As far as I know not much happened. The case was just dismissed. Legal fees are to be handled by respective parties. Everyone is out a lot of time and money. Maddox didn't get monetarily fucked by it anymore than anyone else involved. One of the defendants tried to raise money for his own lawsuit but I don't think that went anywhere.
