Now that the dust has been settled for a decade, what was your favorite game of 2007? Honestly, a momentous year for gaming. Many great choices, I'll list a few: >The Witcher >Mass Effect >Team Fortress 2 (and the whole Orange Box) >Assassin's Creed >peak World of Warcraft >Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (also known as the good CoD) >Bioshock >Portal >Super Mario Galaxy >Crysis
For me, probably the most influential game was Call of Duty, shifting the whole genre back to multiplayer focus, the one I played most was World of Warcraft, and the hour-per-hour greatest of the year was Portal. Didn't play it as much, but every hour was amazing.
Metal Gear Solid 2 was set in 2007, does that count?

>>peak World of Warcraft >>Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (also known as the good CoD) yikes'd hard

Was that REALLY a good game? It was novelty, and it wasn't influential. Of course I played it, of course I talked about it, but it wasn't anything special, neither as a game, nor as a message.
No, I won't allow it. Pick something else.
Cut back on weed.
Never played it, sell me on it. >tfw no immersive VR game where you command a mech by actually moving the controls on the mech UI in front of you
It's got former child actor Gary Coleman in it, RIP it also has former child actor Zach Ward, you know the bully from a Christmas story? Games the only 11/10 on earth because I can piss and kick the shit out cops, marching bands and minorities all while practicing my second amendment rights. Postal 2 holds a mirror up to society and told it, "This is what you look like bitch"
user Postal 2 was like a meme Half Life mod you download and forget to play. Lets be real here, it didn't change anything.

Warcraft 3 custom map Defense of the Ancients 6.50 . Featuaring newly released nu-Invoker. Well 2007 also had the mighty 6.47 so it's an hard choice.

>Literally the best game made in Unreal Engine >Scenes of the game can be seen in the music video of The Black Eyed Peas single "Where Is the Love?" > 2004, New Zealand banned Postal 2 due to "gross, abhorrent content"(Urination, High Impact Violence, Animal Cruelty, Homophobia, Racial, Ethnic Stereotypes, etc) >Australia banned the game a year later due to "excessive abhorrent content". >On May 1, 2007, Malaysia banned the game outright due to "very high impact violence & offensive depictions of cruelty". >The game was also banned in Germany and temporarily banned for sale in Sweden > some reviewers gave the game a score of zero >pic related it really was a mirror facing society
I do >2007 was like this, Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying When I was a child I had a fever My hands felt just like two balloons Now I've got that feeling once again I can't explain, you would not understand This is not how I am I have become comfortably numb I have become comfortably numb When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse Out of the corner of my eye I turned to look but it was gone I cannot put my finger on it now The child is grown The dream is gone And I have become Comfortably numb.
Austin Harris
Why did you start with .... your lips? The lines just before it best describe it.
>There is no pain you are receding >A distant ship's smoke on the horizon

I sat there for like 2 minutes deciding the cutoff points, I should've just posted the whole song

2007 was a pretty transformative year, and the Early Zoomer/Gen Z childhood culture was in full swing. You had Web 2.0, Flapjack, iCarly, MW2, Super Mario Galaxy, Diary of a wimpy kid, Phineas and ferb, Soulja boy, etc. The Late Millennial kid culture (prime Toonami, Kim possible, Samurai jack, pre movie spongebob) was long gone by 2007.

I mean maybe, but what about Motorola Razers >Hell low Moto Nigga
Did we all slip into the bad timeline in 2007? Why has the world been shit since then?

The world ended in 2012 as the maya predicted, and this is a simulation.

The whole Orange Box was 10/10. Bioshock was very nice.AssCrees had good atmosphere I think but no substance. MassEffect was quite ok. Liked Kotor way more.

In 2007 Ukraine self-nuked with white phosphorous, causing an anomaly.
