I don't know SMN that well so I hope someone corrects me if I am wrong:
Keep up dots. Fester, Painflare, Fester on single target. Painflare, Bane, Painflare for AoE, make sure to spread your dots with bane.
Use Garuda, especially if there is another caster. You don't need Energy Drain unless you run low on MP raising someone but you shouldn't.
Use Ruin 3 unless you need to move or weave off-globals between your gcds, then use ruin 2.
Using Aetherflow skills will give you Aetherthrail, you need three stacks of that to enter Dreadwyrm Trance (Level 60 skill).
Tri-Bind has 30 potency so only use it at 4+ enemies once you get Ruin 3, it gets stronger in DWT though.

Having to constantly change your rotation before level cap and then not having important abilities because of level sync is fucking retarded. The game would be better if it were set up more like an ARPG, all the abilities were unlocked low in the leveling process and you choose 3-4 to build around, with later levels focusing on buffing and giving additional components to those core abilities.

Raised the perfect raidgroup? Great. Who benefits? If you're lucky, a random guild that had nothing to do with the way they progressed. They get to kill bosses every night. They get the benefits of their kind and sweet personalities that came from the way you raised them.

As a raidleader who has a raidgroup, you are LITERALLY dedicating at least 2 moths of your life simply to raise raidmembers for another raidgroup to enjoy. It is the ULTIMATE AND FINAL cuck. Think about it logically

You don't need the Echo to survive a primal, just to resist tempering. People have killed primals without Echo like the Company of Heroes and the few Immortal Flames that manage to survive Ifrit. But it doesn't matter because the trusts can only be used in ShB dungeons.

The Company of Heroes still killed two primals without being tempered. It's not an automatic thing that happens just by being near a primal. And the Immortal Flames send frequent parties to kill Ifrit, which is how the SMN questline happens at all. Tristan and his brother were Flames troops on an Ifrit slaying mission, and they bring out a plaque with all the people that have killed Ifrit and come back alive in order to find him. The three other SMNs in the Flames have also all killed Ifrit without Echo.

Easiest role. You push your aoe button to keep aggro on aoe, single target to keep aggro on a boss. Some PLDs still fuck up the AoE part though and dont use either Total Eclipse or Flash

You won't even get half of your active skills as an archer until you hit 50, so yes. Most of the dungeons along the way will gradually introduce you to more and more mechanics that are found in raiding as you complete them (stacking, gaze attacks, spacing out AOE markers correctly, breaking LOS to avoid instagibs, taking care of adds)

I'm a relatively new healer, I'll listen to your advice user.

I was told I should be going with Cure 2 instead of 3 since it is stronger, and generally unless the dungeon or raid is hitting hard, healing between 3/4 and 1/2 is okay. Also tend to stack regen effects on whoever is tanking and surrounding people if it is an AoE. Should I be doing something different?

I was pleasantly surprised when I first heard JP Zenos and noticed he had the same voice as my character.
Toriumi's voice is perfect, low enough and isn't too noisy and obnoxious either.

Cure III is a heavy group heal that costs a lot of MP, with a very limited range. While learning, I recommend using Cure plenty, it'll take your MP farther, and give you a few free Cure II's.

The shield is something you have to actively do, but then primal tempering is usually an active ability they do too. Tempering by exposure is something that seems to take a decent amount of exposure judging by the information we have on tempered Kobolds.
