Should I play Stronghold HD or just the regular version? And also I never tried Crusader because no real reason but I never really enjoyed the endgame content in Stronghold, that is assaulting castles with limited troops and shit, on the other hand I really like the castle building, resource collection and such

stronghold crusader hd is superior to the regular version in every way. i think its also the only version on steam apart from stronghold crusader extreme which is different. yes you will like it. everyone likes it. maybe youll prefer stronghold crusader extreme.

extreme version is included. never played extreme version though, dont know what its like. been quite a while since i played the newer ones, dont remember them so well, didnt like them. theyre working on a new stronghold "stronghold next" i think the title is. that one might turn out good.

The game does allow for some great immersion and gives you the tools, both ingame and in conversation, to immerse yourself in your class and alignment, altho it's random as fuck sometimes
