havent played sekiro yet, but isnt it like Dark Souls in terms of how every death is canon?
you see, in Dark Souls, if the chosen undead dies, its canon that he gets ressurected at the bonfire. your character is pretty much immortal, since he has infinite attempts to beat any enemy.
seing how Raiden CAN die (if you die in MGR you just load the latest savestate, your death isnt canon) that means, that at least the Dark Souls Characters would eventually kill raiden AT ONE POINT in an infinite attempts cycle.
Buuut i'm not sure if Sekiro handles death in the same way.

Yes probably. I actually practice sword fighting, and the animations in Sekiro indicate that he's just as much of a bumbling bafoone who never learned real sword fighting as every other Souls protaganist.
