What game?

Because you're a furfag

is he about to dab

Undertale

anime

i didnt like it

Oh, cool. Can you go home to leddit then, please?

It would have been better if you could actually fail it, at least during the first part.

LOL LE REDDIT!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!

>doesn't even know the game's content
>still proceeds to bandwagon like a tryhard who desperately wants to fit in
You don't btw.

because you are gay

Please leave

He was a child whose friend died. When he took him back to his people they thought he did it and killed him in return. He was dealt a shitty hand and with the mind of a child turned into Flowey. Maybe I didn't fully grasp the ending but that was the gist I got. Kinda wish we could save Undertale Asriel in Deltarune but I guess that'd lessen the first games ending. Just would like to see him get a happy ending too.

it was pretty homo desu. neutral ending was better.

He is rather cute for a crazed unruly angry ghost god goat.

Yes, OP I was watching GameGrumps too.

If you're 12, yeah.

Hey, I enjoyed undertale and I'm not a furnigger. There is a good game under the blanket sheet of hate you guys throw on top of this thing. I didn't even play it when it was everywhere I played around august of last year. Decent story fun characters and good gameplay with different endings. It's understandable why this game got so much praise and it was made by a guy who fucks con girls that cosplay as the characters HE made. pretty based if you ask me.

because you wanted to fuck him

it wasn't, this game was written to appeal to people who cry at cartoons and it turns out thats a pretty large audience.

It's not. You're just being brainwashed like the goy you are.

It was so goddamn corny and sappy but sometimes it's nice to have something like that every now and then. It was a good climax.

FUCK FLOWEY

FUCK ASRIEL

AND FUCK THICC THIGHS

Nah man.

You spend pacifist constantly banging your head against tough fights and getting your ass kicked. Reaching the final boss, seeing your soul split like it's done hundreds of times before... only to refuse with the words "But it refused."

It's supposed to make you feel powerful, like the omega Monster Jesus you've become through your dedication. It's your reward for the pacifist route.

Conversely, the Sans fight, which is filled to the brim with cheap, unfair bullshit, is your punishment for the genocide route.

pacifist ending could've been scrapped, wish Toby just stuck with the neutral ending, while keeping the the true lab as a secret side area

You've jerked it to goatmom or Asriel don't lie.

>You spend pacifist constantly banging your head against tough fights and getting your ass kicked

It wasn't, you just loved it because it had bright colors and ebon music to appeal to adhdfags

>You spend pacifist constantly banging your head against tough fights and getting your ass kicked.
I'm sorry, which pacisift boss was meant to be hard?

It stopped being interesting to me when I realized you couldn't lose and you were basically sitting through a glorified cinematic.

It really wasn't. It was so damn cliché. Come on, man. It's like watching a children's cartoon.

>leddit
be a fucking man and say the forbidden word.

I wish Asriel was my husband

dont we all?

Asriel's better as Flowey

god Yea Forums is autistic

>he doesnt know
YOU have to go back

which character is that? I only find weeb names

Seriously user, you somehow missed the name of one of the most memed antagonists from one of the most memed games by normies and one of the biggest furrybaits? baka, try dreemur,

Undertale is... Okay. It does what it wants to do fairly well and doesn't overstay its' welcome. It's occasionally funny, too.

What it isn't is a masterpiece. It's honestly overrated to all hell and not nearly as good as people sell it to be. There are moments when it's ugly, garish, ham-fisted or just downright insulting to the player. It deserves some recognition but not nearly as much as it ultimately did.

People just fell for the fucking quirky bullshit because that was trendy during the time.

Probably the music. A lot of the more emotional moments are carried by the music

angrykermit.jpg

Gotcha covered, me

The sound design had a lot to do with it, "Hopes and Dreams" is the best song in the game. It mixes in all the songs you've been hearing throughout the game but does it in electric guitar. Honestly just fucking sick.

>all these seething redditors replying
based

don't make video games.

>trying this hard to fit in.
come on user, you are better than this

>Hey Son, you still playing your dog sex game?

I believe angry kermit is just ironic as he says.
He complains about echo opinions, but then everyone proceeds to appreciate it.

y-you too

I kinda disliked all the times it attempted to sound like a mother game with "le quirky dialoge", it just felt disingenuous. The game was better off when it was just being itself in the opening ruins area and the epilogue.

Asriel Dreemurr was cool looking

Man you sure pissed off some redditors.
Trannies and furfags belong in gas chambers.
You are not welcome here.

newfags don't know how to get past the spam filter

That arm/weapon likes like that OC donut steal sword made out of steel.
You know the one

Edgy little baby, Undertale is a certified Yea Forums classic, keep up

No dad, and it's indie GOAT sex, and it's far superior to western AAA, 3DPD snoy games. Watch

DAAAD!
ITS CALLED DUDE SEX

It's just a canon he pulls out once that fills up and shoots out a rainbow.

goatfag how does it feel to know that your precious ralsei plushie will never ship?

Leitmotif

>Hurr durr you can't lose the fight
Meanwhile at any other fight in the game
>Die
>Respawn right next to the boss with full health and items
>Restart the, at best, slightly challenging, short fight but with knowledge if exactly what is coming with the intro cutscene cut
>This is somehow considerably better than cutting the bullshit and just 'respawning' then and there with an in game reason why so the climactic conclusion's pacing isn't cut up

this user gets it

The reason it works is that all the final bosses for Undertale have incredible game design to get across their specific emotion.

>Omega Flowey is designed to be an unnerving rollercoaster of emotion
Every aspect of it pushes and pulls on the tension of the player. With the music, the pacing, the visuals and the mechanic shifts, the whole thing is able to be intense (for most players) while being SUPER accessible and actually not hard at all thanks to safety nets like the healing portions and the %health damage that Omega Flowey does.

>Asriel is a victory lap
You literally cannot lose the fight. The whole thing is just an emotional high with over the top visuals and playing with the wording of shit to really make the player feel triumphant. The fight is meant as an emotional reward for having gone through the trouble of getting to know all the characters in the game and really being invested and a nice person.

>Sans is a punishment
Sans is the only fight in the game that's really hard (unless you suck at DDR style shit in which case Undyne can fuck you up too). But rather than being hard in the sense that it's trying to challenge you, it's oppressive. It's trying to get you to stop by being a ridiculous spike in difficulty. But in doing so it also stokes the flames of those truly devoted to doing it all, leading to them learning it more and more and getting better and better until finally, they beat him.
And when they do that, then they've fully earned the genocide ending with Chara.

It's brilliant game design.

Great soundtrack, it took time to let you get to know the characters, also it forces you to experience the neutral ending first

I want to hug the goat.
