. Where did the time go?
I remember being a young little boy with shiny, hopeful eyes and getting home from school. Powering on my old Compaq and playing GunZ until it was time for dinner.
I remember sneaking out of my bedroom at night, past my bedtime, and going into the computer room to play GunZ until 2 AM.
I bet that if I played again I would remember how to do all those fancy moves I used to do in the game. K-style, wall hovering, reload cancel...
I want to go back, Yea Forums. Being an adult sucks balls. It is nothing like I was promised.
Why play GunZ when you can play S4 League?
the pinnacle of gaming skill
Jesus christ, that music.
I'm tearing up bros.
You are now realizing that Maeit put the "i" in "team".
I remember before it got flooded with korean hackers.
Best freemium game of the 00s.
Play on a no-lead server, fren. It puts an end to those stupid 20 minute duels.
Exactly the same boat, really.
It's fucking dumb looking back at this game in my memory and going "oh, right, butterfly/'k-style' was the only way to to be good, can't do that shit anymore" but I can't see it another way anymore.
It was a bummer when you stopped getting into games where people played 'normally', it felt and looked a lot cooler.
Was Quest mode ever good? I think I quit before that even got added. Was it interesting or was it essentially just dumb bots?
Because s4 is aesthetically better.
Quest was hella fun. Stages were straight out of movies. I remember there was a Rock stage (the Sean Connery movie) and a mines of moria stage.
God damn I played this fucking game so much.
I played exteel.
I just kstyled over walls and the like and used two shotguns switching them so you didn't have to pump them.
It was a blast until hackers wrecked everything.
very hard to learn how not be absolute trash, very rewarding when you do :)
I used to play this on one of those early shitty Acer small ass notebooks
bring back the clueless new players from before autsitic sword-dash-block-shotgun-play came in and i'll come back, too
