Microsoft won last year, but it didn't matter since its all on PC or even PS4. They had so many multiplat non-exclusives non-Xbox games there which is why Sony usually got a ton of praise. Its just a war of money throwing to see which trailer you can grab and what audience you want looking at your services and subscriptions.

FROM isn't at their E3 for the love of the green side, its a fat ass wad of money to get that loud audience watching and talking about the conference

I made the mistake of getting an xbox and cant wait to see how many of those titles they end up cancelling or end up on PC so the exclusivity doesnt even matter

They'd need something exclusive to differentiate themselves from the rest but as long as its exclusive on console then it's fine if the game is also on windows because they don't need to convince anyone to use windows over like iOS because windows holds like 95% of the markershare anyway. The console exclusives will generate sales for their console because there'll be games on there you can't play on any other platform. In general though exclusives don't sell consoles but it creates a better perception for the console in people's minds.

Honestly I can see gamepass being insane value for money in 2-3 years time provided they don't suddenly price hike it. All their exclusives will be on it day 1 so just imagine the kind of exclusive library they can offer over the next few years from both AAA and AA as well as 3rd party games in the same categories for just $10 a month. 60 fps isn't just a hardware issue, the console makers need to enforce that shit. We could have 60 fps on current gen shit if every dev was like the doom 2016 devs. they prooved you could have decent graphics, a good amount of on screen action, and 60 fps on ps4 and xbone.

Except it isn't. Go and read all the insider stories about the PS5 development and you'll realise there's way more too it than their no games claim. They literally have 2 of, if not their biggest games of the generation so far releasing this year and people would be desperate to see more. Hell just by showing DS and TLOU2 alone would satisfy a lot of people and they can top it off with their usual 3rd party CoD gameplay footage and whatever. If you've followed the PS5 development though you'd realise that the PS5 (according to industry sources) had an architectural change early last year or some time during the year and their original plans which was to apparently have a teaser event at PSX and the full unveil at E3 was canned because of the architectural change being the change to Navi but AMD ran in to problems with it which is why they didn't show it off in January at CES. If you follow PC hardware it was a big deal because everyone was expecting it but it was a no show and that links up with the delays in the PS5 this year.

Basically the PS5 was supposed to launch this year with games like death stranding timed exclusive, TLOU2 and other games maybe FF7 timed exclusive.

As an old idiort, PS has always been my favorite system. Even when having a 360 and PS3, I would play games on PS3 even though the 360 version ran better. I'm about as diehard of a fan as you can get without being a full blown fanboy. With that being said, even I can't stand the thought of buying a PS5. You don't know how much it hurts me to lose PS.
