At least the Nintendies got to experience based Simpsons Hit & Run, which was a great game for aping on GTA, but man did it suck for non-idorts back then, and it especially sucks for kids today who get to experience V as their first GTA.

Bullshit. True Crime came out on gamecube. Rockstar just favored Sony at the time. Most of their games were Sony exclusive for a year or two and they didn't like Nintendo very much for some reason. Their devs used to publicly make fun of how pitiful the gamecube hardware was and claim it's impossible to port their games to the platform.
I could swear I saw a quote from Rockstar at one point where they said they were working on porting the 3D GTAs to GC alongside the Xbox versions. Anybody else remember that?

FUCK NO, GTA SA had the best mini games, story, missions & map but the core gameplay of shooting & driving got better in the newer iterations of the series. In many way SA & VC were more broken then III
