Todd confirmed that it is going to require an online connection. I didn't want it to be online. I hate online games...

and seeing what they tried to fallout, maybe they're also going to another multiplayer mess. Could be good but it would kill what kept skyrim relevant to this day, 9 years after it's release. Yes, i'm taljking about modding and especially porn mods. I hope they aren't that stupid to kill this cashcow.
b-but modding is free
it kept the game relevant enough to launch more versions than the first star wars trilogy

What are you waiting for?

You expect me to play Pillars of Eternity or Kingmaker, neither of which are 1st person RPG's. Elder Scrolls is literally like the only RPG that's first person that lets you do what you want to do.

I was waiting for Elder Scrolls 6

Ah, okay, well, get that rope ready then

cringe

fuck bethesda, fucking morons who can't even understand what they have right now. They will kill everything that made skyrim great. And please understand, they released a bland if not shitty game that became good jn the hands of the modders. Gonna have to wait for a wild card out the blue now. But I really doubt any other game will ever have the same modding scene skyrim had. Bethesda didn't launch a good game, it was good enough for people to pick it and make it good, after millions of combined and somehat chaotically organized man-hours dumped into it.

People are still playing fallout 3 and skyrim and zenimax is missing out on all that player engagement that they so desperately want to monetize. We will be lucky if skyrim 2 even allows modding because it's going to cut into the creation club's profits too much.

All he did was talk about other games companies after saying ES6 would take longer, do you have a timestamp?

you would think that another western studio would make another high fantasy open world rpg with multiple playable races, character customization, and mod support, but naw
