This is a problem with a lot of writers that try to write strong female characters, but end up with sociopathic killers.
Because they're hacks.
Because they think
>I must write a female character that is physically as strong as a male character, and does all the things a male action video game protagonist does, so she must kill hundreds of people
But then they also think
>but she must also have a feminine aspect to the character, she must be emotional when needed, she must face the prospect of male violence and impending rape on her
etc
So what do you get?
You get a character that is bipolar as fuck, and wildly whiplashs between crying all over herself, to giving herself motivational self-help mantras, to sticking a fucking knife in hundreds of people while mowing hundreds more with automatic rifles but then she also thinks about her friends, mentor figure etc.
What do you call such a character?
A fucking lunatic.
A person that has lost all grip on reality and is a bipolar batshit insane trigger happy cunt.
There's no intelligence to this writing, no nuance, no actual understanding of how to write a female character.
Yea Forums always says that modern AAA titles are c ucked and SJWfied, but i disagree, actually these games are basically written by someone on Yea Forums, just on the other side of the autism spectrum.
The average person on Yea Forums would write Lara as a cumslut that gets impaled by a horse in her free time when she's not flashing her tits to the [insert generic enemy faction here], because women are alien creatures to them past the sex appeal and degenerancy angle.
These writers make her out to be a schizo robot that spends half her time crying and the other half mercilessly eradicating half of humanity, because they also have no fucking clue about women either.

Nah, they've got a different set up to Uncharted. Layout wise how the areas interconnect, while Uncharted is a one and done level.
Metroidvania-esque when you unlock new gear and use that in areas you've been before to find more stuff.
