PS4 was definitely the better console between the Wii U and Xbox One user. Switch is 9th gen

PS1 is one of the most forgettable consoles of all time. N64 was the best although it aged like milk. Saturn gets an honorable mention for unique games. 3D0 and the jag are worse but that's not surprising.

It's actually pretty close. The only region where SNES unquestionably sold more was Japan. SNES was also supported by Nintendo for several more years, while Sega immediately shifted its focus to the Saturn and barely supported the Genesis after 95.

Genesis/Mega Drive sold more in most of the world because it was cheaper, the SNES only sold more overall because it was so popular in burgerland

But I am American. Most people around me had
a Genesis. (only Americans call it a Genesis) SNES beat the Genesis by sales by a few million and that was because the Sega consoles never picked up in Japan. Unless I'm remembering shit wrong.
