it's a fart joke
he wanted his people to have the same prosperity as hyrule
its not too hard to understand
He's a brapfag
he's full of shit is what he is
His pisspoor excuse for his actions. When he actually did have the Triforce he always used it for destruction and never bothered improving anything for the Gerudo.
best ganon. Powerful and scary as fuck. At the same time classy with a flair.
He was jelly as fuck.
searching for meaning in dull lines of a fucking nintendo/zelda game. There is no meaning behind it. its about "fun!"
he envied the hylians and wanted to claim what they had for himself.
snoy
He doesn't even keep the resources he so coveted intact when he manages to seize power. When he had the Triforce in OoT he turned Hyrule Castle and Town into a hellscape and made life harder for everybody else including the Gerudo, in LttP he turned the Light World into a hellscape that became the Dark World, and in the non-canon Hyrule Warriors he turned the land into a hellscape.
Granted it's a Nintendo game and every villain does this, Bowser hardly ever leaves anything intact when he seizes power either.

Interestingly enough, this is the only game where he does not transform into beast form Ganon, so the Gerudo may be his human desire, while ruling over destruction and chaos may be inherent to the beast within.
I SUPPOSE!
To hammer that in more the one "Beast Ganon" like thing we get is a mere puppet or parody of it. As if Ganondorf is in control of his more savage and monstrous ambitions now.

that's because he's a selfish tyrant. any justification he had for wanting to help the gerudo was bullshit. he didn't want to help his people; he saw that the hylians had better lives than him and he wanted to take it, if only to deprive them of it. to him there was no point of being king if all he was king of was a shitty desert, so he wanted more.
Didnt he want to being bsck Hyrule? He tries to reason with you theoughout the game but the human hylian hybrid you play as wont listen to him
It's one of the few Ganondorf incarnations who isn't "lmao, evil" and instead fully believes in his justifications for all the shit he's done.
He's lived fucking forever at this point just to die from a sock-headed toddler. A shame.
No wonder he looks like this after that experience
I still like the part where the King uses the Triforce to wish for a future of hope for Link and Zelda, and rather than get pissed at the fact that everything he's done for the last 300 years was just made completely pointless, Ganondorf laughs like a maniac and says fuck it, now he's just going to kill them.
He most likely just wanted the kingdom back so he can be it's mad tyrant again. Considering his fortress was once again a hell hole his taste in decor never changed and he probably wanted the rest of the world to end up like that too. Hard to take over the few islands of civilization left when you have to organize a navy and your main troops are idiot fodder though.
True but still. I feel like this ganon was alot less evil than previous incarnations
Been a while since I played, I thought he wanted to be free from the prophecy at this point - yearning for a freedom he could not have since it was his lot to be the big bad for eternity. I might but wrong though, details are fuzzy in my mind.
