Probably RTS and Strategic games, I spend an autistically long time playing them

MGS saga

Sekiro, been playing it for over 60 hours, going for olatinum. Love it.
>hopes for E3
Not really expecting mich, will check out the trailers post mortem and maybe catch a conference or two if I have the time

is cuckoldry videogames?

I put 50 hours in Sekiro. Was pretty good, but I need some more time before I touch it again. Beat it twice, but I wish it had more variety on subsequent playthroughs.
Negative.

Thoughts on Death Stranding? The only Metal Gear I ever played was V, and I liked it well enough. I'd consider getting Death Stranding after we see some uncut gameplay. Right now, I'm not too sure on it.

Recommend me some good hack and slash shit

>hack and slash
Action games or horde games?
For action, it doesn't get better than Devil May Cry. 5 is fantastic.
For horde stuff, I honestly think Hyrule Warriors has tons of content and is a lot of fun.

The former, I cant see why you would like to beat millions of enemies per stage

Can be fun for stress relief, I suppose.
DMC5 has the best gameplay of any action game I've ever played in my life, honestly. I've somehow put 120 hours into it and am still playing it almost daily. The combat keeps me coming back.

Imagine having to have a thread to discuss video games on the board meant to discuss video games. Maybe mods should cut down on the discussion of smash characters, consolewars, and twitter screencaps so video game discussion doesn't need to be relegated to a single thread.

i need a good FPS game to play, any one got suggestions?

OP here.
One of my favorite things about this board is how lax it is with the rules, honestly. It feels like Yea Forums with a video game backdrop at points.
I've had some prime banter on this board that hasn't related to video games several times.
Sometimes, though, I do like to talk about video games.

Are you on PC? Multiplayer or singleplayer? What atmosphere / genre?
Is 3rd person acceptable, or does it need to be 1st?

i am on pc, SP/MP whichever is cool, just want a cool military shooter though i dont really fuck with the strategy shooter shit only with a few exceptions
3rd person's cool too

Have you ever played S.T.A.L.K.E.R.? Not expressly military-related, but a lot of fun.
R6 Siege is great with friends. Have put hundreds of hours into it, but admittedly haven't touched it in a few months - got a bit burnt out.
Vanquish is one of the best 3rd person shooters I've ever played and plays nothing like any other game I've ever played in my life. Seriously underrated and relatively under-the-radar. youtube.com/watch?v=kOp4XLA0oPk

Sonic the Hedgehog, Halo, Devil May Cry, or Mortal Kombat (crazy how I like the ones with all the fucked up fanbases)

I just finished Yakuza 0, and now I'm just finishing up the substories and the Cabaret Club.

DMC5 DLC, a Killer Instinct sequel, Sonic Adventure Remake, and maybe a Marvel vs. Capcom 4

What game do you defualt to when you just want to straight up relax? I usually just swing around in Spider-Man PS4 and listen to music on YouTube.

I'm cautiously optimistic because MGSV happened, and I'll go in expecting nothing more than what we've seen in the trailers, which is walking, some neat traversal mechanics, some punching of bad dudes, some shootan and some sneaking. Nothing more, nothing less, I like it already and I'm okay with what the game looks like.
I'm feeling burned out already but I just need to do the shura ending and mindlessly farm exp and materials for the last upgrades so I'm just pushing through it since I have nothing else to play at the moment.

So how do you guys feel about one of those gaymen laptops? I need one that runs games because I have more time at night shift than at home, what should I consider with a budget between 600 and 900 eurobucks?

TF2 for pure fun.

Honestly, Souls games like DS1 and DS2 are extremely relaxing once you know all the item / enemy placements. It feels like coming home. After a certain point, all semblance of challenge is gone, and it's just fun to play the game and vibe.

>Devil May Cry
I never played a DMC in my life before last E3, but that trailer was good enough that my interest was piqued. Ended up getting the HD collection and playing every game but the reboot. I'd get the reboot if DE was on PC, but it's not, so it's whatever.
The original DMC5 trailer is one of the best trailers I've ever seen. The game is godlike, too - easily one of my top five ever.

Death Stranding looks intriguing, but I have a buddy at work who does nothing but splurge about how Kojima games are the second coming and how deep they are, so it's kinda burning me out on the idea of playing it.

I feel sorry for your friend if he's over 15. The only decent game Kojihack was involved with was MGS 1
