All of these PS2 platformers were shit and part of why the genre died. 3D platformers were good for one generation and after that only Nintendo continued with real quality control. They all felt like shit, looked like shit, and played like shit.

What I don't like about all these series adaptions of video games is that none of them want to have any form of plot or overarching conflict like the source material they're taking away from. Tak, Sonic Boom, Sly Cooper, etc. They take series about characters going on big weird adventures and just make them about bland episodic slapstick.

from top of my head there's like mario sunshine, ape escape 2/3, sonic adventures, jak & daxter, rayman 2, eh i guess sly even though i don't like it and ratchet & clank if that counts as platformer.
can't think of much else that was considered actually good.
