is there anything more terrifying than running around the northern tip of the NWAF, going to check one last building before heading to the tents. as you turn around, you see someone running behind a building, trying to get a shot on you, to murder you. I don't know how long he was watching me, but I bolted out of there with my butthole tighter than it has been in a long while. had too much bitchin gear on to chance getting killed.

I have been enjoying myself running around up there over the last 2 weeks

you just run out of friends to play with, dayz in its current state is fun as it used to be, all you need are 3 people you enjoy playing with

I play solo, though I have been sharing my loot with a bunch of guys who have taken 8 cars into the woods.

lately, there seems to be more players. plus there is a lot of new youtube content

Nah running around tisy and you hear wolves howling that's way more scary. 9/10 times I have wolves biting my ass the minute I start looting.

i was playing with 3 buddies and we Met a few guys chilling the Wheat factory.. or whatever it was call .. big building you could overlook a Large area .. ... yadda yadda ... ended up having the Sweetest shoot out with this Clan ... it lasted 30-40 minutes of intense popping shots.. and talking shit ... it went on for so long they even brought reinforcements, and we played our hearts out.. sneaking, positioning ... never had anything like that before or since .. that was in 2014

I can't seem to get my mic working and not only in steam. I have tried 2 different head sets, but nothing works. going to try to install the latest drivers. if that doesn't work, does that mean there is something wrong with my system? what would it be?

I love the Christmas patches so I can rp as Santa giving the fresh spawns presents filled with guns and ammo. Only to be shot and killed in between electro and cherno.

There were two phases for me
1.) Get fully geared with military shit, even the mosin when it was like 1/100 spawnrate. Fill my bag with peaches and soda. Go down to the coast and slowly hand out all my peaches and soda and gear, even giving my guns away to maximize our chances of survival. More often than not they would want to run with me and play. At one point I had a mob of 15 fresh spawns that would immediately kill anybody who acted aggressive running up and down the coast.
2.) Get fully geared with military shit, even the M4 when it was like 1/100 spawnrate. Fill my bag with peaches and soda. Go down to the coast and slowly hand out all my peaches and soda and gear.. Get murdered by them when I was logging out and stripped naked even though I had given most of my stuff away.
