GOTY 2007

Now that the dust has been settled for a decade, what was your favorite game of 2007?
Honestly, a momentous year for gaming. Many great choices, I'll list a few:
>The Witcher
>Mass Effect
>Team Fortress 2 (and the whole Orange Box)
>Assassin's Creed
>peak World of Warcraft
>Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (also known as the good CoD)
>Bioshock
>Portal
>Super Mario Galaxy
>Crysis

For me, probably the most influential game was Call of Duty, shifting the whole genre back to multiplayer focus, the one I played most was World of Warcraft, and the hour-per-hour greatest of the year was Portal. Didn't play it as much, but every hour was amazing.

Postal 2

Metal Gear Solid 2 was set in 2007, does that count?

I don’t even remember what 2017 was like

Armored Core 4

This

>>peak World of Warcraft
>>Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (also known as the good CoD)
yikes'd hard

Was that REALLY a good game? It was novelty, and it wasn't influential.
Of course I played it, of course I talked about it, but it wasn't anything special, neither as a game, nor as a message.

No, I won't allow it. Pick something else.

Cut back on weed.

Never played it, sell me on it.

Not a fan of it's sequels, but for 2007 it has to be Mass Effect for me.
