Punch Out needs a barren horribly overrated entry?

No we just need another instalment
Unfortunately I doubt it could be created without people throwing a hissy fit these days

>Boxing RPG similar to Punch Club but with Pokemon style gyms lead by punch out characters

Be given pointless Ubisoft towers?

ten sexo

>still no Punch Out Switch
>ARMS exists
Safe to say, I don't think it's happening, sadly.

>I want every game to be a rehash of the original

I'm SICK of all of these reboots and nonsensical sequels that don't expand on the plot or characters. Punch Out hasn't changed or evolved at all since the 80's.

>Mac goes the Tyson route, ends up as a insane buff guy high on crack that goes around the city punching random people in the face

>don't expand on the plot or characters
The plot is literally "Win the Boxing Tournament" and all the characters are walking stereotypes. What the fuck is there to expand?

Clarifying things like does Doc REALLY likes chocolate?

This but you have a bitchy Brooklyn Latina gf that you go home to. Essentially a GTA iv with a boxer

Background. Character. What it means to be a Champion. Overcoming weight classes.

These are all very real issues that Punch Out could be utilizing to make a truly ground breaking Sports story but fails due to Nintendo's incompetence. Punch Out Wii was a massive disappointment in that regard. it was nothing more than a rehash of the original, with the same characters, circuits, and ending. It is lazy and uninspired.

if it ain't broke don't fit it retard
Punch Out Wii is literally one of two games I'd genuinely consider 10/10.

Why would you want to see Punch-Out discussed in Best of the Worst?

You could try all you want to make Punch Out some stupid emotional story or whatever the fuck and take away from it's actual gameplay in the process but it still wouldn't be as emotionally impactful as the scene with Doc at the end of Punch Out Wii

Going back to the original game and expanding the concept while largely ignoring the concepts born from it in previous games on more limited hardware?

My friend, they kind of went as far as they can with the series.

>nothing more than a rehash of the original, with the same characters, circuits, and ending
But Aran Ryan and Bear Hugger are from Super Punch-Out. They changed Aran Ryan from being a boring cunt to a crazy shithead. And they added two new characters, Disco Kid and Donkey Kong. If Mike Tyson counts, so does Donkey Kong.

This. THIS THIS THIS.

Patobox is what you're looking for.

I just want another Super Punch-out on switch. Bring in all the characters from every game, add in the dazing mechanic, turbo punch, super punch, etc. Bonus points if they have a "classic" campaign with little mac in the fighting style of Wii Punch-Out and introduce a new character for the "super" campaign. I just want to fight mad clown and masked muscle and hear them speak in their native language.
