When is the release date of this fucking game anyway?
Day after never
Afterparty
Noita
Ode to a Moon
Neon Entropy
Gloomwood
Spire (never ever)
World of Horror too
Maybe a few more I'm forgetting.
Minaria
Played all the momodora games, they have some potential
Looks awful. I'll admit that the line "There's a god a we are dead" is funny but that's all.
Absolutely kurwa
Me too
radio the universe, been waiting for like 4 or 6 years now since the kickstarter. if it even ever comes out it will just be remembered as a shitty hyper light drifter clone.
Blasphemous.
super benbo quest 2
Fucking moot that's not the pic I posted.
>Noone is talking about
>Threads have 400 replies
You are right, though
drift stage. but its dead in the water.
the real one that's full steam ahead that no one knows about is xenocrisis. these niggers are making a top down smash tv style alien run n gun and releasing it in pc, all current consoles, and are even making a version for genesis, neogeo and Dreamcast. genesis and neogeo are even getting their own working cartridges. ost fucking bangs too.
>Spire
Is that the FPS made by the Dustforce devs?
Seriously, when the hell is it coming out? It's been like 5 years since they announced it.
>Threads have 400 replies
Must have missed them since I only see Yea Forums talk about Bloodstained instead.
They Are Billions campaign mode
Not really indie but Pantheon - Rise of the Fallen. An MMO that brings back the core focus on the community itself rather than dumb gimicky gameplay mechanics sounds really good to me.
Dusforce released in early 2012 so imagine how long they've been at it. I read one of the devs mention recently that the procedural generation was taking a ton of time so in the meantime the rest of the team was working on side projects and other stuff. The way he said it, it sounds like it will still take years before it's finished but at least they haven't cancelled it.
gibhard
Well, it's better than nothing.
A fast FPS with emphasis on movement is always nice to have.
>Last devblog update was 2 years ago
see I posted in another pair of threads (I even made one but it get deleted because shitposting). These threads are fun, desu.
Will it ever be released? The last thing I heard is that the dev isn't actively working on it. He doesn't even know if he will release it for free or in a store.
Is there a massive pubic hair below?
>Monomyth
Does the dev still post in gamedev threads? It's always fun to see his stuff, though I fear he's set himself up for a game that requires a shit ton of assets
Ooblets
They were suppose to release last year but no word :(
Considering Junji Ito is the main influence, you can expect impossible horrors instead of pubes
He's posting on twitter and RPGcodex every then and now. I don't know how the fuck he's making this alone.
This one looks great and was supposed to be released in like two months, the release date disappeared though

Re:Legend. Since RF5 was announced I kinda forgot about it, but it still looks fun.
>wasting time on procedural generation that no one wants or gives a shit about
The Last Night
>Female protagonist
>Pixelshit
>Reddit humor
>great
My Friend Pedro is out this month and almost zero people on Yea Forums give a shit. The gameplay looks fucking incredible.
Also Spark The Electric Jester 2 just recently released and nobody gave a fuck at all. It's like the first but instead of "2D Sonic with combat and Kirby abilities" it's "Adventure Sonic with combat and Kirby abilties". Mechstermination Force is another good game that got zero fucking mention around here, although Gunman Clive (the dev's previous game) barely got any mention either.
>The gameplay looks fucking incredible.
>Meme games
>barely got any mention
I wonder why
Spark The Electric Jester 2 had a stealth launch or something? Didn't even know it's a thing until I saw it on Yea Forums
hylics 2
Whatever these two guys are making
twitter.com
twitter.com
Have you seen it? The movement is fluid, being able to aim both arms independently is a great mechanic, and the environmental interaction is incredible (down to ricocheting bullets off of a frying pan that's in midair, with the angle changing depending on the orientation it's in as it falls).
I saw a trailer a few weeks ago and I'm pretty sure it just sort of dropped late May. I haven't actually checked but I'm almost certain it's out now.
Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones
Hylics 2
Kingdoms of the Dump
Whatever Locomalito releases.
motherfuckin' Hylics 2
The game with spiders seems neato
Underrail DLC
it'll be extremely shallow, wake the fuck up
EITR
they said its finally coming this summer but I have my doubts
Dual Gear. Is it wrong to hope?
are there any indie devs out there making a clone of Obra Dinn yet. i need more of that game
Living Dark
youtube.com
I'm sure its dead tho
vaporware thread?
I'm retarded. What game is OP?
Mason hasn't posted anything since 2018 so I can't blame people. Still can't wait
World of horror.
Barotruama would of fit that bill, but it released today.
shame that they fucked everything up
I'm also really looking forward to Noita
Atomic Heart
youtu.be
psychonauts 2, i guess doublefine is indie?
im a little worried though, in their last game dev diary they said the old lead designer left and they hired some rando dude
The latest full flap
Monomyth, because it seems to be what Underworld Ascendant tried to be, a modern dungeon crawler similar to Arx and Ultima Underworld.
thats because its vaporware, user
Spire, though its probably dead at this point.
Hitbox team is really talented, I hope they keep making games even if spire gets canned.
recommend some good-ass but lesser known indies while we wait for games to come out
Fight'n Rage.
Monomyth is more like King's Field though
Lazaknitez.
Which is similar to UW and Arx Fatalis as well (by similar I mean they all have free movement and real-time combat, whereas the majority of first person dungeon crawlers have grid-based movement and turn-based combat).
Umbrella Warriors
Folkloria
Bat Galatic
Jack & Casie even through Shout
Bokube
It's my favorite, but not everyone cup of tea.
kero blaster
Buy the cave story guy, gets good when you do hard mode (different levels, not just the normal mode but harder) and a jacket run (no-damage run) for the steam achievements
hells new world 2
End State. Probably the most promising TBS in development.
Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass.

