easily killed her with strength build, gave up on her with magic if you play wizard it really is impossible

sometimes a wizard just has to get in a bitch's face and go to work with his raw weapon. ranged shit is generally worthless on her but she has her moments where she is open for crystal dick spear.

Dragon is so overrated. Him and gael just because they were the last bosses to release so people remember them more.

I'm no expert tryhard to these games, I generally die 4-10 times a boss atleast first time. Midir took me 3 tries, gael took 4.

I was friedes' bitch for days. My build may have made midir easier though, used a lightning weapon.

the dragon relies on big, telegraphed hits so shields in general make a mockery of him (he won't combo down your stamina). He's also much easier on repeat plays when you've seen his moveset since its designed to be mastered.

On the other hand if you're not overlevelled/met him first on high NG+ he'll 1-2 shot you on basically any move, which makes it take a long time to get footing against him.

not only she cant dodge it because the projectiles are too slow but she seems to be weak to it as well

Friede is the only difficult boss in the game, don't be a scrub.

It looks like Midir has a huge healthbar until you realize he can be riposted for massive damage after hitting him in the head a few times.

I've never riposted his head more than once despite always fighting his face.

To me, Elana isn't particularly troublesome until NG+++, then her HP pool makes the fight change drastically.

Afaik it's only once. If I remember it right you gotta do like half his hp just on his head for it.
All you gotta do is stay in his face. He has an agressive tail whip and it makes his AI harder to deal with. I could see it being hard for sorcerers not cheesing him with that Mercury spell

his dumb fire trails piss me off. any time he tried to shit fire on me i just used fire crackers to stun him.

After beating her i think Third phase is way easier than Second

I know you've gotta fight him face-to-face, just explaining why some (most) people have a lot of trouble with him.

She's a Bloodborne boss in a Dark Souls game, but that just means she has 0 poise. Get in there and rape her face with a big dick weapon or tag team her with Gael in phase 3.

I had a tough time with him until I figured out you can spam the pendant by mashing the button. His only threat is his dark magic so if you can negate that then all you have to do is punish his claw smashes.

Ancient Dragon is the worst boss in the entire series

i agree. people would argue bed of chaos but that boss has the decency to be over within 15 seconds if you use the reload trick. ancient dragon is just boring to fight.

i don't have any major problem with him unless i'm using a big slow type weapon. when that is the case only like one of his attacks is open long enough for me to get a hit in his final phase.

This shit was made for summon signs, it was never intended to be faced Solo.

Same for Gael.

I really hate these cinematic multi-phase bosses and DS3 was obsessed with them. Yeah, we get it, O&S was a cool moment, get new material.

I've never once done anything to the ancient wyvern except the intsta kill plunge attack.

I don't have a gorillion hours in souls but I always watch streamers or speedruners fighting these bosses expecting something similar and how they learn, and they make a fucking joke of most.
The only thing I thought was cheap is some of her combos on phase 3,it's like infinite stamina shit.

I really struggled with Friede, but got Gael within a couple tries, even after I had waited quite a while before buying the final DLC so I was out of practice. Midir was some real shit, though.
