definitely a definitive classic within its own niche kinda like Castlevania SoTN, Super Metroid, Dark/Demon's Souls...etc
someone post a bloody Ryu Hayabusa feels good reaction image

also which one is the superior version of NG2?

Haven't played it yet but I hear the original.

Original, XboneX version if you bother with it since it doesn't have constant frame drops. Sigma is shit.

Ninja Gaiden 2 sucks, unfortunately. There's no good version.

>Sigma
Yikes, go Black or go home.

The consensus is that the original is better. Sigma 2 adds a lot of content and changes things up. Some are improvements, some are significant downgrades:
>Blood is replaced with a purple mist
>Fewer enemies in certain areas
>Better performance due to fewer enemies
>Longer load times
>Additional chapters with different characters (Rachel, Ayane, and Momiji)
>New weapon (greatsword)
>Shuriken and bow/gun separated to different inputs so you don't need to fumble around in the menus for them
>Costumes changed up a bit
>Hint button that shows which way to go and some of the hidden paths are open right away
>More healing items
>Weapon upgrades limited to once per blacksmith
>Some (shitty) bosses removed
I personally prefer Sigma 2 though.

Sigma. Original now runs better on One but that's it.
OG is a visual mess and is completely monotonous to play.

>Blood is replaced with a purple mist
dropped

>not wanting frame drops on the stairs

I pity you

Great now go play bayonetta 1 and devil may cry 3. Youll love thos3.

already played them.

>>Fewer enemies in certain areas
they removed enemies EVERYWHERE. In NG2 they fucking flood you, in sigma its more like black. I would call it a different game alltogether.

so have you started hard? Youve just beaten about 15% of the content

Play the game on harder difficulties, it's almost a totally different experience

May as well tell him to play DMC1, it's a bit closer to NG than DMC3, I think.

Nah 1 is exploring first and fighting second. It isnt really defined like ninja gaiden is fighting wise.

no I haven't yet, but there is this gif that people always share where Ryu is fighting against another humanoid enemy that looks like him and runs on walls and shit, i haven't encountered that enemy.

Im stuck between telling you to jsut play hard and telling you about all the FUN youre gonna be having if you play hard

like having regular enemies spawn during the bossfight, forcing you to take them out while avoiding the boss, or trying to avoid them while trying to kill the boss.
most chests having worse drops, no more devil elixers
clone fights
new enemies everywhere

There's a lot of exploration in Ninja Gaiden Black, and DMC3 also had his share of boring RE-style puzzles.
DMC1 is closer to me because of the battles. The styles in 3 changed a lot how you fight enemies.

what was your favorite CGI movie?

sigma balls lol

anything with Rachel's jiggly titties in it.