I played World of Horror this year at PAX East on a lark. The game sticks out in my mind more than anything else I saw. Happy to see it posted here
I've recently played this, and it's weird how i've yet to see anyone discuss it here. Or anywhere, actually.
A metroidvania with some light roguelike elements, good pixel art and a nice story. Not the most groundbreaking shit out there, but it is a good time.
newer ones? definitely try Hell is Other Demons, Im having a blast with it
Battle Chef Brigade
Aztez
Aces Wild
One Finger Death Punch and its sequel
Gunman Clive 1&2 (or the Collection which is on Wii U & Switch)
Odallus while you wait for Blazing Chrome. Also Castle in the Darkness.
RELEASE WHEN
whatever is next for carlsen games, but there's no info yet so it's normal that nobody is talking about it
aquanox 3
I was going to buy KIDS, but they removed the DRM-free build.
bup
Seconding this.
Only care about Metroidvania so these

Ultra Fight Da Kyanta 2.
It looks like a meme game, but it's actually a super slick fighting game with plenty of content. Good for beginners too since there are no command inputs and the best part about it is that it's free.
It's not fully translated into english yet, but you don't really need to know what's going on in a fighter so it doesn't matter.
Untitled Goose Game
bernband when
Rebel Galaxy Outlaw
First is Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin
Second is Legend of Bum-bo
I’m waiting for Platform Racing Forever, a modern sequel to an old flash game.
I posted that Squidward gif in another thread. This must be fate.
Oh and nobody ever seems to mention this either.
Desperados 3
The Church in the Darkness
Kind of need some direction, guy. "Indie" is not a fucking genre.
I feel like people know about this one, but nobody on Yea Forums seems to care.
We had countless threads about this game.
At the moment there is just nothing to talk about.
Darkest Dungeon 2
Hollow Knight Silksong
Crossniq
Radio the Universe
I totally forgot DD2 was a thing.
Does Disco Elysium count?
Oh shit I remember this game.
The dev is a cute girl.
just want some good action adventure or rpg games
Kenshi 2.
>I waited for Worlds for SEVEN years
Fucking pains me to see no one else taking interest in it what so ever. It's a really great game.
If you're into tactics games, and you've already played Shadow Tactics, I recommend The Banner Saga, Hard West, and the Expeditions games. Dex was a decent attempt at doing a 2D Deus Ex.
Xeno Crisis.
youtu.be
SMASH TV 2?
Blue Omen Operation
Police Team Kazuo rip
Monolith
One Way Heroics
DEADBOLT
Wuppo
SYNTHETIK
Smile For Me
I don't think these are exactly considered obscure, but they are all really fucking good so try them out.
Worlds
Zineth
Hydorah
Jamestown
