2 is better in every way. Big Willy Unleashed is one of the worst games I've ever played. Path of the Furon is severely underrated, it's actually pretty solid.

For one, this is THQ Nordic which seems to be like PS2 era THQ which was pretty good, for another, PoTF and Big Willy were being developed when Pandemic were making the Saboteur and another studio were making those two.

I only trust Pandemic with the IP but I'm feeling better about this now. Are we sure it's tomorrow's reveal?

After Pandemic was killed (Thanks EA), reportedly some of them went to THQ Nordic, so who knows.

I think its an age old case of people really liking the novelty of the first installment, then that wearing off for the sequel, even though the sequel was really just the first but with slighty better graphics animations and new gadgets/abilities. It was literally a better game but I think the novelty wore off for a lot of people. The only real difference in a slighty negative way was that the first felt like an open sandbox more often and the sequel felt much more gamey

These games are being published by THQ Nordic. For those who may not be aware or who may have forgotten, THQ Nordic had a marketing effort where it intended to gain attention using a website that is known primarily for its support of child pornography, as well as for support of Neo-Nazism, doxxing, and other extremely damaging behaviours.

THQ Nordic's provided no response to this fiasco except for an apology claiming they did not do enough research. As the website is unlisted by Google, they had spoken to the board owner about removing "nasty stuff", and content was viewable both before and during the campaign, this claim is beyond belief. The individuals responsible are known not to be rogue PR interns, but go up to THQ Nordic's board. THQ Nordic has not dealt with the individuals responsible.

Consider that by supporting their games, you are supporting a publisher that is complicit with child pornography.
