It‘s one third of a monitor. The panel itself is like 5000 bucks, but apple got even more greedy so they sell the arm and the foot seperately for another 1500 dollars or something.

honestly the monitor is the only part of this where the pricing makes sense given its specs, and no it's blatantly not meant for vidya - it's meant for video editing/rendering and production companies to use. The pricing for the mac pro and especially the stand is an absolute insult though.

And Applards will still buy it because they can only handle iOS and because they have complete and utter loyalty to the Apple brand.
